1041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v10.0 (Windows/Linux) on: September 24, 2017, 07:56:09 AM
Is there a limit for Claymore miner 10?  I'm mining ETH.  I have 5 GTX 1070s, and 6 RX 580s.  5 GTX and more than 3 RX hangs.  On the other hand, 5 RX and 4 GTX works fine.  Adding 1 more GTX hangs.  Anyone have idea on this?

You may need to underclock.

1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Burnt PCIE Slot and riser on: June 25, 2017, 06:53:45 AM
omg ... it is  not "bad luck " from how you described and from what it is shown on the picture ..... just do yourself a favour and change your project.... if you dont have enough brain to cope with an intuitive proces such as installing the risers it means this kind of stuff is not made for you.

How could one possibly install in reverse a friggin riser.....

That happens to many people in the forum.
1044  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: My RX580 Benchmarking and Results: 30.5Mh/s @ 77.5W (+ 1130MH/s Dcr w/ 125W) on: April 24, 2017, 05:11:42 PM
So my Sapphire Nitro+ RX580 Limited Edition cards came in today

Did you buy $279 version on Newegg?

Yep thats the one

Never understood why people buy the 480/580 for a $100 premium when you can pick up the 470/570 for 170-180 and it hashes the same.

They have higher resale value.
1045  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: March 01, 2017, 05:56:05 PM
To me there is still not any opportunity legit enough that induce me to invest my Bitcoins. Bitcoins are very prone to scam, once you send Bitcoin to someone, you can't claim it back unless one personally know the receiver. So better stay away from Bitcoin investments, soemething relatively better is altcoin investment, trading, etc.

Bitcoin investments doesn't necessarily means transferring your Bitcoins to another person or business but by just keeping your bitcoins in bitcoins and hoping for a price increase is another form of investment and it is risk free.

That is what I am doing. I hold bitcoins since early days.
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me a secret: any way to earn 0.1 BTC per week? on: February 22, 2017, 04:43:52 PM
I think there is not a thing that should be kept secret when it generates 0.1 btc per week. with the trade, you could produce 0.1 btc even more. you have to master is the analysis and market issues.

Yeah there are no more secrets on how to earn 0.1 BTC since everything are already exposed with the use of internet. There are step by steps and tutorials we can use for earning this amount weekly. But some of it are not just steps by they are real ways of earning and you need to work harder for it whatever is the way you'll use.
With the way that information can easily be access now there is no excuse for us not to get that amount we wanted, if we will strive hard and be smart enough that is always doable in our part. As suggested by the many, you can try different online jobs that pays bitcoin and you can try to use your bitcoins in trading to maximize your income. It's very simple and no need to think complicated on this one.

A lot of jobs you can prefer to do and get paid with bitcoins but some of the people here are working as freelancers and they are earning as high as 0.1 BTC depending on their rate with their employer. But the more source of income, that will be the best way to earn this amount. Also if you are living in a country that has cheap electricity rate, mining will help you.

Just do a day job, and convert some fiat into bitcoin.
1047  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: January 04, 2017, 08:44:24 AM
We are already there as more and more ordinary people come to buy and use bitcoin. I can see on Facebook now most of my friends want to own and earn bitcoin, where as two years ago I  was one of the only people on my FB profile who knew what bitcoin was lol.  Smiley

What did you do to encourage your friends to own bitcoin?

What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000?

Let's discuss.

For sure spread of the word and better known of it from the people. This is happen to Chine and thanks God china is a big country. This made true your desire. Today bitcoin is a little much more than 1000 us dollar and hopefully will continue this way even for some or much more time.

The China is the biggest market for the bitcoin at the moment. If they use a lot, that is very good for the bitcoin price.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zCRASH or zMOON? on: December 13, 2016, 01:54:46 PM
As we know, ZCash is pumping hard since the last insane crash, it bottomed at around 0.7 BTC, right now its up 215%

http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/zcash/

What do you think will happen next? we will continue to pump or we will start descending again?

What is the total supply of ZEC to ever exist and what is the inflation rate?

Zcash crash and now zcash price only range 0.07 - 0.10
very bad crash, your write in november zcash price 0.7 bitcoin, and now value only 10% or down 70%
bad inflation because zcash price is full control founder, fee mined in have founder 20%

The price should be around $50 any way. The initial price of more than the bitcoin price was not realistic.
1050  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: zCRASH or zMOON? on: December 04, 2016, 05:06:22 PM
if anybody wants to understand what the meaning of a bubble is they can understand it clearly by only looking at price charts of ZCash, this coin has been the clear image of a bubble from the very start and this bubble has been bursting ever since the first day it hit the market.

my speculation is a continued drop until final death and with the big mining reward and them dumping on the market and the follow up panic sales it will continue to be bad.

