Why don't the mods ever prune these threads?
Is having all 314 some-odd pages really necessary?

Slush's pool has every US-based Private Internet Access server blacklisted, whether accidentally or intentionally. This completely screws over anyone who uses this VPN from the US.

I'm still getting the "No connections could be made because the target machine actively refused it" error in guiminer It's only when I use it through my vpn, which I consider essential for using the internet. Why is my VPN fucking this up? I downloaded the latest guiminer before I made this post and am still getting the error. Slush? You around bro? Any idea how I can fix this? I'm pretty sure it starts hashing automatically after a few minutes of getting the error. I'll report back. Add this in the server.ini of guiminer. restart guiminer, Try the alt server. All your setting should be there still. { "balance_host": "mining.bitcoin.cz", "balance_token_url": "http://mining.bitcoin.cz/accounts/token-manage/", "balance_url": "/accounts/profile/json/%s", "host": "stratum.bitcoin.cz", "name": "slush's pool(IPv6/alt)", "port": 3333, "url": "http://mining.bitcoin.cz" }, This seems to be my issue but I am NOT using GUI miner I am doing this command line: "C:\Users\Liquid Silver\Dropbox\Hashing\guiminer\miners\Coin\coin-miner.exe" -u Galaxy -p 1234 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 Also tried: -o stratum+tcp://api-stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 I guess nobody knows the answer to this problem.

Worked first try, hopefully no errors in the future. The problem is back. Same vpn server, really pissed.

Let's assume worst case scenario BFL takes our money and runs. Is there any chance we can get our money back in that situation? Through any intermediary?
Do a little research and see how much all the people that sonny scammed got back. you can expect 1000x that amount. I don't understand what you mean

Can someone explain how average hashrate is calculated? And why does guiminer report that I'm receiving 20-30 Mhash's more than what this says?

"No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it"
Using GUIminer, been mining seven months straight, first time I've seen this message
Is it the server or an issue on my end?
