I am not a hardcore gambler, I will definitely go for the 1 bitcoin without gambling, rather than chose to have 5 with gambling, for in gambling, there is no guarantee of any kind, I might choose to have 5 bitcoin in gambling and end up not winning it.
I can only choose to have 5 bitcoin in gambling if there is a sure guarantee that I will win the 5 bitcoin, which actually changes the whole thing and makes the whole game useless, for what essence is it to choose to have 1 bitcoin without gambling when there is a guarantee that I can get 5 if I gamble, and doesn't matter if I lose or win.

So, in the nutshell, it's better for me to have 1 sure bitcoin without gambling, than hoping to win 5 bitcoin through gambling without any guarantee, it is commonly and often said that, a bird at hand is worth millions of birds in the bush, which simply means that, that which small amount we have with guarantee, is much more than that which is many, but no guarantee that we can have it or them.

More of inconvenience with anything you are doing under the usage of internet connection. Problems I have personally experienced which are related to this discussion, are times that my transactions were not processed and a single time that I bet much more than what I am supposed to place. The feeling was really frustrating given how hard it is to win and if inconvenience and disruptions will add to the difficulty, experience would be worse for sure. There's this friend of mine who was into gambling. This guy was introduced to betting and got addicted to it for years, and at this level he has gone into virtual games. At some point, he could use all his money, borrow from others, and even use the one given to him by someone for important stuff. This went a long way for him, and his life was becoming miserable as time went on. But with the help of some punishment , self discipline and prayers, he was able to reduce it. My question was, When is this big day? Yes, you might be lucky one day, but when is that? Is there a guarantee for it? How long will you continue to do this for the big day? It's better to stop today than regret it. 

In my opinion, the best way to test a person for addiction is the following situation. When you have money that you cannot afford to spend, money for a loan, for an apartment, for food, or the money is not yours and you need to give it away, but at that moment you see a very attractive rate, what do you do? If you are placing a bet, this is most likely a bad sign.
Also, if your mood suffers and joy and life go away and you feel that this is reflected in other areas of your life and communication with people, then most likely you need to quit betting
