2241  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Can you help me to check my faucet??? I have confusion about my faucet... on: June 28, 2016, 06:27:48 PM
After claim, I get the message "Could not open socket"

Every thing is working at my side so I think it must be you.
Always good idea to post browser type and version along with OS.

Site is a little overloaded with colourful signs/neons, IMO it is to messy, noisy.
Simplicity and elegance is the key OP.
The fonts are to big, on smaller screens (phone) it will be a nightmare to use.

Rewards (most importance) are small Sad 30 minutes for 30 satoshi wont convince
people to visit regularly. Offer like 100sats minimum.

To many ads alamin99, 29ads+your graphics+video=horrible browser load.
You really want to overheat peoples computers dont ya? Cheesy
Whole case of a faucet is to earn BTC relatively cheap, without powerful equipment.
2242  Other / Meta / bitcointalk.org forum scary poll on: June 28, 2016, 03:46:12 PM
Just a little pool to check fear levels regarding different scenarios.
If you ask me,  unfair accusations Smiley are scary.

Edit: OK guys, topic will be locked, like you suggested.
        Voting chart still active.
2243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China to make Bitcoin (virtual properties) a civil right. on: June 28, 2016, 01:36:40 PM
Isn't it strange that of all things, communist country like China recognises
and empowers bitcoin among citizens?
Country that hardly cant accept private property in its ideological core, establishes
bitcoin laws and recognises it, allowing for people to have them...
Is there some government agenda? All the coins from china belong to state?
2244  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie need a good advice on: June 28, 2016, 08:23:25 AM
You have no money to buy bitcoin, that's understandable, nothing wrong with that.
You have no skills or you just think you don't Sad
Telling us that signature is not worth your effort, that faucet micro-earnings are completely beyond your interest...
So you basically asking us to direct you to magical money generator?
Let me enlighten you, there is no such thing. You want some BTC, this is the right place to look for them. Just embrace your patience, build yourself a nice account and join some
signature. I'm sure that in time you will find things you can make bits on. Its not that hard for example to use gimp (free graphic program), there are many contest for logos or banners here. Educate yourself about BTC and helping others with your post will get you some bits as well.
Heard about hashocean scam? This is what you get when in searching of money generators.
2245  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: To add insult to injury to all hashocean users... on: June 28, 2016, 08:01:09 AM
Its funny that people come here after they where scammed.
Not a single bell in their mind rung when they where "investing" for impossible profits.
How hard it was to check this site before? It was known allover the place about that
company.
I'm not even sorry for those who got cheated. Its your own greed, its your fault.
Such scam's will flourish until people understand that just like ordinary money, bitcoin don't grow on trees.
Use google before investing! Use your head as well.
Hundreds of willing to advise lads on this forum could save you the nerves and money...
but you just dint care.

2246  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: An idea I have, is it worth it? on: June 27, 2016, 12:45:45 PM
I see it this way:

-Mysterious box with unknown amount of BTC in it . (maybe more than one box?)
-Fixed bid increase for everyone.
-Highest bid wins the Mystery box + his bid - fee for the site (25% of the bid)
-All losers get their bids back -10 satoshi

This is the only way that thing may work.
Stays fair, quite clear and I think attractive.

Problems:
Blockchain transaction fee.
Whale flooding your auctions.
Bids higher than winnings, 25% fee higher than winnings-->gambling
2247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet is Watching on: June 27, 2016, 11:33:15 AM
Take one step back. Is this correct:
- you used to use multibit HD
- you have the multibit seed
- you tried to restore your wallet by pasting the multibit seed in the electrum restore box?

I'm sorry, but this does not work i'm afraid...
What you can do to switch to electrum:
- download multibit HD
- restore multibit HD with your seed
- generate a new electrum wallet (write down the new seed)
- create a transaction from your multibit HD to electrum, using all inputs (empty out your wallet)
- use electrum from now on
- allways keep the multibit HD seed... Don't destroy private keys in case you ever need them

The fact electrum tells you it's wath only means: you either restored your wallet by entering your addresses OR the xpub. Neither of those will work...

And one more thing to add to this good tutorial is not to be cheap with transaction fee. It is advised even by multibit wallet to send tiny transaction first, just to be sure everything is OK. Double check.
After that send all your coins with good fee to ensure fast confirmation.
I would say that 20-50satoshi per byte will be good.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you already lose with this method? on: June 27, 2016, 04:49:57 AM
You will lose in the long run if you keep doing it. I tried it with 97% I lose in my first roll.

You have big chance in winning if use martingale and have big capital.

No, sorry but you are wrong. Martingale + big capital still equals to slim chances for success. This method was long (17century) proven to be a miss and a gambling trap.
In the long run you always at lost position.
You can however minimise the loses thanks to my observations, always gamble (dice)
when traffic is low. I noted better results at weird hours, like 10 AM during the week, or any hour when sites traffic was very low.

