I think get 1000 BTC is an impossible thing. The number is so large. for most people it is not easy to do. but for a big businessman I guess it could have been, as long as he believes that bitcoin will continue to grow in the future.
There is a big chance that bitcoin will reach to 1000$ is possible. Even the growth of the bitcoin is keep increase so there is a chance that it will reach to 1000$. Bitcoin is keep growing and the future of bitcoin is quite impressive. I don't understand why are you so lazy in reading what OP has to say did he ask whether the price of bitcoins will touch $1k in near future??? NO he is much interested in knowing whether its possible to earn that amount in altcoin trading?? And the answer is yes that is possible depending upon the capital that you are willing to invest in trading. That is right. 1000 bitcoin is not possible for most people. |

for now, to earn 1000 btc is really hard and its need time before we can make it. but if the altcoin is gets up then i think to earn 1000 btc from the altcoin is not hard because we can make a big profit in trading altcoin. for trading bitcoin pair fiat, if we don't have a big money, then its hard to earn 1000 btc too so the option is for trading altcoin.
For the not so rich people, the target can be 10 bitcoin. |

Lol! Well I bought the previous dip at 700k, I'm very cautious now but I would still pick up some more really, long term of course. The only thing that works right now is shorting all alts or longing BTC...
But I think we can all agree this won't last much longer, I called BTC top at $850 some weeks ago, it already passed that. I'm sure the dump is around the corner.
You really shouldn't be so sure imho. We've overcome major resistance, and the chart suggests new ATH is quite possible. Let the trend be your friend as they say. That is true for bitcoin, but not for Etheruem at present. |

OP ask not about bitcoin price can reach 1000 dollar but OP want get 1000 bitcoin posible or not but is i think is very dificult can get 1000 bitcoin, this bitcoin price now is over 750,000 dollar posible is long time, and you must have high skill trading or progamer, and then you must have big capital money If the OP does not have 1000 bitcoin worth of money now, it is not very possible for him to get 1000 bitcoin in the future. |

It depends on the coin if its not shitcoin and in your investment. You need a bit huge capital. That is possible but at the same time it was really hard. For sure 1 year is too short to achieved such amount.
I agree and in achieving that 1000 BTC, you will be averaging 2.7 BTC a day. Though if you are lucky in trading, your capital double, 3x,5x or more if you are lucky enough and can wait, but the question is when. You will really need big capital. It is not very possible to get that amount of bitcoin doing trading along. It is better to invest in good bitcoin project. |

Considering how volatile Crypto Currencies are, it's very possible, however a lot of factors will affect the time that it will take you to reach 1000BTC. What would be your initial Investment, Trading Strategy, I would recommend day Trading , although opportunities might be there to make profit on daily basis. I believe there are people who Trade which such large amounts , especially the Chinese.
If you do a lot of trading, the only beneficiary is the operator of the exchanges. The traders as a whole will lose. |

You don't have to be Satoshi in order to acquire this much bitcoin. You just need to have a decent bankroll when you're starting, a good skillset, a set of friends that knows how to do altcoin trading, and experience. At first you will be doing tons of research about altcoin trading before you can actually get the hang of it. 1000 BTC is possible but it's really hard to get to that point especially now that a lot of altcoins are becoming a scam coin. For the time being, 1,000 bitcoin is worth over $700,000. That is a lot of money for most people in the world. |

This question is silly. Nobody knows how much you're starting with. What kind of answer do you expect? Or what do you expect at all? As the Bitcoin protocol offers more than 1000 BTC in total, and as there are other markets which can be traded against BTC, it is of course possible to get 1000 BTC, theoretically. Even though it probably won't happen. You are right. If that guy can buy the altcoin at the right time of many altcoins such as the Monero or Ethereum, he will be very rich. |

I only hold eth till it hit .021+ then I dump and re-rinse.
The price is 0.0216 at the moment. Do you have no ETH at the moment. Do you think it will drop further? The price has dropped to 0.0195 range in the last few days. There is possiblity that it will drop further. |

Told you so   What do you think would be a good selling point after this upward movement? I think it can go as high as $20-30 or BTC equivalent, the devcon 2 hype will be huge, VB pitching Casper and white paper on scaling, okcoin exchange, raiden network and many more stuff. If you are not that optimistic then to me $15 is a given and if you want to take profits there I won't blame you  I think so. It is a good time to accumulate some Ethereum at the current price. There could be a big pump soon. |

