2561  Economy / Services / Re: ICOHunter.io [Logo Contest] [0.1BTC/~$40] [Escrowed] on: April 09, 2016, 07:08:15 PM

Added some glass effect and tiny address icohunter.com. Its not visible in this small preview.
Logo looks kinda cool on dark/grey backgrounds, You can check it here http://imgur.com/kChC20A
All the elements are separate layers, very easy to customize to your liking.
2562  Economy / Services / Re: ICOHunter.io [Logo Contest] [0.1BTC/~$40] [Escrowed] on: April 09, 2016, 04:56:15 PM
So far managed to came up with this, maybe something clever will hit me.
-snip-

This looks better, but If I were you I'd do something about making the slogan "better" for lack of a better word.

You have: "scoping out for Your safety"
Maybe you should try doing something with the letter capitalization: "Scoping out for your Safety"
You are right. Capital "Y" in "your" is not from English language.
Sorry for that I'm not native speaker and in my language that kind of capitalisation
gives respect for the reader.
Those are very easy to fix so to avoid repetition of the same logo i will change that
in the next idea. Thanks for the tips.
2563  Economy / Services / Re: ICOHunter.io [Logo Contest] [0.1BTC/~$40] [Escrowed] on: April 09, 2016, 04:45:30 PM
-snip logo-

I like your logo a lot, it accurately explains what the site is about.
Maybe you could also somehow incorporate the fact that our site will be displaying different ratings on said ICO's such as user approval, scam ratings, and whatnot.

Hi
First entry for this contest.
Don't know why people waiting till end date.
If somebody posted first the idea is his/hers...
-snip-

Not the first entry, but it does look nice.
Also, if ideas are clearly and obviously duplicated, they will not be considered.

We realize there is a limited amount of ideas that can be done for this logo contest but intellectual plagiarism of a high magnitude will not be tolerated.
We will be lenient on this rule as we do realize there is only so much that can be done for this logo idea.

Smiley Hi i know its not first in general, i was talking it is my first entry.
"plagiarism of a high magnitude will not be tolerated"
Good you clear that out. Very healthy approach.
If You could state some tips what You like/dislike, what colours would be suite for you etc
about all logos we post. Would be helpful.

Ho, ho don't underestimate imagination of this forum users  Grin
I bet some crazy ideas are on the way.
2565  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoes dies for the 100th time! on: April 09, 2016, 03:52:17 PM
Yeah, this nonsense is bouncing like a ping-pong ball.
One douchebag after another is trying to be controversial, nothing more.
"Its irrelevant what they say, important that they do - there is no such thing as bad publicity"
This is the rule that this kind of people follow. Just to be considered active, just to pretend
that they know what is going on in the business.
I don't listen to them, I have my own truth, at least some form of it.
And so should You. Old CEO fag know shits Smiley

2566  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GEMZ] GetGems - Social Messaging App That Pays - Live on Android, iOS, Web on: April 09, 2016, 10:27:52 AM
If someone can write a step- by-step what will be the further development of GetGems ? What are the next dates?

You can read the Q&A at the start of this thread for the original roadmap that has since been abandoned.

Nobody can tell you what's coming next and when.

What we do know is that GG's continued development is hinged on the success of Paykey (their new project), such that PK will ultimately fund GG.

At the moment, the company is shopping PK around for further funding. If the VC's don't bite, both projects are likely dead.

Android app is bad anyway, let it die already.
Constantly sitting in the background eating over 30mb of RAM.
Has some weird connection/contradiction with adobe reader.
Built in faucet with 1gem per 24h is a joke.
And what is more important no body is using it. All the chats are bots, useless bots...
Lame and only thing that it deserves is deletion.
2567  Economy / Economics / Re: thought on wht bitcoin will buy in the future on: April 09, 2016, 08:47:03 AM
Hi.
As of today:
Indirectly it can buy almost everything available in online stores.
Some middleman service is required to do so but it is possible.
The future:
To be honest no idea what future await bitcoin, I think nothing extraordinary
will happen. Some price fluctuations rather small in fact.
Like #avikz said BTC is and will be equivalent of gold. Rare, mysterious
thing that awakens desire, greed and admiration.
Maybe little more spread throughout the peoples minds and wallets Smiley
2568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest bitcoin ponzi ever (?) shuts down. Farewell to MMM on: April 09, 2016, 07:46:00 AM
If somebody promises to give me 100% per month, come on, I have to be realistic.
There must be a catch. If I lose my money, it would be completely my fault and I could not complain in any way.
Those investments keep the ponzi makers coming over and over again. So don't be too greedy.

