1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: April 28, 2024, 01:14:58 AM
Indeed right, when you still seeing balance inside your bankroll you mostly thinks that you'll capable to make things profitable unknowingly doing something that already hurting your balance to the point that you already lose everything, you keep doing that same mistake as greed mostly dominated us, hoping and aiming for big profits instead of being contented with some amount of money that you already earn,.
People who gamble to win and become a source of income are thinking wrongly and need to be corrected. I'm not a gambling addict so I don't know how to be greedy in gambling to get bigger wins.

I do not think they will listen because they do not need to be corrected what they need is to realize how wrong they are with the thought of gambling to earn as their primary source of income..
As long that kind of mindset is still imprinted to their minds they will never get to listen what everybody is trying to say, this is base on my own personal experience with dealing to a person which was my former co-worker in the same department who quit and resigned his job because he hit big in gambling and he tried to continue his living by doing more of the gambling work. We have not seen for a long time now but I heard he is now working again to a different company in which he again started at the bottom position.
2  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale betting system on: January 05, 2024, 03:43:40 AM
Martingale method may work for few people that are lucky enough to recover the losses but for most people it will never work. Rather it will just going to make the losses become even more bigger. I will never ever recommend this to some for people who are worried about the losses they have made when they are planning to chase for it and try to take it back. I simply suggest to cool down call it a day and get to gambling on the other day or on the next day. It is hard to see people getting broke because of this common mistake.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does match fixing concern you often? on: December 17, 2023, 02:19:53 AM

What have your experiences about this been? Is match fixing considered a common occurrence in leagues you place bets at?

No experiences so far but fixed match are usually unnoticeable so nobody is going to be concerned of it. Again, nobody knows when or where will match fixing happens and with that we never know if it is pretty common to the league or not the least we can do is to suspect an unusual game to be a fixed match like when we see a stronger team being beaten pretty bad by worst team.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID is dead, "long live the new COVID". World economy get ready? on: December 11, 2023, 11:22:24 PM
Could it be side effects from having gotten Covid or the Covid vaccine? I had gotten the virus 3 times even though I did get the vaccine and booster and now two-three years later I have vascular problems.  I had it in my family tree but I did not suffer from it before.  I think the virus turned on the genetic switch.  Maybe that is what is going on in China.

Nobody's sure about the covid vaccination side effects though but one thing is for sure is that inheritance of any illnesses could come out anytime especially when you are getting older.
I have never heard about someone complaining about their health declining after they took the vaccination not even the old ones talking about those who are at the age of 60s to 80s.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 03, 2023, 09:31:11 AM
Naoya Inoue had no quarrels whether he will fight inside Japan, in US or in any other country. It's just that organizers and Bob Arum prefer to make the fight happen in Inoue's backyard because they might have already compared the revenues to other places and it's much more suitable for Inoue to challenge Fulton in Japan as that will generate more profits for them.

Inoue can have this fight in a US soil but I guess it is already established that more money can be made in Japan where Inoue is already an icon rather than in US where Fulton is not yet considered in that level.

I agree with that. Based on his records, we can see that most of his fights have taken place in Japan. However, he has also fought outside his country with the same dominant results. So it seems that the revenue generated from his fights matters a lot. In the world of boxing, the higher weight divisions tend to be the money makers, while Inoue's current division may not yet generate as much financial interest.

Nope, Inoue already has established a good name and he has been mentioned by several boxing legends and some active boxers as well. Whoever Inoue is facing it will always going to generate a good money because the boxing fans would come to see Inoue's performance.

A boxer who have an excellent skill sets can be easily become popular that will attract boxing fans.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 20, 2023, 09:01:42 AM

Question is:

What is the possibility of the betting agent getting his money soon/considering the gambler's low-income earnings?

Does his gambling space have permit to operate and a debt repayment structure form that is notarized? Coz if dont have it I am afraid that man who owns the gambling space will had to have a hard time asking that guy for a repayment. It is not that huge of an amount really when the total amount of his debt can be earned in just 4 days. All that owner have to do is to wait for the payday or at least give that man a 1 month time frame to make the repayment otherwise he is going be permanently ban in his gambling space.
They both have lapses on their end and no ones to be blamed here. They both have their own needs they are just complying to it. The owner needs profit and the gambler needs more money to gamble more and possible take back what he have lost.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: June 19, 2023, 09:02:09 AM
If the online casino accepts xrp that's what i am gonna use to save some transaction fees but most of the time i have definitely used bitcoin and only bitcoin. I usually convert it to usdt or any other stable coin right after i finished playing to avoid volatility to be able to have the same value when i get to it in the next morning.
I believe many people are also opting out to use bitcoin in their betting routine.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Take advantage of the price fall. on: June 12, 2023, 07:27:35 AM
Tell your friend not to worry about the bitcoin he bought as long as he do not sell it out of disappointment or trying to cut down losses on how much he have bought it. It is pretty normal for bitcoin price to rise and fall nobody knows it. The market is now falling maybe because of the bad sentiments in crypto space today but trust me it will never stay this way forever bitcoin will always have a time for bull season. Again tell your friend not to touch those bitcoins and keep it on hold we will get through this.
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 04, 2023, 11:31:27 PM
It is not safe, few motnhs ago incident has been happened and Rolbit Casino has send user VIP level-based bonuses to verified emails of Stake users. It is matter of glitch to get caught on such attack or agreement since some casinos may sell KYC userbase data to third-parties for making more money. Stake has never accepted their fault and the management has deleted related forum posts on the forum. That is why I don't trust online platforms when it is about my personal info.

