201  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: December 19, 2016, 02:28:56 PM
Each and every day the so called investment sites are appearing offering people incredible profit. So, be careful if it sounds too good to be true, then probably it isn't so stay away from it. Many offers sound tempting but think with your own head. It's better to go for low but secure profit then losing everything.

It is better not to invest in those sites.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: November 29, 2016, 08:13:19 AM
Many people believe that a secure investment is to hold the bitcoins. No, bitcoins is money. Like as fiat money his price has up and down. Bitcoin's drawback till now is the big volatility compared to fiat money. This may be change in near future as the maturity of bitcoin increases over the time. Investments is the same as fiat too. Instead of deposit fiat you deposit coins. The same with withdrawal.

If bitcoin is experiencing price swings relative to any other currency, that makes it an opportunity to increase your value, regardless of whether you consider bitcoin to be money or not. Those two things, bitcoin being an investment and bitcoin being "money," are not mutually exclusive.
They are both currency and investment for me, but I am taking it more like an investment as the price swings big and I can predict the movement to make money in trading, in addition I can hold it for longer investment.
like I do, because bitcoin is not too provides convenience for shopping, so I'm using bitcoin to invest.
The most often I do is invest in PTC and trade

It is possible to use the bitcoin to buy online goods. I can use the bitcoin to buy graphics cards to mine coins.
203  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: November 22, 2016, 08:41:15 AM
Maybe we can apply the saying, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket." in here. Invest some of your bitcoins in the hot altcoins and then keep an eye on the market of that coin. I don't recommend investing in cloud mining sites for obvious reasons but if you really do want to do mining, then I suggest that you buy your own mining rig. You can also invest in new gambling sites and startup projects.
I think it's not a problem to keep all your money in bitcoin, I believe that bitcoin has a great future, and while I still have the capital so that I do is invest into bitcoin, and in fact I was always profit

Even if you are sure that bitcoin will have a very high price in the future, it is not advisable to put it all on bitcoin. It is better to invest on other investment platforms too or other coins that has a very good value. So if ever bad things happen to bitcoin, you do not lose everything and your other investments will save your finances.

It is better to put no more than 20% of your wealth in bitcoin now. But in a few years, that will increase to 90%.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: October 26, 2016, 07:33:50 AM
Investing with your bitcoins is the best thing you can do becuase i know for sure wehn you are investing withthe bitcoin you will make allot of money you know
when the price is rising you only will make more money !!!

If you look at the track record of the bitcoin price. It rises all the time apart from the big bubble in 2013.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: October 21, 2016, 07:30:42 AM
Investing your bitcoin takes a risks, anyway all investments
are in risks. But, its a matter of how you manage your money
well. It's a good idea also that you invest your bitcoins like
trading, and other investment sites

I think investing in trading is better then investing in any investment sites as we don't know how long those sites will survive and if it disappears in future then it will bring huge loss for us resulting in loosing our investments.

Trading is not investment, its a job. Investing is put your money for work and get return from them. And some people use trading as gambling and think they are skilled because they profit until they lose alot.

If you will go for trading without any knowledge and skills depending only on luck for making profits then there will be no difference in trading and gambling and you will surely loose at the end of the day.

For the bitcoin, there is no need to do a lot of trading. You just buy some bitcoin and hold, the price will rise.
206  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: October 05, 2016, 04:36:49 PM
Investing your bitcoins is always a good idea i dont think there are many people who dont think like this because investing bitcoins is always great idea to make nice money.

Investment can give us good profits in future if we invest them at a right place but at a moment its very difficult to find any legit site whom we can trust to invest our bitcoins.

If you have some bitcoins, it is better to hold them for some time. If you really want to invest, buy some good altcoins.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: September 16, 2016, 05:04:39 PM
I am not sure I can define ethereum price as a bubble, one thing is sure, it was hyped a lot more then it deserve but the DAO fiasco stopped insane hype, if it was not stoped it easy could be 50-100$ with the right plan using smart contract as ponzy, that was main goal of original DAO

For now i could see a big problem when they try to push POS update, it will be technical problem and the lose of trust from miners, sure they can try to pump, but it will prolly crumble in the dust

After the DAO fiasco, the Ethereum price is more reasonable. So I think it is not in the bubble phase any more.
I am shocked that anyone still willing to put money at risk there. Anyone know if developers fixed that problem and side chain alts based on ETH can't be hacked again?
I was off the loop for some quite time.

It might be safe not to buy the Etheruem a few days ago. But the Etheruem price is rising now. Any reason for that?

Is it just me, or does anybody else feel that ethereums price is largely the result of manipulation?

After the reality check of the risks of how dumb (as in complicated switch dumb) a smart contract is, the price should be way lower than during the skynet and worlds biggest supercomputer hype. The ethereum price during the comedy caper act of white hackers and such, looked completely unnatural. Even the current price doesn't seem to reflect the realization of the risks and limitations of ethereum.

