One single a day goes out their door
483  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 40 less Mhash/sec after upgrading AMD drivers on: July 10, 2013, 02:12:33 PM
Stop using GUI miner and start using CGMiner. Smiley

My 5850 gets ~350MH/s

I doubt GUI miner is the reason I'm seeing less Mhash
484  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / 40 less Mhash/sec after upgrading AMD drivers on: July 10, 2013, 01:41:51 PM
I upgraded the drivers for my two Sapphire 7850's 2GB yesterday and with the same exact clocks am receiving 40 less Mhash/s in GUI miner.

Does anyone have a clue as to why this is?

The clocks set in Sapphire TRIXX are the same as before, 1170 GPU / 1300 Memory / 1.220 voltage

Was receiving 350 Mhash before now I max out at 310 Mhash.

The cards are already pushing mid 80's C. with these clocks.

486  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Buying used GPU's? on: July 10, 2013, 12:42:27 AM
Funny how people are so quick to dismiss GPU's and say "ASIC's or bust" when the reality is all the companies "selling" asics require you to wait months to receive them, and there isn't even a company selling ASIC's that has a proven track record.

I haven't done my research but I'm sure if I could order 50+ GH today and receive it in less than a week I would get absolutely RAPED on the price, because the companies know people would pay for it.

Look at the people paying $10,000 for those lucky enough to have a 60GH asic in their hands.

Who in their right mind would pay 10k for an ASIC that might burn out in a week.

I just got off the phone with "Robert" from PayPal and he said they would be more than willing to refund me after a dispute was opened because the BFL cronies haven't shipped a single thing and are denying refunds.
???But the highlighted part is not true???

BFL shill pls go
Go back and read my post history - including on this thread - and then see if I'm a shill for anybody.

To say BFL has not shipped a single thing is a prima facie misrepresentation of the truth.  You have plenty of cause to come down on BFL without making shit up.

They haven't shipped a single in a month, except to shills like ARS Technica and other "I got my Single today!" shills

They haven't provided an explanation as to why they haven't shipped.

What pisses me off the most is they claim to still be "Shipping June 23rd Singles" which they've been claiming for a month now.  There's under 100 orders for June 23rd, so how many Singles do you think they've shipped?

Who in their right mind would defend this company after they started denying refunds to customers, with some phoney explanation?

A shill would

How many of you have been successful in getting a refund through paypal, after BFL illegally denied your refund?

Within 45 days paypal policy, I have tried to get outta there before June. The BFL is really, really deep damned.

Were you able to get a refund?

Looking to buy a 60 day game card for USA with bitcoins.  If you can't prove you have reputation on a site like Bitmit I'm gonna have to ask you to send the code first.

It seems people on Bitmit are only selling EU cards...

If anyone is worried about going first here is a link to my bitmit profile:

So, Big Jody over at BFL posted her daily shipping blog, and guess what

they are shipping June 23rd Singles still aren't shipping Singles at all, same as last week, and the week before it.

So I guess the prophets of doom were right, this company really is swindling us.

Are you guys selling your preorders on ebay or just filing a claim with Paypal/FTC?

If I sell my pre-order on ebay and am paid through paypal, and these clowns never end up shipping, or ship a year from now, what's stopping the buyer from initiating a chargeback?

Bumping for more replies to this

We shipped most Jalapeno orders through August 22 today. And I hear that 2 Single SC's shipped. Sorry to be late with that awesome news.

It is now nearly a month since they've been claiming to be shipping June 23rd, 2012 orders for Singles

Time to bring in the lawyers, this company is going down.

There has to be at least one pre-orderer taking legal action by now, right?