It might not be safe but when you are only gambling with small amount of money i dont think you will become a target of such fraud? High value target are all those users who gambles large money thus it will catch the attention of the casino and perform a trick to lose your money.
That is very unfortunate it happens to someone. KYC is already flawed right before it was imposed.
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 28, 2023, 05:00:01 AM
Thank you all for your outputs. We all have our own opinion about how does being positive and composed all the time, like you are playing for fun affects the outcome of your bets.
Some thinks it didn't matter and some thinks it does, either of the two the main goal for gambling is to have fun and win of course. In my own experience I thought it's really difficult not to be concerned about winning than having fun.
11  Economy / Gambling discussion / Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 26, 2023, 12:14:18 PM
So i wanted to share the things i have noticed before when i was regularly visiting a land base casino during weekend and sometimes after work. I have noticed several times when a person was winning more than the usual in poker, i usually approach that person after he left the table what was his secret for those wins, i was literally surprised because 7 of 10 people whom i have asked answered they play gambling trying not to win but to have fun after a long tiring week of work or business.

Does anyone of you thought that playing for fun helps you think better and win with less effort especially in poker than having the mindset of trying to win? Because when you are trying your hard to win, it will make you overthink and that your mental state will get stressed out.
I think this will work for both land base and online casinos.
12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider spreading FUD to be unethical? on: February 08, 2023, 08:23:10 AM
There is no gray in area in spreading FUD's. It's all black area therefore, it is unethical.
I mean is there a time where spreading a FUD became ethical?

Absolutely unethical i agree to that but how about the people who knew well about the crypto market? I think they secretly wish weak hands will bite into the FUD to bring bitcoin price down and they can buy at a cheaper price. All of us here might say the same thing that spreading FUD is unethical but we cannot blame those people who are spreading bad news because there are also people that doesnt do their own research before investing.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 27, 2022, 08:35:03 AM
Many times I heard bad stories about gambling experiences of people who are in need of money. Most of these stories are about people who are hard to satisfy honestly. We should never forget resources in world are limited and you can't win everything. I suggest people to gamble with low share of their wealth or wage and always consider quitting at one point even if you keep losing. Losing is part of gambling experience you should understand this clearly.

This are the things some people that gambles failed to realize. Gambling is fun but only gamble with enough money that will not make you put in a misery once you lost it. Just like in trading, invest or put money on it which you can afford to lose.
Gambling stories are full of losses because the reality of it is only the casinos are the real winners. Gamblers constantly lossing their money once they losses control of their expenditures regarding the gambling activities.
14  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 21, 2022, 03:07:03 AM
Biggest news in the NBA today… LeBron has finally decided to go bald. No more crazy headband and hair plugs. I think this can only be a good thing for him. I’m expecting Bald Bron to go hard this year, as his championship window is rapidly closing. I’m glad his hairline won’t be a distraction any more. It seemed like that was taking up more of his time than it should have been.

That was crazy. Father time is indeed calling him not through his physical capacity but with his hair on his head. The hairline did not held back for long and just decided to get bald.
I am excited for the next season because there are a lot of young bloods who does looks promising. I wanna see how the old players like Lebron would catch up to the new generation players.
15  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: September 12, 2022, 11:37:11 PM
every promotion carried out by gambling sites has a large enough abuse loophole and it's not just 1 or 2 gambling sites that have experienced this. it's difficult for gambling sites to prevent this, especially those that don't require KYC, the gap for abuse is getting bigger, the problem is that gambling sites that require KYC will be deserted because people prefer non-KYC. the conclusion is that no one is to blame!!

So that is the reason why gambling as a whole bears a lot of risk. Not only for the gamblers but also for the one implementing the gambling activities. They will do anything to their power to get more users on their website. Bonuses and other stuff like that are always subject for abuse. Because people always finds a way how to get everything for free while monetising at the same time.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What If Bitcoin Fall?? on: August 11, 2022, 02:50:29 PM

The bad consequences of bitcoin falling and continue to fall for those people or investors who invest to cryptocurrency, the worst that is going to happen to them is to lose all the cryptocurrencies. I believe that Bitcoin can never fall and die off because the technology used to build cryptocurrency is something that is very confusing to people not to know the secret behind it development and recorrection of the the technical development. Bitcoin can not fall to be crashed forever and if it will happen it's not something of this year.