Also the transition from code is law to a permissioned/censored system with a fork should have had some influence on the market, or is that just me being delusional in thinking a fundamental change in philosophy is a kinda big deal, maybe even an existential one?

it might be, ethereum is really high at the moment while the real eth, etc is going down and down, i think we might expect a big pump in etc soon

There is possibility that the ETC will be pumped a lot in the next few days before the final dump happens duce to the dump of big holders.

Somebody said the Ethereum Foundation is short of development funds at the moment. So it might have to sell the ETC.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: August 08, 2016, 07:04:13 AM
ETH is not a bubble. But yes there were many detractors hating on BTC when it was $14.

Eth is not a bubble. But the ETC, Ethereum Classic is a bubble at the moment. It is better to sell it to the buyer.

The ETC price is dropping at the moment. Maybe investors are worried the DAO hacker will dump his coins.

The ETC price is rising again, it seems it still has some big whales in the support. It might survive for some time.

In the short term, say for three weeks, the ETC might survive. But in end of August, the DAO hacker will get his ETC, so it might be different.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: July 25, 2016, 05:18:14 PM
Ethereum Classic seems to be really picking up, now over 10% of the market cap of Eth with hash rate picking up. Promises to be both volatile and exciting in coming days.
guys I guess you are killing eth, if you go on with 2 chains...

There is no need to worry about that. The DAO hacker will kill the Ethereum Classic for us, there is no doubt.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: July 09, 2016, 10:24:28 AM
Not sure. I think Factom has a better chance. Ethereum need a new price discovery after HF. Might take some time

Ethereum now has lost its image after its hack, people will now never trust on it and will never invest too much in there, so the chances of the establishment if ethereum is much lesser.

If the Ethereum recover from the hack due to the community support and vote by the miners, it will be stronger.
213  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: June 26, 2016, 03:53:35 PM
Despite what everyone says it being a bubble.
It seems like ETH has found a solid baseline https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/ethereum/usd
the price now seems to be stable and what people perceive as fair.

The price is quite solid at the moment. It seems it either has a good community support or many rich investors.
214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: June 09, 2016, 03:32:23 PM
The Ethereum price is very high at the moment. Many people think it will drop below $10. Why so strong?

The miners are not selling the Ethereum because they think the price will go higher. The volume is low.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: May 27, 2016, 05:59:22 AM
All the major altcoins's price are dropping at the moment. That is mainly due to the rise of the bitcoin price.
216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Eth will skyrocket the next days on: May 20, 2016, 04:38:35 PM
That prediction was very accurate. But the price is going down now. It dropped from 0.034 to 0.03 now.
217  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who will be selling at 450 range (today) on: May 07, 2016, 10:32:28 AM
It would be better if you are selling it later with a higher value so the chance is also higher that you can earn more money with it and that would be nice for yourself.
and the most people are hoping that the value will be more worth in the future so they can sell it with a huge profit.

I think it is a good price to buy below the $450. The price was kept down by big whales who want cheap coins.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who will be selling at 450 range (today) on: April 22, 2016, 11:42:03 AM
Price today was at $424 and dropped now to $417, even though it is near (not to far) from $450, I don't have any plan to sell at this price, i expect to sell higher and probably after halving when the price should be increased a bit.

We have seen this happen a lot. When the price tends to go up a bit, a dump pops up making the price go lower again. At the moment it's only a few bucks, but it also happened when we were above $450. The price was dumped down to lower $400's shortly after that.
but I guess this is not the right time to sell bitcoin. maybe if bitcoin until the price of $ 450, the price may still be raised to a higher price. I will not sell my bitcoin in the price of $ 450 because I think it's just getting a little profit

Truly selling your bitcoin at a price higher than $400 surely gives you a good profit, right now most had suggested to hold just for the reason of halving. On halving you might experience a very good profit than selling now.

People buy or trade for bitcoins in many different rates and selling for $400 each brings no profit to them. Everything 500 and up should be considered a small/good profit but i hope too that the price will be increased at the halving.

I think we will see some type of bullish rally going back and forth after the halving..

But it`ll eventually come around to that price range of being the new norm of $500.

For the time being, the new norm is $450. If the price stays around $450 for some time, and does not drop below $430, it is good for the future price.
219  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who will be selling at 450 range (today) on: April 01, 2016, 01:26:07 PM
I'm not selling them at that price, the price is just too low to make a good amount of profit in my opinion.
So overall I would not sell them right now also with the halving in our sight its not very handy to do right ?

The only people that are gonna sell them right now are people that are already not believing in the uᴉoɔʇᴉq anymore.
Its not smart to sell them right now because there is a good and I mean good chance that the price will rise later this year, there are some signs and the uᴉoɔʇᴉq is growing everyday all over the world.
Not also in believing some of them are converting in Athereum because of the price is low and now the price is increasing.. honestly i will never convert my uᴉoɔʇᴉq into other altcoin.. uᴉoɔʇᴉq is enough to make profit...

I might trade a very small proportion of bitcoin with altcoins. But I will not convert most of bitcoin to other coins.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: March 08, 2016, 08:40:05 AM
the Ethereum price might be high at the moment. But that is supported by strong community and continuous development.
