821  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Freebits(.)Tk - Earn up to 20K satoshi per day! on: February 13, 2016, 07:52:44 PM
Why is the url butchered?  Did it get banned or something and you're trying to circumvent it by using the dot trick...

Also the pay is terrible, like really terrible as in not even remotely worth it.
822  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: new site for my friend (i'm not owner) 50 satoshi every 0 minutes on: February 12, 2016, 08:57:44 PM
50 is a bit low... Hope your friend increase rewards or add some % chance to earn a little more.
I think 50 satoshi is not very low reward.I think it is fair faucet.it's looking good Smiley

Yes, yes it is.  It's VERY low.  Who wants to do 20 captchas when there are sites that pay 1000 sat an hour to do just 1 captcha?
823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining on old PC? on: February 12, 2016, 04:16:40 AM
Mining with a normal desktop pc is far away from recommended. The calculating will destroy your pc running a faucetrotator will be more profitable.
Let me guess, and you have just the one you want to recommend right...

Nonsense.

Your hardware will be fine as long as you keep it properly cooled and don't force it to run outside of it's recommended specs, ie overclocking/over volting it into scrap.  Heat kills electronics so don't run stuff too hot and it will last a long time.
824  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Faucet - Plingeling - 700sat/hour/everytime on: February 11, 2016, 06:25:17 PM
wish their was a way to see that on the main page, that the limit has exceeded, instead of seeing it after filling the captcha and submitting for nothing.

Complain about this in the main faucetbox thread to the creator.  Many people have done so but he still hasn't updated the code.  If enough people say something I'm sure eventually something will be done about it.
825  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: List of Actively Paying Faucets to FaucetBox on: February 11, 2016, 06:18:54 PM
Faucetbox does have their own list on their site that they maintain and update.  Worth a look if you were unaware of it.

826  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Fuck Recaptcha Got bot attack on: February 10, 2016, 07:46:11 PM
both captcha are not good but solvemedia is better because within a second you can change dificullty level of captcha

A word to the wise for whoever is using Solvemedia.  Don't turn up the captcha to the highest difficulty.  The captchas it spits out look like a grabled mess and are nearly unreadable by humans.  I would say 1/10 a person can actually get correct.
827  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 4500 sat/5 minutes ! NEW on: February 10, 2016, 07:40:16 PM
SCAM ALERT
Site doesn't pay as everyone has mentioned already.

Most of the faucetfly sites are junk, but occasionally you'll come across one that does pay for a little while before it runs out. A few weeks ago there was one that was paying a sizeable amount for a few days, and the people who used it got pretty lucky.
828  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Https://bitcoinr.club - just launched, a-ads co-op = free passive btc! on: February 10, 2016, 07:35:04 PM
Clicked on the coinbase account link and shows a warning that the app will have access to detailed info of my funds... which is rather risky. I think I shall pass.

That's a good thought process to maintain.  There are scams everywhere.  Something accessing detailed account information like that, people should be wary of.
829  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Fuck Recaptcha Got bot attack on: February 10, 2016, 04:22:43 AM

But now no free FunCaptcha anymore. So which one is better for protection against bot attack SolveMedia or ReCaptcha?

AreYouHuman is still an option too that faucets are still using.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Ethereum Faucets Gone Scam? on: February 10, 2016, 02:36:35 AM
Has anyone been paid by these faucets recently? Usually payments were sent the next day and now it's been quite awhile since I received one.  My guess is the price of ETH soared and the site turned scam.

http://www.etherfaucet.org
http://www.ethereumfaucet.org

And this site was supposed to pay on the weekends, yet I haven't heard of anyone getting anything and there are no proofs on the site.  Also today my balance zerod out yet I didn't receive anything.

http://free-ethereum.com

Anyone have a different experience or can these sites be labeled scams now?
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: February 10, 2016, 02:31:10 AM
*EDIT*

Nevermind, I'm retarded.  I didn't realize you HAVE to keep some ether in your main account balance to be able to send currency from your wallet.
832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Heat Output of a Mining Rig on: February 10, 2016, 12:29:46 AM
When you have the miner to generate heat in winter, will you turn off the miner in summer? It might not ROI.
Yeah I plan to turn it off in the summer, but it's not that big of a deal.  We have fairly long winters here.  As long as nothing explodes on the rig it should be worthwhile money wise if it runs for a few years.  I'm kind of just thinking about doing it for the fun of it, not really expecting to become rich or anything.

A blinking ethernet light can also be really annoying.

