221  Economy / Economics / Re: wait for bitcoin prices to go up on: February 07, 2018, 12:13:09 AM
Don't expect it to grow after those events because it would only lead to disappointment if it doesn't happen though you may be right but the right thing to do is to wait for the price recovery whether it takes a years or month.
222  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: February 06, 2018, 11:36:49 PM
Controversial not only in illegal activities but also controversial in the financial services/institution which they thought that it was a huge bubble. Since the beginning, from the creation and whomever the person behind that satoshi name until it became popular and became more expensive than gold.
223  Other / Politics & Society / Re: FOREIGN LANGUAGE on: February 06, 2018, 11:39:51 AM
English is the second language we used in our country, it was started to taught in pre school until college I think so everyone in my country even if it's just a vendor or people in a slump area has an ability to talk in English language. If I were to choose another language I would gladly choose Nihongo or Japanese language because I just like the way they speak lol haha
224  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long way to go until bottom... on: February 06, 2018, 11:14:15 AM
The thing is.. you can find posts like this all throughout the BCT forum history.. back in 2011.. 2013.. even 2016. Perhaps it is a long way to the bottom, but today is not that day.

I totally agree with this, the fear will always be there if you continuously thinking about the price movement especially if you're new to this kind of thing like the volatility is insanely high that it could drop to zero lol. You could say that I'm saying this because I am not a big investor but if I were the op,  I would just forget this thing and would go back after a few years to know if I really wasted my money
225  Economy / Economics / Re: Will bitcoin effect the current economy system? on: February 05, 2018, 12:42:37 PM
Do you think,  Japan would consider paying bitcoins as a means of salary for their employees if it doesn't known in their country? As we can see it was obviously has an affect in their economy not in a form of growth but rather as a form of change and adaption.
226  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: February 05, 2018, 12:21:59 PM
i think it's okay because nothing can increase forver so price should get back now than will recover. When? I don't know but i am sure it will happen someday.

It was a healthy sign for a certain market actually. You are right that there is nothing that can increase forever, crypto should also experience its own decline whether it's for a longer period or not. Yes,  it was indeed a panic time but not for those experienced, as a matter of fact, it was also a best buying time.
227  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Leave full time office job to trade crypto? on: February 05, 2018, 11:45:05 AM
This idea is very risky, and its surely not recommended. Trading crypto currencies still very risky job and not stable at all, you can lose your hard earned money anytime especially if you joined this field without good knowledge. Its better to keep your full time job, and treat trading as an additional work, not more.

Well said, but unfortunately it was his own choice. We cannot push him to stay on his previously full time job, just time and loss will become an eyeopener for him to realize that it wouldn't be sufficient for a daily living or for his own future.
228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: February 04, 2018, 12:58:47 PM
Saving is an obligation we need to do for some future purposes. If you want to save just play what you can afford to loose and play just a little amount and the others is for saving.Management in your finances to be able to save for your future and not loosing money in gambling.
If you think that as an obligation you can definitely learn how to save money.
It's very important for our future as we cannot be certain of what will happen in the future, we should allocate funds for emergency situation in life
and of course an amount that we can use for leisure and investing in order to grow our money.
Don't treat saving as an obligation because it is not. To save is a choice if you will agree with me.
Obligation is something that you need to it is very needed or in every game it is your obligation to? While let me say that a choice, i play gambling and its my choice or a will to spend money and save some profits it is appropriate in your life right.

Indeed, it was our own choice to save or not. Just be responsible for every decisions or choices we've made cause it could lead to some real problems such as losing something valuable for you. It is possible to save while gambling but don't expect to save more money, a higher portion could be used for gambling activities (though it still depends on a person)
229  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how long you can stay without gambling? on: February 04, 2018, 11:32:58 AM
Just like you,  I can completely stop playing gambling games and control myself. I am not addicted to it to start with, so how could i not stop lol. If you can become serious or committed on stopping then it would give a positive outcome, so anyone can stop if they really want.
230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: February 04, 2018, 10:41:00 AM
Yes i tried but didnt work out. Because i dont have much money to waste. I gambled hoping to win because i badly need some cash, big cash but it turns out i lose the money. I regret that time when i did it. I realized gambling is not actually the answer of our problems. But there are people turn into gambling if they are depressed, i was thinking good thing they have plenty of money to waste but for those who dont have much, im not sure they will gamble.

It would never work out especially if there's something bothering in your mind or when you're not in a good mood because you don't have any focused on the things you're playing. Instead of relieving your stress it could worsen your current situation.
231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: February 04, 2018, 07:01:18 AM
I dont understand why people still expecting from faucets now also. Even waves faucet is not so valuable now. I feel its not worth our time and in the same time we can do something productive online and earn more.

