I am forced to speculate how important the "hamster dance" is too the entire process here.  I am not questioning you expertise in this matter as you seem very articulate in the matter at hand.  Although I would never personally attempt to claim mining expenses from the Danish Skat (To this day it amazes me that this word is also a term of endearment meaning treasure in danish. It means shit in English, seems more appropriate)  I will be preforming the hamster dance on a regular basis now.

Oh and I sadly want BTC tattoo.  Just bought my first physical coin from bitmit.  It's in mail!

Ive always found my ADD to ADD focus on tasks i enjoy Smiley

This is very true! Hyper focus is very cool. But reading for me is always a chore.  Doing is a whole other story.

Well that's about time.  Will take me a good long time to read this and make sure I understand.  I get things easily confused in my bad translations.

Sucks having ideas and no skeelz.  LOL or money to hire the people with the skills.

You could always develop some skills. It takes time, but if you start build something, you will eventually finish it. Learning as you go - so to speak. And if you make some computer code, there will always be someone able to look at it. And there are many guides for both software and hardware development available online.

Actually doing that sir Smiley  The ADD is no help though  Wink

price seems more or less unaffected. I'm glad people are starting to ignore the outages.

Yeah, I have only caught on report about it.  Just need to get some more reliable exchanges up and this will no longer be an issue.

Max Kieser will save us.  Roll Eyes

Saw that the other day on The bitcoin channel.  Very nice.  These types of things are what the community needs.  People with know how just need to get on the boat.  Everyone that I know with the type of knowledge to develop products for BTC don't get it.  It drives me crazy.  I have given up, for the most part, trying to get people to see this is future one way or another.

48  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: bitcoin.dk - Køb Bitcoins - Køb og sælg Bitcoins hos sikker dansk virksomhed on: April 22, 2013, 11:16:41 AM

Looks good to me.  Oh but I am english speaking Smiley  Well done sir about time more people try to inform the Danish people.

Så Bitcoinnordic fimp har været forgangsmand på det område!

Sorry he has dropped the ball lately.  I have stated earlier that i am all for helping inform the Danes of their impending doom about BTC but I am skriftlig dansk impaired. But anyway I can help please do not hesitate to ask.

(2) Having Bitcoin on an exchange in a country outside Denmark where they easily can be sold for $$ is another matter, That's considered an asset in a foreign country and reportable before the end of the tax year for me as a Dane regardless of the missing official status of Bitcoin. I asked Skat specifically on that one!

That is very interesting.  This doesn't apply to me except maybe with some LTC, which is not big deal atm. Seems like the thing to do is just move them then. You are either trying to be a bit honest for your own good here or you have a shitload of coins  If it's the shitload coins good for you! But then again be afraid. Smiley I assume the US has a similar law but I don't pay taxes there atm although I am still a citizen.

OH and they're back anyway. Doesn't change the facts

Gox ddos'ed ? Just wait for the Fox & Co headlines now:

"HACK ATTACKS RUINS THE BITCOIN ECONOMY"

"MTGOX BLACKOUT BY HACK ATTACK"

"BLACK SUNDAY ON MTGOX"

"BITCON OFFLINE" (I unintentionally forgot the second 'i' in Bitcoin here)

"MTGOX CHOKED BY HACK ATTACK"

"LARGEST BITCOIN EXCHANGE HACKED"

"END OF THE BUBBLE - TOTAL BITCON BLACKOUT"

"BITCOIN BUBBLE COMEBACK TWARTED BY HACK ATTACK"

"HACK ATTACK KILLS BITCOIN COMEBACK"

"BITCOIN WENT BLACK"

"BITCON PLUMMETS AFTER HACK ATTACK"

"JAPAN BITCOIN EXCHANGE WENT BLACK, HACK ATTACKED BY NORTH KOREA" (Reserved for 'The Onion')

Nah you can see by the posts in the thread that none of that matters and Gox has no effect on the price or perception of BTC.

And yes I believe in the long run that BTC will prevail that does not change the fact that Gox's ineptness is not good for BTC now and for some time to come.
52  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: [ANNOUNCE] BitcoinNordic: Buy Bitcoins with Scandinavian credit cards on: April 21, 2013, 06:49:01 PM
Yep. It would be a year late, but still, the subject-line of this thread should be renamed for the sake of honesty.

I tried to say this a month ago but Lasse doesn't seem to care.  Makes little difference their prices are unreal anyway IMO.
53  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox's Facebook statement for those who have not seen on: April 21, 2013, 06:45:47 PM
Does not affect much.

They are a dying project from my perspective.

One can only hope.  It is sad to hear some idiot on Fox news or other major prosti-media-tute talk about how BTC is failing and only mention Mt. magic cards exchange.
54  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox's Facebook statement for those who have not seen on: April 21, 2013, 06:41:16 PM
If you think that it is unacceptable just stop use their website.
Give us a break.

I don't use their site.  Never have, but it still effects the entire BTC price and community.  Give me a break!
55  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp.net experiences before and after Mt Gox meltdown on: April 21, 2013, 06:40:06 PM
Made my largest transaction this last week with BitStamp with absolutely no problems.  They even changed banks the same day.

UPDATE: This again appears to be another strong DDos attack. We are working hard to overcome it and will update when possible. It's currently 2am in Japan so please forgive us if our Facebook/Twitter updates are not as quick, though the team is certainly not taking any breaks. We're very much looking forward to implementing a much stronger solution very soon and will make an announcement to that effect once it's in place.

Unacceptable!
57  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mtgox IS DOWN! 4 hours archived! on: April 21, 2013, 06:28:40 PM
Jesus, all our money is gone!

OK that's not even funny....even though I have no money there.
58  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can't Move USD to BTC-e? - BitInstant & AurumXchange on: April 21, 2013, 06:26:25 PM
I have bitched about the BitInstant thing to their support many times and never got a reply.  I like BTC-e but have absolutely no trust for the people running it.

The trollbox is always worth the price of admission.  Grin
59  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: mtgox trading lag INCOME [30 minutes at this moment] on: April 21, 2013, 06:22:53 PM
g0x archived 30 minutes lag already and nobody cares?

I'm pretty annoyed.  What other exchanges have a reasonable API, security, and are unlikely to have their bank accounts squashed?

BTC-e. Everyone should go there I just can't bring myself to use goxxxxx

Except you can't get funds to that damn place and no one has answers

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=181843.0

OKPay is the best way but then you are still doing a bank xfer to OKpay first.  It truly is a pain and I wholeheartly expect the BTC-e boys (read gangsters) to either be seriously hacked soon or up and leave with everyone's coins.  I hope I am wrong there.  Still hoping kraken.com is half as good as it looks.

Gox is killing BTC's already tarnished rep.  Unacceptable for the "The exchange that handles 80% of the trade"!  I don't trade there because I think the interface sucks balls.  But I ain't reel brite anyways.
60  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - US-based Exchange w/ Margin Trading on: April 21, 2013, 06:08:08 PM
Just saw this.  I have a testing account and I can say that I really hope they launch (but who knows with FinCEN) because their interface is superb!

So you are actively trading on the site?  woot! Because it does look very nice.

FinCEN is not out to get exchanges (yet) but they do want to make them adhere to the laws in place for fiat, KYC and such.  That is totally fair in my book.  I know the total anarchists are opposed but each to his own opinion.  The more BTC tries to stay in some guidelines the farther it will go.

Thanks for the update sir.
