Warum ? Weil jeder der nen Asic an den Start bekommt möglichst schnell sein Return of Invest haben will und durch weitere Asics die auch "schnell" den
Return of Invest erreichen wollen sich gegenseitig massiv runterbieten werden -verschärft wird das dann noch durch die ganzen selbstgebauten Asics die über den
Sommer dazu kommen werden...
Wollen die ganzen ASIC Käufer, die Dinger tatsächlich um mehr Fiat zu bekommen, welches dann von der Inflation aufgefressen wird?! *kopfschütteln* Hätte ich einen Miner, würde ich versuchen den Kaufpreis in BTC wieder zu bekommen und die Teile danach weiter BTC erarbeiten zu lassen. Umtauschen in Fiat würde ich die BTC nicht. Ja, wollen wir. Wir gehen davon aus, dass Inflation einen positiven Effekt auf den BTC Preis hat. Alles in allem ist das Problem, dass unsere Wirtschaft und Länder gerade eine enorme Inflation brauchen, damit die aufgenommenen Schulden zugrunde gehen. Was natürlich dem armen Pöbel am meisten weh tut. Der Staat erholt sich dann, wenn die Inflation höher ist als die aufgenommenen Zinsen auf die Staatsverschuldung. Die Preis gestaltung ist schon recht seltsam ... auf der einen Seite kann man sagen das man sein invest gerne "sicher" wieder hat ... auf der anderen seite werden Spekulation für den einzelnen Günstiger da eine Versicherrung im Haushalt steht dadurch spekuliert man anders .... die umverteilung wird eine andere wenn Jeder einen teil der Coins umschlägt sicherlich sind nur noch 50% zur verfügung aber immerhin der pendel kurs erledigt die restliche umverteilung auf viele weitere ... das gestaltet den Kurs auf eine andere ebene des Handels vor wenigen monaten musste man angst haben das jemand kam und eine 50K order aufgab ... Mtgox hatte sogar noch eine sperre drin für trads über 1 mio Volumen , die den gesamten handel stoppte der jetzige kurs ist noch zu hoch erst wenn die umverteilung stattgefunden hat nicht nur durch fpgas und wechsel an der börse wird der kurs echte sprünge machen die ganzen Newbies werden kaufen verkaufen und auf jeden verdammten zug aufspringen wesentlich tiefer als gesunde 50 $ sehe ich den kurs dieses jahr nimmer eher nach dem SOmmer bei 500$ |

Hmm ich habe ein sehr gutes gefühl wenn ich prognossen mache liege seltens daneben. Ich rechne mein vermögen aber in $ und cashe alles was im + ist aus Eure analysen sind schon seltsam meistens kann man den kurs gerade mal für 2-3 Tage vorraus sehen ggbfs trifft das schlüssel ereignis auch nur etwas später ein oder überspringt diesesn im schlimmsten fall. Was wir jetzt sehen , bei dieser seitwärts bewegung ist eine Markt manipulation das ist der grund wieso es im Augenblick ruhig ist. Die order die man sieht ist getürckt um 21500 Bitcoin um genau zu sein .... wir werden bis zum WE ein kurs plus von 12 $ erreichen und danach 45 $ nach unten verlieren ... intressant dabei ist es das wir dann bei 90 $ Hängen was wiederrum ein gewaltiges Volumen erzeugen wird Wir sprechen uns Samstag abend  |

Die Problematik ist hier die R&D Zeit, die die Chips brauchen. Das kostet locker eine Million Euro. Bereits hergestellte Chips zu kaufen und entsprechend zu verbauen, wäre einfacher. War das eine freiwwilligen Meldung |

sehe ich genau so ...
problematisch ist eigentlich das Josh im Dezember schon sagte es sind 75 k Chips unterwegs zu Ihnen siehe Forum bei BFL ....
Jede 2 1/2 Woche also grob 3 Wochen kämen neue Wafer dazu 5 Stück ....
das war im Dezember als es noch hiess ... perhaps end of this month .... danach 6. Januar ... *erinnert euch*

Neue Boxen da man wohl merkte das passt nicht ...

Won't scale to 72GH/s for 340 USD... more like 10.000 USD, which is in line with what Avalon is charging.
BFL might be trying to get economies of scale as they (possibly) realized they shot themselves in the foot with pricing. Then again, their ASIC is on a smaller process so each unit might be cheaper than the Avalon ones (so many variables...).
The Avalon 66GH/s has been measured at 620watts by at least one owner, and uses 240 chips that run at 275MH/s not 300MH/s even at 300MH/s we would be talking over 40watts per 16chip Klondike board. Personally I would wait until the chips have arrived, been fitted to a board and measured running before making efficiency and cost claims. You might suddenly find the 16 chip board needs more cooling or who know what other issues. +1 I think this Project is and was for BFL too much ... Orderded tons of "minirigs" boxes without any protoyp ordered much boards without Chips ... ordered Chips without knowing how it works and lost 5000 Chips ( 5 Wafer ) and now they get results to hot ... = new boards ... = new Boxes ... = new Design ... = new Price ...= New Boxes again .... = and next ? they learn they must paid Bills over one Year without sold any product ... NOW all sales are final it was to be dangerous to pay more refunds with the compete dealys and old hope ... they learned they need first a protoyp to calculate some one ... for over 1 Year i know it BFL never hold the first date .. because the make some mistakes with the FPGA .... but i get a little bit hope they learned about her old mistakes first product FPGA = 10 Month Delay second one = ASIC = now a delay from ?7 mpnth ? ( ict - May ) ?? |

und nur 6 Tage Später nicht mehr weiss wie viele es werden ...
danach sollte man ausgehen das es weniger als 5 werden ...

The Answer by the missing Chips....
There are some changes we are making to the metal layers to hopefully reduce power. In the meantime, we have several of the initial wafers that are going through packaging and we are dialing in the packaging so that our yield rate is acceptable... that takes time and the packaging house we were using is performing... less than adequately. We've changed packaging houses and the first chips off the line made it through today and the yield rate is @#$#@ spectacular and The Josh is pleased. Those chips should be making their way to the testing/binning facility and then on to Chicago on the 9th to be mounted. It's just another handful of chips to make sure everything is kosher as far as things go, and assuming all goes well, we should have a ton of ships queued up and ready to go once we are confident that the new packaging facility can get into gear. We are still chewing through the first 5 wafers, but slowly so we don't waste any more chips than we have to, while we dial in the packaging and substrate manufacture. I'm not sure how many of the 5 wafers have been used so far. The next 5 have some modifications which should be ready now I believe and the remaining wafers have some additional modifications in the metal layer to reduce power even further, so that will be the real interesting test once those arrive in KC.
After those chips, we have some more on order that have more substantial changes in the upper layers to further reduce power as well as several other irons in the fire, but all that is a couple months away, about the time we are ready for more chips and have worked our way through the first set.

So I heard one of BFL's wafers were broken and they're waiting on another batch. If this is true, it will add to the delays. Anyone know if this is true?
Yes, it's true. A sack of rice fell over in China and crushed the wafer. Dadadumm ... 5 Wafers = ~ 30 Jalapenos 60 Chips ^^ |