It’s difficult to understand why people do like faucet so much beacuse I found it not much worth and complete waste of time . Instead learning and reading more about the crypto is more beneficial in long run than faucets .

For sure, once they'll experience making a decent profit online they will realized that doing those kind of things such as solving captchas was just a wait of time. I believe that those people who are still expecting from faucets doesn't have any money to start (with crypto).
232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: February 04, 2018, 06:49:34 AM
Many people chose to play in a landbased casino rather than online games maybe because they want different sorroundings especially when they are seeking for fun or to be entertained. Casinos now a days offered lots of different means of entertainment not just gambling. Such such as a variety shows, concerts and so on. And interaction in person are far different from online interaction.

That's right,  it's all about their own preferences for entertainment. Online games could not satisfy their cravings for entertainment and also in gambling there's also money in stake so it would be more fun to win in a game in which you can also gain money.
233  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL or SODL? on: February 04, 2018, 06:40:57 AM
As of now,  I am waiting for some of my coins to recover its price that's why I'm holding it for now,  I won't sell it until I gain atleast 5% profit lol.  It would be a waste if you sell it right away without taking a good profit.
234  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the reasons to support war? on: February 04, 2018, 05:54:26 AM
Why should we support a war that has many disadvantages for human life. War causes death and annihilation of mankind, hunger, destruction. For that reason i don't support the war and choose another way that can be solved by peaceful way

Indeed, but not all problems can be solved by a peaceful way. The only problem with having a war is that only those who's in this line of business will only benefiting and also who the hell would want a war? But if war is the only way to stop or defend something then I think I could somehow support it
235  Economy / Economics / Re: Is this the end for bitcoins ? on: February 04, 2018, 05:08:53 AM
Well,  it's just the author's opinion or beliefs about bitcoin, we should still respect his opinion because we all know the real thing,  we should not let get swayed by our emotions about it.  It was always the same when the bitcoin market is suffering, they will always write an article and will assume that it might be the end but they end up being wrong.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin really gonna be dead? on: February 03, 2018, 12:37:12 AM
Dude,  you should never believe on any info or assumptions came from a random guy, one day you'll find yourself that you're one of those noobs who panic sell and contributed to the decreasing price of bitcoin while others take this opportunity to buy and became rich by holding or waiting for the right time.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late for Bitcoin? on: February 02, 2018, 05:46:08 PM
We all know that bitcoin is now rising and rising. And before this year ends it is expected to rise doubled the price right now. Is it too late to invest Bitcoin?

Now's the right time to invest in bitcoins. So I suggest you go hard today and buy a lot of bitcoins now while the price is still cheap. Maximize your money and just buy 1 btc and hodl afterwards. Wait for the right time when your investment doubles and then sell immediately.

With its current price I think the same thing, the best time to buy bitcoins and other altcoins too. Just make sure to hold it with your wallet and not in an exchange. Although it might become more cheaper in the next hours or days, you can still buy now and forget it for about a months and wait for the price recovery.
238  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: February 02, 2018, 02:10:57 PM
The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?

We all know that economics and financial education involves the subject mathematics. This must be the reason that's why some people find it boring. But, if we impose to people's mind that when it comes to money, they shouldn't let themselves be bored or uninterested with it because it will cost them fortune.

Especially if they only teach about the calculations and not the application of it in the real life lol.  You can't push someone to learn something that they see as a boring subject and if they don't even has a little bit of interest. In my country, financial education is only for those who takes or wanted to take business related courses.
239  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this new crash very bad on: February 02, 2018, 01:21:27 PM
I notice quite a big drop in the last few hours.  Is this just a short term thing for a few hours and it will pick up again back to normal.  Or will it go much further down into a big crash.

Don't worry mate. It is very usual volatility of bitcoin. According to the fibonacci retracement it can come down till 8000usd. In case it doesn't break that level downward I don't see any problem.

But the thing is it did broke on that level lol haha. So, is there a problem now? For me, I still think that it was a great time to buy a bulk of coins.

Ignore the scale and the low prices. But this is how it might play out. Perhaps, history repeats itself. It took over a year for prices to recover and even longer for them to skyrocket again.

Maybe it is but we can be sure that if the price will skyrocket again the price should be more higher than the previous ath. And it is the good thing, there might be another people who will become a millionaire just because they used this opportunity to buy and hold.
240  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the bottom(for you)? on: February 02, 2018, 12:26:47 PM
The bottom? I thought it was $10k before,  but now I think it might hit $7K below.  For whatever reasons behind this decreasing price, I'll wish that it would be the best sign for the bitcoin to hit above $20k this year.