There always is a catch. No doubt about it.
I'm happy that another ponzi flipped belly up Smiley No remorse for investors from my side.
Any one starts to bitch about being scammed by those sites, well deserved it.
Greed shuts peoples eyes. Why pyramids are illegal with fiat, why they flourish withBTC,
investors should ask themself those questions. There is no such thing like free income.
Someone said (some ponzi runner on this forum) that ponzi is a form of gamble, NO it is not.
Common thievery-that what it is.

I think that the biggest financial pyramids, fiat or bitcoin or what ever are provided by special/secret service.

2571  Economy / Services / Re: Topic: [LOGO CONTEST] - Win 0.08 BTC - Bitsler.com - 12 of April on: April 08, 2016, 03:14:16 PM
Hello guys,

I don't know if I can give you advice ( or my favorite for the moment)  ? it is my first contest.

William
It would be nice to hear from You.
Some hints maybe? Guide line etc.
Hello guys,

I don't know if I can give you advice ( or my favorite for the moment)  ? it is my first contest.

William
Yep, you can surely do that.  However, declaring the winner(favourite) before the due date(12 April) 'll be pretty unfair for some future participants (who might be working for this ATM) IMO. You can surely give an advice & /or suggest the future/present participants to compete with a selected design(logo) [of your choice] & entreat 'em come up with some  other extra ordinary  designs.(logos)
Well OP said that he may end the competition early if he likes one particular idea
so nothing unfair in giving some hints about what he needs.

I do not have Photoshop or Illustrator. Would I be able to submit in another format such as .xcf (GIMP, free alternative of Photoshop)?
Yes You can. This question was already answered.

And there is my second version:
2574  Economy / Services / Re: Topic: [LOGO CONTEST] - Win 0.08 BTC - Bitsler.com - 12 of April on: April 07, 2016, 07:38:44 PM

First iteration of bitsler logo
2575  Economy / Services / Re: Topic: [LOGO CONTEST] - Win 0.08 BTC - Bitsler.com - 12 of April on: April 07, 2016, 04:36:42 PM
If less then 4 logos has been entered, by 3 different people, the reward will gets lowered to 0.04 BTC.  Wow that's so extra  Roll Eyes

One question can one use gimp format as raw files?
This is free software with endless potential, why promote photoshop over really free soft?
Do you prefer your logo to be made fairly with legal tools or...?
2576  Economy / Services / Re: YoBit.Net - Signature Campaign - Realtime Payouts (daily) on: April 07, 2016, 04:09:31 PM
How to know if you are already disqualified in the campaign signature?
When You will get out/kicked from signature campaign
text field (on Yobit) with Your bitcointalk.org ID will say "inactive".

There are also bulk post( from time to time) from Yobit campaign manager,
with bitcointalk usernames that where removed due to reasons Smiley
2577  Other / Meta / Re: Does this user deserve to be paid for Signature campaign or banned from forum? on: April 07, 2016, 08:54:24 AM
The good thing is that this user did not use 2 accounts on your campaign as what he did on his previous signature campaign luckybtccasino.
O, now that's just terrible...
As to new circumstances I'm withdrawing from my previous statement.

Although if I where you I would give him the credits.
...if this guy notices that we have some nice people in here, maybe
he will change his spammy attitude? I think its worth a try.
No favourable tariff for scammers and spammers, period.
Guess I'm to soft Smiley and trusting.
2578  Other / Meta / Re: Does this user deserve to be paid for Signature campaign or banned from forum? on: April 07, 2016, 05:57:19 AM
I don't see why this is even a question. Signature campaign spammer deserves to be banned (especially in obvious cases of spam). Simple as that.

Sure, remove this dude. Obvious spamming is obvious.
Although if I where you I would give him the credits.
To avoid any scam accusation or bitching about not being paid from this guy.
Do as You please, its your stuff, those few posts wont bankrupt your campaign
and who knows, if this guy notices that we have some nice people in here, maybe
he will change his spammy attitude? I think its worth a try.

Should be back up in no time, least that is what I have seen in the past.
Im afraid its something completely different.
It is LISK tokens sale Smiley Huge traffic just for one coin that is not released yet.
Its doing surprisingly well. But remember its just tokens not real coin.

All right, I seem to have joined although I didnīt find that button. So, how often does the bot update the post count? Are there any special rules? I know thereīs a max. of 20 posts daily. Can they be posted anywhere here, any category? Thank you.
Yes you can post in any category. No requirements on specific board.
Bot will count your post after ~3hours, some times a lot quicker.
Rule n1 no spam rule n2 no spam Smiley Just try to post helpful answers, constructive opinions
avoid copy/paste from other posts, avoid useless one-liners.
What button did you miss?
