David Gilmour would find your behaviour reprehensible.

As would Syd.
262  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scammer Accusation] BTC-e.com or Balthazar on: February 21, 2013, 07:11:54 PM
With the price of this brand new coin so high so fast, even to a newb such as myself I feel something is off about the whole thing.  I don't understand enough about any of right to say what but I don't think this little soap opera is going to end well for either alt coin.  That's probably the worst part.

The mere mortal is still in awe you graced his thread Smiley  Although your demigodly status does not mean I have to agree with you. Undecided
264  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: [ANNOUNCE] BitcoinNordic: Buy Bitcoins with Scandinavian credit cards on: February 21, 2013, 05:41:23 PM
Really need to rewrite this post or at least edit the subject.  Think I have opened it 3 times thinking maybe you updated (or forgetting I have read it before, oops). Guess that's probably the reason you haven't changed it.

Ever going to make a fast way to obtain BTC in Scandinavia? 24-48 bank transfers are far from optimal and cashU is way overpriced.

Are your picks on the point spread or straight bets?

267  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet between mrb and Micon (are BFL ASICs real?) on: February 21, 2013, 05:15:41 PM
u guys are crazy lol
I agree. It's probably a combination of crazy and stuck in the past. For instance, look at my BTC25 bet. That doesn't seem like a lot for some reason, but every once in awhile I realize that BTC is worth USD$30 and "Holy shit, I just bet $750". I normally cash out on a VLT after I win $5. Tongue

What BTC isn't really monopoly money?  Oh the wife is gonna be mad.

But how big of of a consumer base is that?  You may be right but I don't think that is the consumer group must people are shooting for.  Not much of a base.

That base is enormous.  Have you ever heard of System D?

Now you are talking apples and oranges.

To whom?  I'm talking about paw-paws.

OK TBH since you are like god around here I see I will take your word for it. Smiley

Question.  Reading through this thread, I didn't at any point read a post from Micon saying that BFL is an outright scam.  Did I miss this as well?  It seems to me that the bets he is taking are more of a calling-them-on-bullshit-timeframe kind of thing, with a strong hint of looks-like-they-tried-and-probably-failed, which to me seems entirely legitimate considering the fact that BFL has collected what seems to be millions of dollars in pre-orders, while producing nothing more than excuse after excuse.  How is Micon a scammer? How is he a liar?

Dude, Micon has his own dedicated thread to the fact that he considers BFL a scam.

It would seem OP lost interest in these forums?  Strange no one else picked this idea up.

Wow this thread is very gloom and doom.  I almost sold all my BTC by the end of page one.

But Bitcoinistan is legendary.  Grin

Word is the faucet here is already dry?  I know I have yet to receive anything and I posted 3-4 hours ago.

Looks like they stopped around the #60 post.. but they did mention they would stagger it over a few days..

Thus proving I that possibly I did not read the entire OP? Oops. Thank you sir as I proceed back to post #1 and read it in its entirety. Smiley
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VPN Accepts Ripple, the First True Bitcoin Competitor on: February 21, 2013, 12:41:19 PM
It's unclear from their statement whether they are accepting payments through ripple,  or accepting xrp for vpn services.

I think it is clear, that they are probably good friends with Jed McCaleb.

278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC NVC mining question on: February 21, 2013, 12:04:39 PM
I mine 40% NVC coins than I would LTC but the NVC price is currently 506% the price of LTC.

https://btc-e.com/

Fully aware of the pump and dump price.  That being the main basis behind the question.  40% difference of you, this still seems illogical.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LTC NVC mining question on: February 21, 2013, 11:35:59 AM
Ok being the complete newb that I am to the whole mining thing something has me confused.

From what I understand right now, mining LTC and NVC should yield about the same amount of coins at the same hashing rate.

But when I mine LTC I am making over 200x more than NVC.  Same set up but different pools.  I can't see how the pool can make that much difference.  I have tried 2 NVC pools same result.