The ZCash is quite unique. You can have both anonyous or non anonyous address. So it might be in demand for some people.
1051  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: R9 Nano Modded Rom on: November 14, 2016, 04:45:11 PM
Folks, with stock ROM the Nanos hash at 100 H/s with Claymore 4.0. I have undervolted core by -72mV in Trixx and they still draw 200W each (on a rig of 4, total draw from wall incl. 1820 CPU = 800W)
With -li 2 they do 75 H/s at 160W (640W total a rig of 4 incl 1820 CPU), which I prefer for my rigs, though it means quite a bit less in profit.

What is your maximum speed at the latest Claymore V5? Have you tried the tight timing bios supplied?
1052  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: November 07, 2016, 03:06:59 PM
i think its good time to hold your bitcoin because are going to increase more and more and i also hold my bitcoin for the future and i am sure i will be get a big profit from bitcoin in the near future from bitcoin.

According to the past history, it is fine to hold the bitcoin for the long term if you do not buy at the bubble time.
1053  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: October 19, 2016, 07:52:13 AM
Investing your bitcoins is the best idea you can have i think tat allof of people will invest their coins becuas investing your money will cause allot of moneyu ytou know and that
is really nice making money!!

Where do you invest the bitcoins? There are too many HYIP sites out there but most of them are scams.
1054  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: October 07, 2016, 04:44:52 PM
I will always prefer to invest them on trading sites and may be in future I will try to invest in casino sites but still I am not aware about it so I am preferring to stay away from and will only invest if I have completed faith in it.

Same here, if i would get to know everything about those casino investments then i would also do some investments with them if i could know the system how they works and how you can get profits from it or on what percentage.

Invest in it only if you have good knowledge of it and if not then its better to invest in something that you can  handle it effectively or else it will make you loose everything that you have.

Yes precisely this is what you should do.  If you are interested in an investment program, you must research the company first, stability, the compensation program, people behind, legal documents and even their products.  With this you can at least lessen the risk of you being scammed.

That is right. The same principle applies to the investment of the altcoins, You need to only buy good coins.
1055  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: September 14, 2016, 08:11:47 AM
Thanks for the list, I have invested in some sites you referred above and experience was more than average. I believe in spending rather than investing because spending creates a movement of currency and that helps in growth of user base. I am not against investment but I focus on spending bitcoins instead of fiat in my day to day life but unfortunately, no merchant in my city is accepting bitcoin right now so my whole spending is online.

I have also invested in some sites. But I mainly deposit my bitcoin in the HaoBTc. It is a mining operation.
1056  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v6.4 (Windows/Linux) on: September 01, 2016, 01:02:52 PM
Anyone running 5 or 6 GPU NVIDIA 1070 rigs?  I can get it to hash at proper speed now but they will start crashing if I run more than 3 per Rig.

The 1070 needs about 150W each from the wall. So if you have 6 cards, you need at least 1100W power supply.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: August 03, 2016, 09:47:05 AM
Yes Bitcoin is anonymous for me because no one knows whose address is in that transaction secondly you can make another
address to send a payment which adds to anonymity of bitcoin lastly no more personal details can be use to make online purchases
unlike debit/credit card.

For my usage, as I only use the bitcoin for legitimate transactions, the bitcoin is anonymous enough for me.
1058  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - Time to buy? Time to sell? on: July 21, 2016, 11:04:04 AM
i think its good time to buy more bitcoin because bitcoin rise up its price too much faster day by day and bitcoin will be more stronger and powerful currency in the world than other currency .

The bitcoin price should rise in the next few years when more people start to use it, so it is better to buy now.
1059  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN - Time to buy? Time to sell? on: July 06, 2016, 03:24:09 PM
Its not really the time to buy right now with holding you can way more profit right now, due to the fact of the halving.
What people said about the halving is also true buying right now will not provide you a lot of money.

I think the price will not drop due to the halving. It might raise the price slight soon after the halving event.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Anonymous Enough For You? on: June 22, 2016, 10:00:36 AM
Would you, if asked, personally consider Bitcoin anonymous enough for your needs? Does it lack privacy features? Would you consider Bitcoin anonymous, semi-anonymous or transparent?

Do you want an anonymous crypto currency?

I think bitcoin anonymous enough for me, because I am dealing with bitcoin without being able to be tracked. But you have to use it addreas bitcoin only one of each transaction to keep your anonymous. Thank you

There is much more to bitcoin anonymity, than just changing addresses. But using one address for each transactions is a good start.

When I receive funds for different sources, I use the different address. When I pay, I try to use a single address.
