Are the regular 100 edition going to have hand done UV effects like in the Artist Proof?
YES... Just not as much as the initial 10........ really, the 10 proofs are letting me refine the effects.... after a few tests ...tho.... I'm getting it down to 15-20 minutes each..... Are they sized 8 1/2" x 11"? Yes. 8 1/2" × 11"... each section is 1/3 of that....

I guess the worldwide shipping includes tracking anywhere in the world, right?
And what would happens if the product goes missing?
Definitely tracked ...... But in the case one went missing....a small amount of satoshis sent from signed vanity addresses would be sent attaching a message declaring it a voided note. Then a star noted certificate would be printed as a replacement .... and then no further sales outside the continental USA would be allowed by me...

Looks great! There's only one thing I would suggest you do. Make a wallet holder, that is plastic and "see-through" so you can carry it in your pocket and not have to worry about the paper ripping.
Its the size of a sheet of paper, or 1/3 when folded.. Its meant to be stashed in a safe location.... But one might want to make a Bitcoin sale for cash, and they can bring the wallet with them and give it to the buyer. The wallet can be folded so the Public address is on the outside (unfunded) or folded so the keys are within the top 2 graphics (funded).... When the keys are folded on the outside , the public address QR code is visible from within a standard windowed envelope when its placed inside.... upside down... so the envelope would open from the bottom..... All papersafe wallets come folded like this... public QR viewable in an envelope.. the only exception is the 10 Proofs are UNFOLDED....

I have no idea how (technically) reliable is this "note". It seems that you have really done a great job!
But for me the very fact that such a thing now exists is interesting. Because there has been too much focus on bitcoin's track, recently, and not always benign... And the fact that each bitcoin has a unique and specific history is (according to me) a weakness: they are not 100% fongible.
Suppose the blockchain is over-investigated, arguing AML, or anti-terror etc AND suppose the banknotes circulation (in fiat money) restricted (there have been several publication about it), then cash-bitcoin can be an interesting option for keeping privacy...
La Voie du Bitcoin
I have to agree... long term reliability Is a factor I have contemplated over and over.... how will the security stickers hold up over 20 years..... what will humidity or heat do to the paper....will some unknown process allow the stickers to be removed and reapplied without tripping the tamper security.... that is the unknowns to my projects.... and I have thought about each and every one of them... At this point... I am finding collectors are more them willing to overlook these possible short falls as a means to store bitcoins long term and merely focus on the design factor and as a collectable. ... for their collection... These wallets will probably never have Bitcoins stored on them.... I am fine with that..... As a collector myself...I just like paper wallets...and decided to design one my self...... This project has been sitting in a safe for the last 5 months... I just want to release the concept of them to the bitcoin community...... and let them decide how they use them.... ..As a demand as a collectable paper wallet. ...I have since reduced the overall release of the first design "The 1 bitcoin Satoshi (Genesis Block) Note" from 500 prints to 100 prints plus 10 Artist proofs..... The 10 artist proofs will be available at auction one at a time over the next few weeks... they will be auctioned off in this forum... The reduction in prints will allow me to embellish the certificates with finer detail with the UV graphics...they are all done by hand ... in totally darkened room.. under only a black light..... Thank you for your interest.... feel free to share your thoughts .... happy to discuss anything about my project.. BG4

The look is vastly deceiving. It would be bad enough if the deception ended there, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
" but that doesn't seem to be the case".... please make your case...... To point out that one time you put your foot into your mouth. I don't see the point. If ppl started treating these like cash and accepting them as long as the key wasn't scratched out, the *original distributor would be able to sell the coins at any time.
* The private key was known when the address was created. This places trust into a single entity.
A lot of Bitcoin users are already adopting bad practices, do we seriously need to keep creating more.
And I would love to see these certificates passed like cash ..off blockchain... Any Ways........Thanks for the Bump and a reason to post this.....

cheako...I suppose you're against every other physical bitcoin maker as well....Casascius...Lealana..to name a few. Users that have shown to be trusted with minting coins with private keys.
As a collector, I would not be storing bitcoin on these, thus I don't mind if the OP has access to the keys. I just want to collect different physical crypto coins, wallets, etc. These certainly are beautiful and are well designed.
If you don't like them, fine. But that doesn't mean others don't want them.
Being a physical currency, is where this product lacks any traction. It's about as trustworthy as a check from an unknown bank, but the look is vastly deceiving. It would be bad enough if the deception ended there, but that doesn't seem to be the case. " but that doesn't seem to be the case".... please make your case...... Your perception is in error, your oversight is forgiven....