2249  Economy / Auctions / Re: Banner ad on my site ending sun 26th 8pm UKtime on: June 26, 2016, 07:12:15 PM
I bid 2001 satoshi
Now you know OP what happens when bid increase limit is not set.
I was going to bid a little more but was also afraid to be accused of spamming
in my signature campaign...
And biding against Mr funny 1 satoshi man Wink was kinda going the spammy path.
Maybe next month? tinny bit cleaver auction please.
2250  Economy / Auctions / Re: Banner ad on my site ending sun 26th 8pm UKtime on: June 26, 2016, 05:48:23 PM
I can bid 2000 satoshi
2251  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: June 26, 2016, 05:29:06 PM
There are like open soul people who think that money is just an instrument, they are spending it on right and left and don't see the reason to save for the future, for "the black day". I'm not one of them, my salary is medium in my city, and I even don't remember did I ever stayed tips in a restaurant. I like to save money for the future and for travelings. All my finances are shared like that: for use, for travel, for the future.
And in my opinion, those open soul people you are talking about are in fact women.
Course not all of them, that would be ridiculous, unfortunately 75% of them are materialistic.
This means that more value for them is presented by things not money that you can buy those things with.
This may be just our behavioural leftover from caveman times. Men hunt (earn cash)
woman gathers(things) and utilizes that what man brings in to the household.
If its nature than nothing wrong with that but to some extent .
Every form of extreme will be harmful. Evolution baby! dont miss it!
2252  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashocean-More than 3mln USD made on: June 26, 2016, 04:41:49 PM
I was playing the investigator from the last few hours after I found that they got scam and here you have an address which received funds from them and received more than 5700 BTC or equal to more than 3 mln USD.

https://blockchain.info/it/address/15bNwqC25FtG6b3igwaT9kapma1keq9mj6

What do you guys think ? They won an enormous amount of money from idiots who deposited money into them.

Yes, I think this is exactly what happened. That was known for some time that this company has no real machines in their possession.
They waited for BTC boom, gathered as much users assets  as they thought they can and vanished. Simple.
Now, we will observe how they try to dodge the responsibility. Lousy excuses, "we where hacked" going to appear and so on.
Only a law suit will get investors their money back, luckily some country's allow mass lawsuits, so there is a chance to get your 10 dollars back:)
2253  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I had a epiphany about Blocksize on: June 26, 2016, 02:12:19 PM
Hi. Welcome on forum.
As a new user You must be informed that writing long, personal stories is not welcomed.
Ask your self, what do we care about you being law student, why do we need information
about your bro etc... its pointless. (I'm not aggressive here, just informing)

As to your epiphany, it's not mandatory to happen. All depends on how the market will look in say 10 years. May be that no significant block enlargement will be needed, because of low adoption rate. Sure it will improve on confirmations and stuff, but you dont fix things that work OK. Better is an enemy of good.
2254  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: FAUCET BUCKET UP TO 5000 SATOSHIS EVERY 6 MINUTES on: June 26, 2016, 01:53:29 PM
Good rewards. Faucet itself is nothing extraordinary, just a simple
template. Works like a charm.
Appreciated that its not overloaded with popups and huge banners.
Lottery ticket is a bit expensive, nevertheless idea for it is OK.

Got a 1000 sats in second claim, so the probability of higher scores must be good Smiley
If you could state what are those chances for 5K that would be great.

Good luck with this FaucetBucket!
2255  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Giving Away 0.001BTC to 10 people (just like that) on: June 26, 2016, 01:37:10 PM
1Rtyee61fUT2FgWkU1LT1SGacHnk5kugJ      Thanks in advance!

A recent scientific study showed that out of 2,293,618,367 people, 94% are too lazy to actually read that number.

What is EDM?
2256  Other / Meta / Re: images not showing up? on: June 26, 2016, 12:49:05 PM

2257  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Google proves Brexit is just a dumb and emotional action on: June 26, 2016, 11:18:41 AM
http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/leave-remain-brexit-uk-google-trends-what-is-eu-european-union-referendum-what-happens-now

"What is the EU?" is the second top UK question on the EU since the #EURefResults were officially announced

Voters on the day of the referendum were uninformed and didn't take into consideration the real situation. I'm not saying it's why there was a Brexit, because nothing proves that people voting "leave" were the most googling this questions (no data can exist on such affirmation).
It just proves that Britains were not informed on the day they voted, that they didn't grasp the importance of the situation and that they made a hastly, unthought decision.

But we don't know how many specific query's there actually was.
There could be like 1000 of them or 10K or maybe 5... Those charts prove nothing.
Without specific numbers your claims are just good as predictions for etherum...
Bad thing is that you are not wrong, of course majority of people dont give a dime about current geopolitical situation. Why? Because is very hard and the amount of data is overwhelming for one person.
2258  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for ideas to make bitcoin betting website more popular on: June 25, 2016, 04:20:50 PM
There is no point of promoting your site from user standpoint at least.
Why? Because the is no referral commission of any sort.
So that would be tip nr1: include some sort of referral system with nice banners (simple, like your site, which I do like) Sure they will come after that.

tip nr2: blunt description of that game players suppose to play. Kinda mysterious...

2259  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Do you still believe in ponzi sites or investment site..?? on: June 25, 2016, 03:58:46 PM
Hi guys just want to know some opinion from you guys do you still believe in ponzi or investment site.Huh
Most of them are scam they are just run bitcoins in few days after lure people to invest they run all..

What do you mean still? This forum is an enclave of sane and clever people.
As I remember those kind of sites where always, always boycotted  heavily.
ScamPolice, ScamHunters, always active with their warnings and red-flagging
hoax sites and users.
I can bet that nobody above Jr. member felt in to ponzi trap.

Przedstawiamy Wam infografikę, na której wyjaśniliśmy jak działa nasz serwis i przekazywanie dotacji na rzecz organizacji charytatywnych.
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Cj93bYNWkAAQ2em.jpg:large

Działalność charytatywna jak najbardziej godna pochwały! Nigdy za wiele tego typu akcji.
Moim zdaniem powiększenie, poszerzenie listy odbiorców datków jest więcej niż koniecznością. Przede wszystkim dodać by należało organizacje z naszego podwórka.
Być może nawet odbiorców prywatnych takich jak rodzinne domy dziecka, fundacje itp.
Nie trudno znaleźć w sieci budzące zaufanie polskie ogłoszenia, prośby o darowiznę.

A sam pomysł nagradzania, cash-back fajny Smiley oby więcej.
