Posting just your address without signing a message won't benefit you. You need to sign a message with that address to prove it's yours. If only stake address without signing message then there should have no problem. Signing message here will help only to himself/herself either she/he is doing correct or not. Staking signature doesn't proof latter who is the owner of the account. Latter the person should have sign a new message when it is in question.
