What kind of setup do you have? I maybe able to help you out.
44  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Questions About Headless Mining on Win7 on: August 10, 2013, 12:08:10 AM
If you are in crossfire you will not ned a monitor. It works fine. I use Team Viewer to check my miners when I mined with windows. I use Kubuntu 13.04 now. works great. If you had trouble installing stuff on linux I found a good guide at http://www.distrogeeks.com/install-cgminer-latest-ubuntu/. This is a killer linux guide. You can even mine Litecoins with the install. Just copy and paste. Then find a guide to install ssh server. Then you are headless. Linux is killer. Free to. I have had to many problems with windows. Linux is the best. It is almost like it was made for the data mining stuff. Hope this may have helped you. If not o well. Windows will give you problems after awhile with cgminer and bfgminer. It would not start. Plus windows cost money. Linux is free. Hackers dream it is. Long live BITCOIN.

Would be a good way to donate. Someday maybe we will have debitcards with these so we can buy us a pizza and a pop at the gas station. Would be nice wouldn'nt it?
50  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Overclocking Radeon HD 5830 on: March 25, 2013, 11:31:40 PM
Your card is alerady overclocked. I have one of them myself. I would not own another. Might be good for gaming. But not for this kind of stuff. You have limits of how much you can down clock you mem. You can downclock 150 frrom original clock. After that you have to keep it at 100 at a time from core clock speed.
51  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5000 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: March 25, 2013, 11:28:00 PM
cool
I know what it is like to disconnect at end of round. It pisses you off. I don't get many shares anyway. I disconnect my score goes to nothing. All that work fort nothing. Don't pool hop. Just run one pool. Slush is always up. I have been mining with just 728 mhashs and made 350 in 2 a 1/2 months without price spike. He must be doing something right. I have a question slush? Why is my 6870 solve greater diffculty share than  my 5870?
52  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Overclocking Radeon HD 5830 on: March 14, 2013, 10:24:34 PM
Intensity 13 makes my cards fly. I have 40 boxs with 6 5870 in each.I never overclock past 960mhz though. Drop your memory to 300.It will save you 6 degres cen.
53  Bitcoin / Mining / Big blocks. on: March 14, 2013, 10:16:07 PM
Has anyone notices the block size after the fork. Mining was easy during the fork.To bad we didn't get payed for it. Bitcoin Qt. done a good job on block size.It did create bigger blockes.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto Found ~ Introducing the CMG on: March 12, 2013, 08:32:32 PM
Satoshi is a genius. He can remain unknown for all I care. We all mine for Bitcoins that he created the programs for. I agree, maybe he should remain unknown. Just for the reason, "legal problems". I thank him myself for Bitcoins. It pays my rent and feeds me. Plus has given me progamming skills that I didn't have before. I thank him for this. I don't think that he is Gavin though. If Gavin is Satoshi, he have had a big workload for years. Gavin works for Google at the present time. He also is promoting Linux programs and software. I can't see Gavin been Satoshi. HJe would be a busy man if he was. He would be to worn out to work on such a complex system a Bitcoin.
55  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [DB.RCLMR] DeepBit "Reclaimer" ASICs on: March 12, 2013, 04:24:05 AM
Josh, said that there was going to be testing units taken out of the wafers that he received in this batch. He said, "It will take 1000 of the 5000 that he has now. I still mine on GPU's. I get free electric. Made a little money so far. The CGminer developer had an all expense paid trip to BFL to give support to CGminer. There has been pictures taken of their lab. I have also seen them unloading the same pieces of contraption out of what looks like a semi trailer. They have a lab. They have machines that looked like they were going to be making something. I myself think that Josh is just young to business and he is having a hard time getting what he wants out of the companies that he is dealing with. Look for more posts from kolivas. He knows what is going on more than anyone. He may have worked with a proto-type or something.
56  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [4000 GH/s] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + UserDiff; ASIC tested on: March 10, 2013, 11:51:46 PM
Slush, I have noticed that at times I have trouble getting work from api. I have started to use port 3333 I will tell you if it does any better. I am using cgminer with stratum support. I have noticed the difficulty, I am not making much with my little 800 mhas setup. I have still managed to mine some coins though. Keep up the good work. I have also used eletrum wallet. I like the design of it. A smart person will not lose their wallet. Good thinking on that one. User difined thing you have going on is great thing if you are fast miner. I set mine higher than 1 and I get no share. Got any idea of why? Can I set it to 2 and get 2 shares? Will it hurt my income with my slow hash rate?
57  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having Troubles with GUIminer... on: February 20, 2013, 03:08:23 PM
You was a great help to me. It gave me 30 more hashes. This is good to know. Just don't understand why all of the script miners do better than the gui.  Phoenix miner is fast but is not really going to be supported nymore because of the getwork change. Stratum is changing everything. I guess if it is cheaper on pool operator. I have to deal with it. If it wasn't for pools right now. Small guys would not make any coins at all. Thanks for you post though. The heat is more than dynamic I have noticed. I will have to down clock cards. But that is cool. It will just make cards live longer.

58  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: What's the Highest Share you have found? on: February 14, 2013, 05:07:34 PM

60  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having Troubles with GUIminer... on: February 14, 2013, 04:42:52 PM
I myself have to down clock my cards when using cgminer. Gui seems to not give as many shares. Speed is 30 to 40 hashes more with  gui than cg. I don't know why. I am still toying with it. I will update thead if I discover anything that would be of use.