No chance, If you clear know about Altcoin trading, than of course you know that it is very hard to make 1000 bitcoins from small amount of the bitcoins. Also i don't think that anyone here who have earn near about 1000 bitcoins, but only those people who buy the bitcoins in 2009 on cheapest rate. Only one thing left hold your bitcoins for a long time period like 10 or 20 years. Yes as you said 1000btc is very imposible to reach if you are jusrt relying on that and you are just normal lowballer in btc industry, and also i think the only one who can really generate that revenue is businessman and casino owers its because they are the one who's only got potential to generate that if their business will success in crypto world, if people will really targeted that amount to reach i think they will get old first before reaching that far. If you do some trading and always find the best altcoin to trade, then 1000 bitcoin is possible. Two examples are Moneor or Etheruem. |

Well there is not bad to invest in ethereum but the problem is the price of ethereum right now is high and i think this is not the best time to but ethereum.. better to wait because the price is decrease.,.
The Ethereum price is not high. Without the ETC fiasco, the price should be over 0.025 by now. When the ETC is no long live, the ETH price will rise. it is really high at the moment, i think that etc has a huge potential to take over all the eth and in a longer run eth might even disappear That depends on if the ETC can survive the dump by the Ehereum Foundation and some of the big holders including the hackers. If the Ehereum Foundation and some of the big holders including the hackers dump there ETC, that could mean 20 million ETC on the market, it is difficult to support the price. Maybe the DAO hacker is part of the new Ethereum Classic Foundation and he will declare that he will not dump the coins to the market. You could be right but only one thing I see now with ETH and ETC and that is the price is so cheap now and we have a very good opportunity to buy more for short time investment before it will start to pump again. I think the ETH is better than any other altcoins as it has a very rich development fund and can pay for good coders. |

Dead cat is alive, well maybe not technically, more like a zombie. BTC decline helped ETH no question, I wonder if this is a huge manipulation/exit strategy. I don't have the balls to short ETH but if this is the case it should be EPIC.
Does it mean investors are selling the bitcoin and convert into the Ethereum as its community are more robust? |

DAO will recover along with ETH. Buy when its at rock bottom, buy up, then sit and wait. $$$$$$$$
Bitcoin was once in bad shape for the first couple of years, Up and Down Side to Side. Ether is smart and so is DAO. They just need more time. However..... ETH and DAO are not day trading currencies. You will become very wealth if you buy into ETH/DAO now and park it for 5 years!
I just don't think the DAO will actually recover. Why would anyone trust something, that was so catastrophically broken that it costs millions of dollars? As you have said, eth over long term, but otherwise, these assets aren't going anywhere too soon. I agree. If you are after a profit sooner rather than later. DONT buy into eth or dao. But if you can afford a couple of hundred dollars to throw into a eth/dao wallet and forget about it for a while..... DO IT. The DAO/Ethereum is very risky business. It is for speculation only at the moment. If you have extra money, buy some. But not yet. Id wait til right before the fork, or right after it. The price is entirely too unstable at the moment, as previously said. I might enter the market a few weeks after the hard fork. Things might settle down during that period. The price is low due to the bitcoin shills. But the bitcoin price is also dropping at the moment. They are destroying both. |

I am a bit regret that I sold all my Ethereum to buy the bitcoin. The Ethereum price is new all time high now.
Never ever sell Ethereum. It's been said many times before on this very fora. I sold most of my Ethereum when the price was $0.9 early this year. I thought the price was very high. |

Both of the coin seem promising in the future, however i think eth is more popular than risk and more people are into eth than lisk and there is been a great rumour eth is going to rise high
Yeah ETH is really popular even when I ask co-bitcoin users they all say ETH is really looking great. But it is price is too high so if you are at minimal risk or just a starter LSK could provide some of that. If the Ethereum is very useful in the real world usage, the price is not too high. If there is no use, the price is 0. |

Not so exciting for most people. Litecoin mining is not very popular as the price is not going higher. If they produce a Ethereum chip, more people will be interested.

The Slock DAO is the first of many projects which will use the Ethereum. There will be more similar projects. |

Eth does have value but at its current price it is overvalued. I can see eth in the $1 range longterm.
For the medium term, I think the value of the Ethereum is around $10. For the long term, it is not predicatable. |

The $400 will be the medium bottom of the bitcoin price. The price might drop to the level very briefly, not very long.