To date, bitcoin is the most reliable coin in the crypt, and if it happens that bitcoin falls, then the trust in all cryptocurrencies will drop very much. I can't believe it will happen and what's the point? I read somewhere some a crazy idea that everything that exists now will collapse and another new coin will replace bitcoin that will replace everything, it’s hard to believe in it and who will believe in the crypt if there is no bitcoin...

For me, big investors have a big value in their bags because that's what they can afford to lose. Bitcoin also is the most secured of all and with big hopes that it will last. If bitcoin falls, there will be always a bright side and dark side of it because those who've gained help because of bitcoin, have been very grateful for this coin. While on the other hand, newly starting investors will accept it as lesson.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐️Share Your Winnings Story. Why do people gamble?⭐️ on: August 08, 2022, 02:52:11 PM
I wish I had a big winning story to tell, unfortunately most of my winnings are fairly small compared to what other users manage to win. I tend to bet smaller sizes to reduce the risk of losing large amounts. That is why my profit is also relatively small. For me it's fine, I got used to control my gambling budget and still enjoy smaller winnings. Overall I managed to make some decent profit from gambling, but that is over several years and not one lucky gambling night. The chances of cracking a jackpot are relatively small and it might never happen, still I am not giving up the hope. That is why gambling is a mixture of entertainment, coming from adrenaline after winning a big hand, and a wish for being lucky and making money.

Me too I have a very bad luck in gambling that's why I distract myself from gambling to doing things I like. But there's always a temptation with their great win of gambling and that's the reasom I keep falling to my hopes of getting instant wealth. Even though I got into gambling, I have still managed to get out by focusing on working for my daily needs.
18  Economy / Economics / Re: Do cash control spending more than digital or crypto currency? on: August 08, 2022, 02:24:42 PM
People are going back to cash because they believe that it keeps tighter control on their spending as living costs soar.

It is believed that cash helps people budget, as using it means you literally can count the pennies. Paying with a card or crypto currency make spending easy and convenient that sometimes one tends to overspend. Sometimes one might not even know the balance of his account but with cash you are always aware of how much you have.

What do you think?

What happens to me is the complete opposite. I can control properly my spending if it's on a digital wallet. I can easily monitor on the application's dashboard what I have and only withdraw how much I really need. If it's on fiat, I easily spend it until I will just realized that I'm almost running out of money. I guess it also depends on where country you are. If business establishments there still prefer the traditional way of payment then having digital money or crypto will help you to spend less.

In my case, digital wallet or transactions can be one tap away and it can be affected by your mood, boredom and frustration. Sometime you need a bit of fun and you'll go gambling with your digital wallet and sometimes you will lose and at the end of the day you'll regret that you've spent it on some boredom stuff. But in the other hand digital wallet can also give you convenience when doing errands and transaction you'll not need to go outside or physically present.
19  Economy / Gambling / Re: How do you know how to trust online sportsbooks? on: August 07, 2022, 04:16:33 PM
Did he mention Google to search about the casino reviews? Nope, he mention about this forum.

The thing is most people are using google and they're trust the first to third domain since it's a popular sites, this forum has low traffic and people were interested in this forum because of Bitcoin or crypto, not crypto gambling.

We can't prevent this kind problem and most newbie getting end up being scammed, after that they will learn to search more deeply.
Relying on google search feature is not recommended to find the best review sites, website developer optimizes the keywords for the first page of google without details considering the casino listings in the content, even though this forum has low search traffic about crypto gambling but we can increase forum traffic by installing ANN casino links on article content for trusted discussion reference sources.
I agree with that as reviews can be fake, a forum like bitcointalk is a good source, no gambling site here which has an ANN thread that has a biased feedback, we can read real feedback based on the experience of different gamblers, so why not just stick to our beloved forum for reviews?

I strongly agree, because scammers nowadays invests a lot of money for their scamming scheme and it can make their website look very legit. They will hire or create dummy subscribers to make reviews and rate stars and suddenly a legit-looking website will appear and you will not notice something fishy because of its presenstation.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: August 07, 2022, 02:53:00 PM
these young people told me that they got interested because it was their parents who encouraged them to come for me to teach them about what I was doing with bitcoins and their parents said that even though I am not employed or unemployed, I can still pay my monthly billings, rental house, internet bill, electricity, and water bill within 6 years.

So my only request to the other members here in this forum is to teach me what can be taught to them that I may not know at the moment, although I am not an expert here but only basic thing about bitcoin that I share with my acquaintances here in the community I'm in. So you are free to provide additional knowledge on this matter and I am willing to accept it because I am also one of those who are still learning about bitcoin.

You should tell them how you earn with bitcoin and make them aware about what you've been doing for 6 years is not that simple. The only reason why those parents agreed to teach their kids is they think that you can easily earn from it since you are doing it at the comfort of your home. They should be aware that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are not a get rich-quick scheme like how some of the investment schemes portray it.

I strongly agree to it because being involved in a crypto world needs a long time or run for experience and a year isn't enough to full understand. The market seems to be the very subject of it and it requires a lot of patience and understanding. If a person really wants to learn he or she will make extra time to get information.
