It was a solid performance by Arsenal and they destroyed West Ham by a 2-0 result in Emirates Stadium. They took control of the match early and kept their dominance till the last moment. West Ham were even more helpless after getting the red card while there were twenty minutes to go. The score shouldn't mislead people. Arsenal would have scored more if they were better at finishing.
Indeed Arsenal was very good and wrongs herself with the scoreline. In any case, they got the three points with a very good performance, and climb to 4th place. With they earlier performance, I doubt that someone expects that.
At least these two teams are the matches that I plan to bet on in today's parlay, I agree about Everton too and although in the last 5 matches Chelsea didn't look perfect but in today's match with opponents who also don't look good, then of course Chelsea have a big chance to win. But I think the victory that may be won by Chelsea today is just a win with a reasonable score, not like a win with a big score like Manchester City, who won 7-0 yesterday. But Frankfurt got a red card in the 70th minute. This could be a hope for Gladbach to score the equalizer and get at least one point after the remaining minutes. But maybe Frankfurt can secure the current score and win this.
It was a disaster game for Gladbach, pure and simple. They score first an early goal, in their home, and they manage to lose. For me, it was a surprise but that's the game. But I have seen their head to head statistics in the last match. Frankfurt have failed to win any of the last five matches between the two teams. Gladbach has won 3 matches. That tennis result of Manchester City I doubt anyone would have predicted such a score before the game.Leeds usually plays in attack but yesterday they completely forgot that were playing against a team which is a "goals machinery" if you leave them space and that is what happened yesterday.Now they have time until the Champions direct elimination stage and they were fully focused yesterday so that brought that many goals in for them.
Personally, I didn't predict this scoreline, but I was pretty sure that Man City will score at least 3 goals. Along with Aston Villa's clear win, my parlay was a winner and IMO that counts the most.
Today's matches are tough to predict and bet on something. Brighton wants the win against Wolves but I'm not sure that they can make it. Crystal Palace wants the same against Southampton, as Burnley versus Watford. Most likely, I will bet for Burnley's win, Arsenal's win as well, and Crystal Palace to score 2+ goals. If we talk about the domestic championship, then maybe yes, but if we talk about European competitions, I would rather say that there are no more strong teams left in Italy and I think the first knockout rounds will confirm this. However, I will hope that Napoli will be able to beat Barcelona. And I'm glad that Mourinho's team finally won and caught up with Juventus (though this is not a race for the championship ). Spezia has only won three games this season and lost ten games so there is no magic the will adopt to hold down Roma for a draw because it's too impossible for spezia to get a win. United has enough roster talent to challenge anyone, they have the team to beat all the other smaller clubs and dominate them if they can, and they have the roster to fight against the likes of LFC or City as well. Sure it is not easy to do that, but I am not saying they will win, or they may win, all I am saying is that they shouldn't lost 5-0 to begin with, their team is much better than that and getting that result was humiliating and totally beneath them.
So Ragnick doesn't even need to do much, he just needs to make sure he utilizes the roster properly and he could just let the boys get their win on their own without too much limitation. I still doubt that a team that finished third last season could end up being out of top three when they added Ronaldo and Sancho on the same team, just doesn't make sense for them to be any worse, even you and I could have get them to a decent place.
The same way of thinking has the Man Utd management when they sign Ole. That they won't need any experienced manager because the team has more than enough "talent". It turns out though that this isn't the right approach if you want to make a great team. Today Man Utd gets lucky and fortunate to have DeGea with steady hands otherwise things will be different. |

What a game it is! The score of Espanyol v Levante match is 4-3 now. Levante got ahead two times but still Espanyol were there to turn the game around. And right after Espanyol's 4th goal, Levante got a red card. And things are even more difficult for them. At this point, I guess that Espanyol would secure the win. But it is a really superb game to be remembered.
The game ended in a full rodeo mode!!!  It's like both teams wanted only to attack, defence was completely out of the picture. To be honest, I like these games but I didn't expect Levante to be so eager and confident upfront. Even this way, I get my first match for today. So far, so good... |
