241  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any advice for a newbie? on: November 15, 2017, 08:15:11 PM
Put time into understanding trading.  On a time put in to profits earned ratio it's one of the most rewarding activities you can do online.  It can easily go from a part time hobby to a full time retirement if you're really good at it.

Everyone see how nice and calm this thread is now without a million different bums complaining about the faucet everyday.  Finally all talk can focus on forward progess of the coin.
243  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: November 14, 2017, 07:06:35 PM
It's time for decentralized exchanges to take over.
I've been waiting years for a quality decentralized exchange to show up that everyone could use, yet it still hasn't happened.  It would solve so many issues were are all facing once these centralized exchanges start doing whatever they feel like.
244  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] Bittrex - Next generation exchange (btc/ltc/eac/ppc/rdd/ftc/and more) on: November 14, 2017, 03:33:56 AM
I think there are no longer Legacy accounts on Bittrex.
Yeah I just noticed my Legacy account was changed to New and now the Daily Withdrawal Limit is 0.025 BTC.  If that's not some BS then I don't know what is.  Before the limit was 1btc.  It's going to take forever to withdraw my funds now, not to mention the 100k satoshi withdraw fee each time.

I'm done doing business with them.  Some kind of change like this deserves a notice or warning, I've had my account with them for years.  Needless to say I'm upset about it.
245  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitcoin Cloud Mining with HashFlare on: November 14, 2017, 03:21:18 AM
not only hashflare, but also other cloud mining sites might be scam. However hashflare is still paying. However I can not suggest it to anyone.
Pretty much every cloud mining site is a scam that already happened or will happen some time in the future.  People should know this going in and if they feel like they want to gamble getting a return before the admins disappear then that's on them.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 13, 2017, 11:49:49 PM
No I'm not following your crap coin on twitter or telegram or discord or facebook or whatever other site you're trying to drag personal info from me on.  How about you scam devs do an airdrop how an airdrop is supposed to be done.  You give coins to any interested party in the hopes of them being interested in the project enough so they later decide to invest more heavily.  It's supposed to be like a sample giveaway at a food store, they hope you like the taste.  Not like some kind of micro job where you have to jump through 10 hoops just to get something that is almost worthless.  Get out of here with that bs.

Hi Dev, Any plans to list this coin on a regular exchange, other than Etherdelta?

                     Wink
"
4. Working on adding to more exchanges"

So I'm guessing that's a yes.  This seems like a solid enough project that it could easily get listed on a major exchange at some point.
248  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 12, 2017, 11:11:27 PM
Thread still going strong  Grin
Not really.  All these airdrops now are pure garbage, clones of clones of clones with nothing worthwhile to offer.  I can't even remember when there was a non Eth token airdrop that was actually a solid project.  There have been a rare few eth tokens that actually could turn into something long term, but 95% of them if not more are useless and that's not an exaggeration.

I would much rather see only a few drops in month with projects that pan to something real vs the current spam flood.  Most of these ones now are just wasting everyone's time, only one benefiting is the dev with his scam scheme.
249  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: List of legit Crypto Airdrops on: November 11, 2017, 09:12:33 PM
I was doing sort of an experiment where I signed up for a shit ton of them... but now I'm getting that sick feeling too.  So I'm cutting way back.  I have to say though these airdrops are very educational and helpful to get proficient using eth contracts and to follow them on a block explorer.  I had used them before but when you are moving around airdrops that are almost worthless it's a lot easier to try various things out.  It also got me to use a decentralized exchange, EtherDelta, which was interesting, and something I might not have done otherwise.