Nice man, pretty comprehensive list you got there! Only ones I can think of that you don't have listed (that can hold private keys) are WoodWallets formerly at woodwallets.io (but they retired), and Infinitum Bitcoins, which come out in 18 days and I'm pretty excited about! Unfortunately I can't help you acquire those because I only have 1 WoodWallet, and the latter aren't released yet (but you can reserve a slot). I can think of a few physical Bitcoins that aren't wallet-type coins (can't hold private keys) that you don't have listed, but I'm not sure if you're looking for those. Hijacking the thread a bit, but since this is about collecting physical wallets/coins... It was pretty sad that those WoodWallets guys went offline. I have one of those (it has a Vanity address, so it's not for sale, sorry OP ) and it looks and feels really good. It's a cheap and pretty wallet, that's pretty useful as a gift too... And I just love wood stuff. Is there any competition, or any other physical wallet/coin that's made out of wood? Any from the list of the OP, maybe? I wouldn't mind getting something similar to what I have from WoodWallets Wow...this is way too crazy of a topic for me right now.....since the woodcollector sham...I have fallen in love with lasered wood products as bitcoin wallets.. I even bought a laser myself.... not to derail my own paper wallet startup.. I have been thinking of a lasered wood wallet design that looks like a bearer bar made from rosewood with polymer inlay.. also a polymer clay bitcoin poker chip.... both with NFC tags embedded like the orange card from a few posts ago.....and would be able to log into any greenaddress wallet...or just store a private key.....I have a rosewood bar prototypes already....as far as the woodwallets...they can be lasered in less then 10 minutes... Sounds really cool. I bet people would love something like a bearer bar made of wood. Very unique and different, especially if you offered different kinds of exotic woods for the crazy collectors like myself. Just make sure you mention its not hand carved And for the crazy collector ..How about my Bitcoin fossil Wallet....I can stick a NFC tag on the bottom of it ..... Rock solid security I swear .... O and that is Rosewood its setting on... The laser beam actually turned the rock into glass.....there is already a micro chip on the edge....as you can see [img]https://i.imgur.com/FYQIPdD.jpg[/im] Also.... this is my Wooden bitcoin.... "LASERED" in Purpleheart... NOT A WALLET... [img]https://i.imgur.com/YaELA1P.jpg[/im] I would do anything to own a piece like that <3 How much do those go for? I never really put a price tag on them... The Purple heart B...I had the idea to laser a rubber stamp of public and private keys and QR codes and glue it to the bottom....when you looked at it the stamp would be backwards and the QR code would not work...To get the QR to work... you would have to ink it and stamp it on paper to redeem it...

I have been refining the final design of my paper wallet....instead of mass producing them.. I have decided to limit this design to only 100+10 prints and concentrate more on the graphics which are all done buy hand.... Over the next few weeks, I will be putting up for auction, the first 10 prints as Artist Proofs , Which will be hand signs and numbered 1of10 through 10of10. and will be clearly marked as such... each of the 10 proofs may be slightly different in the UV graphics. After the 10 proofs are sold , The Series A Satoshi Notes numbering will start at 000 and go to 099... This test print picture was taken with only black light on... Look for my first auction over the next few day...... Thanks..... BG4 CORRECTION..... The UV effects are all done my hand....The printed graphics are done by "LASER"....

The most secure trusted way to create keys for physical coins is to get Satoshi to do it.....End User produced keyed coins have no resell value as a collectable. If your looking to get into producing collectable coins.....even untrusted producers can create keyed coins unfunded and leave it up to end users trust level of the producer if they want to fund them or not.... are you looking to produce a secure place for people to park their bitcoins or are you trying to produce a novelty collectable....IMO it's either one or the other...

Very nice...do you have a picture of the entire paper wallet?
This is my version of the old mining stocks from the early 1900s with a bitcoin twist This is my second series , A one bitcoin Note... Under a BLACK LIGHT I started a thread for discussion about my paper wallet certificates.... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1049428.msg11287791#msg11287791BG4 I really like the last one. They're very eye catching. Are they printed on regular paper? No. The paper I use is an anti copy, high security paper... It has a feature that ..when you rub the paper with your finger.. the micro printing disappears .It will prints "Void Unauthorized copy" if it is scanned or copied..also micro threads embedded in the paper that is only seen under ultra violet lignting. Also the paper does not glow under a black light unlike regular copy paper... This is why the graphics pop so bright like they do.. The back of the paper has water mark lines that can be seen at just the right angle..ito stop cut and paste Edit: When I release the Mining stock certificate. The top pic.....It will also glow under a black light like the second pic does... Pretty sofisticated, are you using Mirco Format's paper? These are very beautiful, I hope to see them being produced soon, it's a most probable buy from me. Yes....micro format had the best quality high end paper....I tested all of them....

That's cool, but, don't you get confused because both your addresses there have half the address in common? They both start the same..
I'd suspect he could always keep them apart as 'PaY' and 'TheV1P' Also, is it possible to give it a prefix? Like Vanity, e.g: 1xxxxx
For that, you'd be better off with vanitygen. The addresses he generated rely on the birthday paradox. E.g. in a large crowd, chances are good two people share the same birth date (ignoring year) - but there's no telling in advance if that date is January 20th, May 1st or August 14th. Same with addresses - generate a bunch of them, and two are likely to share a characteristic - the same starting bits, ending bits, middle bitchbits! (I meant BITS! Oh dear), whatever you'd set as criteria.. but the exact values can't be determined in advance. Would this be considered a Birthday paradox event 1BirthDAY5nLWc9HLciynq5FSNWhemk5Kw 1BirthDayjAuMBf4XSs3VQV3UfE3UeVapb