I've subdued many a blinking light with black electrical tape over the years. lol

833  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Fuck Recaptcha Got bot attack on: February 09, 2016, 09:17:21 PM
Many times we just click on recaptcha & its done so we can claim easily without any verification.I still confused why this happens because other time it ask to click random 3-4 pics to pass.
You can just google a description of how Recaptcha v2 works and you'll get an indepth explanation.

Hah, you joking
recaptcha is a safest captcha system in the world
Every captcha has a flaw and Recaptcha is not the safest by far, it's been broken many times and needed updates.  There is a constant tug o war between google and crackers.

#3 Referal spam

Many faucets offer a bonus payment if you refer other users to it. Keep in mind that this board has a strict anti-spam policy. If you create a post for the sole purpose of posting a referral link it will get removed. If your member rank is high enough, you can use a ref link in your signature. If your post is only a reference to your signature its still considered ref spam though. Some cropped quotes from the admin that is going to ban you if you fail to understand this concept:

Do not make topics or replies just to share your referral link. Whether it's in your sig, avatar, personal message, profile, within the post itself, or tattooed on your forehead is irrelevant.

You are allowed to put your refferal link on your signature
So, when you make promotion, ask users to join through refferal link on your signature
And you might want to use link shortener, so every user can't know the refferal link

Any you should know it already when you join this forum

Still referral spam.

If you pay people to register under your ref link it works on games and rounds, also sometimes when people find new promos or giveaways they give their ref link and a non ref link, seems to be allowed aswell.

Still referral spam.

If this is true then why are all the faucet rotator posts allowed on this Microearnings subforum and not deleted?  Half this forum is just people constantly making new threads about their rotator which is just essentially a different why of them trying to get referrals.  They're not discovering anything new, everyone has the same faucets they're trying to get refs to.
835  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Fuck Recaptcha Got bot attack on: February 08, 2016, 10:25:12 PM
Guys have you ever though for multiple captcha to be solved before getting the award, maybe this is will be hard for bots?

It's harder for bots, but it's also harder or rather more annoying for people.  So it may stop bots but it also stops traffic as people stop using your site if they have to do too much work to get a few satoshi.  There is a fine line between bot protection and user usability.
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Heat Output of a Mining Rig on: February 08, 2016, 10:06:23 PM
All power usage of all computer hardware is entropic.

To have an equivalent of a 1500W heater, you would need a mining rig that uses 1500W (or two that use 750W each).

So you're saying the heat output would be equivalent as far as keeping a room warm goes?

While the heat output of a miner isn't equal to the electric input, it's close enough it MIGHT AS WELL be the same for practical purposes.

3 Antminer S5 would be a bit more than your 1500 watts, but if you downclock them a bit....

This is one way to achieve "effectively" free electricity, as long as you need the heat.

I assumed as much, thank you for the confirmation and feedback everyone.  Looks like a swap to a miner instead of generic electric heater isn't such a bad idea.
837  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Fuck Recaptcha Got bot attack on: February 08, 2016, 09:29:06 PM
i really like are you human captcha

You don't see that many sites using AreYouHuman.  It's a shame, I like that captcha out of all the available options the most.

I also like but someone said it also will stop working from march .

Yeah, they have an announcement on their blog. Aww, I really liked Are You a Human captchas.

"Really want to keep using PlayThru?"
"We do offer a few limited enterprise plans that start at $5,000 a month."

Lol, who is crazy enough to do that.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DCR] Decred - Hybrid PoW/PoS | btcsuite Devs | Tons of New Features | Go on: February 08, 2016, 07:26:31 PM
What options could I use to lower gpu load with cgminer?  I would prefer to not having it run @ 100% and set it on fire.

I couldn't find any documentation or another thread stricting discussing mining related issues.
839  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Flowbitcoin : minute faucet but pending so wait on: February 08, 2016, 02:28:31 AM
Doesn't it say payment every Friday right on their site?  If it hasn't been a week yet then I'm assuming you just have to wait.  You didn't really make it clear when you asking for a withdrawal in your first post.
840  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 33 Satoshis No Limit Faucet Spinner on: February 07, 2016, 11:17:20 PM
the rewards are very very good i must say..

No, no they're not.  Even if you had a bot to bypass recaptcha it almost wouldn't be worth doing...

So.... OP just embeds the faucet http://pluscoin.xyz/ on his website, then pass off his website as a faucet while earning from the referral?

Genius.

Yeah thanks OP, at least I got a decent laugh out of this thread.