But now it's just wash, rinse and repeat so time for a break.
Yeah I feel the same way.  It's gone past the point of being worth the time.  Most of them never pay out and even if they do the huge majority is worthless eth tokens that will never go anywhere.  The EthereumDark airdrop hooked me in because it was so profitable in such a short time and then everyone jumped on the bandwagon with their own crapcoin, but none of them came even close.
250  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 11, 2017, 08:14:13 PM
Joined 5 waves tokens airdrops by now and nothing at the moment. If one of them will arrive, that would be miracle. xD
Don't even bother with Waves tokens.  They're all pretty much pure garbage and worthless.  Instead of filling out forms, spending that time doing just about anything else is more worthwhile.
251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: November 11, 2017, 01:45:22 AM
IMO the next step if there is one to explore partnerships with companies, look at IOTA it has a lot going for it wit partnerships and thats what keeping it interested. If XRB can get a partnership from a reputed company it will pick up
I would agree.  Focus on that as well as getting added to an exchange that does consistently good volume.  That always brings more focus to a coin.  Rai has yet to be added to an exchange that most would deem "mid tier" yet.  It's a solid enough project so it shouldn't be an issue.
252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 10, 2017, 11:40:51 PM
im done with all  these shit tokens.
I'm starting to think the same thing myself.  Even submitting form info is a waste of time as little as it is because very few of them even bother sending you anything.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XRB]Cryptocurrency's killer app: RaiBlocks micropayments on: November 09, 2017, 03:19:37 AM
I've had some from the beginning when the faucet was giving away 200 per captcha.  Good things will come but we all pretty much knew this was a long time holder.
254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Autonio, Decentralized AI Trading System on: November 08, 2017, 03:56:00 AM
As I understood the Bot is doing automatically with a self learning ALGO.
It seems like it really works fine like u can see on the beta test.

This is one of the biggest undervalued underdogs on crypto for now.

Oh boy here we go, science fiction gave us warnings and we never listened.  Quick pull the plug before it becomes our new overlord!

Seriously though if the project can deliver on what it promises then this will be very interesting...
255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Unity Airdrop on: November 07, 2017, 06:14:52 PM
More airdrops with higher member requirements are the way to go, kudos to you dev and good luck on the project.  It's probably one of the best ways to limit people abusing the system by creating a bunch of new accounts.

Many newbies users are upset because they can't join but I wouldn't be surprised if most of those are clone accounts anyways.  Ever since this airdrop mania started there has been a huge influx of accounts suddenly popping up.  Higher requirements lets everyone know the dev is serious about the project and doesn't just want to dump his whole stash right away.
256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Finished-Airdrop][PoW][PoS] WACoins - Communities' coin on: November 06, 2017, 11:54:13 PM
It would be great to have another exchange together with Bisq. Sent you another suggestion on Slack.
I agree.  Honestly I've never even heard of Bisq, I had to go google it and looking at the volume numbers it does I can see why I haven't.

If you're going to shoot for lower tier exchange I would at least go for something on the level of a Cryptopia or the like.
257  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 06, 2017, 11:10:52 PM
Since I don't have that damn twitter account I can pretty much forget about 99% of those AirDrops? Smiley
I would say only about a 1/4 of them require some kind of twitter/telegram/facebook account.  Just make a junk one to be used specifically for airdrops, it's pretty quick and easy to do.

Did anyone else receive an email from alert@ether-delta. com that says someone tried to connect to your account and tells you to activate 2fa, and the link ask for your private key. I guess that's what happens when you give your email to anyone.
Yeah I got that email and a bunch of other people did too.  It's an obvious phishing attempt.  These scumbags never give up.
258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is DogeCoin even worth buying? on: November 06, 2017, 05:48:02 AM
It's very likely Doge sees another rise at some point in the future, when that is is anyone's guess.  The community support is still there for it so there is no real reason for it to randomly die off.  Buy it, go long, and check on it again sometime in the future when it's 5x.

we continue to get great feedback regarding the newsletter

As you should.  Progress updates are always welcome.  Every dev should do this as frequently as possible for their project, if for nothing else than to calm the impatient masses. lol

BTC is on an epic rise so it's no wonder every alt is down.  This is a great time to scoop up some XRB if you're going long.  It's around 1k sat, if you think it will never go higher than that again then you're crazy.
260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: November 01, 2017, 10:37:42 PM
It's a lot more helpful to post the actual links to the coin's ANN than posting random google doc links.
