Its not that the governments is against bitcoin, it is actually the government being problematic about the taxes, since bitcoin has no relation or is neutral to a country the government does not cover any of it, which means the government wont have any benefits from it, and this is the reason or one of the reasons why governments and bitcoin does not cope up with each other, take note not all governments has illegalized bitcoin, as a matter of fact a lot of countries have gain trust with bitcoin and has legalized them for the good of the country.
Not all over the world, not every Government think negative against bitcoins. Do not count those, Government look forward there's some more Country Governments who are supporting bitcoins. Actually its not our problem if Government banned the bitcoins, its decentralized and nothing in government hand. About the reason, Bitcoin has some disadvantages which can destroy the economy of that country. So just for the sake of their reputation government against Bitcoins. |

Recently, KFC Canada has accepted Bitcoin payments for a short period of time. However, Bitcoin can only be used to place orders online, and only to purchase a new item called "Bitcoin Bucket". And all this special deal will be handled by Bitpay, a fairly common Bitcoin trading tool. Its really interesting news, I wish that I can also buy chicken with Bitcoin in my coutry.  Great news bitcoin is growing and after restaurant and schools, KFC also take a part and accepting bitcoin as payment. Hope it can affect bitcoin price and the supply decrease more. |

China has a huge market for bitcoin, earlier lot of Chinese were there in the crypto market, once China banned bitcoin users were reduced. Now again we have a news that ICO legalization so it could definitely create positive impact on the market. I think china is one the country where bitcoin is very popular amount the people and you can't stop people of china from not using bitcoins and participating in ICO. Sooner or later China has to realize this and they will have to lift this Ban. |

Hey guys,
In order to benefit, will I have to cash out bitcoin when it gets high? That would mean i would have to sell it for dollar or other currency.
When i am buying online with coin, if it says the shirt is for $25, will they calculate how much $25 is worth in BTC at the current market rate or
how much it originally started with? If its at the current market rate, then whats the point of bitcoin if i am not profitting?
This is the nature of bitcoin. You have to cash out for benefit. Buying in low price and sell it in high can only gives you profit other wise hold them until you get the reward of holding and patience. Actually there's no point of holding bitcoin for Forever, Hold bitcoin is good but you should not be greedy if you feel the price is up you have to sell on that time. The store should accept the bitcoin or you have to exchange it with fiat for buying. |

Hi All,
Please help me understand in plain English how will we benefit from so many currencies?
I see so many startups with decentralized blockchain ideas with their own crypto currency.
Today I purchased oatmeal directly from a mill at their website.
This mill sells its products thru grocers and other online stores as well.
They probably gave 3% to the credit card company, which they could reduce by using blockchain.
But if every store and every business starts creating their own currency, then I will have to go thru an exchange to convert BTC or ETH to that coin to make some purchase.
Then we would need miners to process all those transactions in various coins.
Why can't they just use ETH? Just like all IPOs use dollars.

There's many currencies. All other are called Altcoins. Anyone can make there own, But you should always remember most of them are scam. Better to stuck with bitcoins and ETH. Bitcoin is the most famous currency if you're looking to invest you can chose this one. ETH isn't currency but most of people consider it as well. |

The Fork will be in about Six Weeks from now but we are already seeing high price rise in burst coin. I think it will continue to rise for all this time period and we shall be crossing the All time high.  |

as of today (when I write) bitcoin price are back up from it's critical loss ranging from 9019$ to 9074$ does this the topic that we should talk about now! From my perspective it is coming impossible to none to some small businessmen when regard to investing, a lot of investor would doubt the volatile price charts that where given up to us for the past two or three weeks. it is also hard to make a prediction to some local exchange site btc/eth, btc/bcc, btc/$... and so on I will put it as friendly as possible but this could be the time most of us will surely fail to achieve her/his goal. gambling,trading,investing,etc..   This could be the start of good or something much more sinister foreboding. The prices are hovering between 900 - 940$ and we are waiting for btc to cross 9500$ mark. Once we are above 9700$ we can see a big bull run in BTC prices. |

I am looking for telegram channels particulary news channels to stay updated with the crypto world. plz help
Cointelegraph has a telegram group, called One Minute Letter. Google for it. it will give you a brief summary of the daily news. I think Reddit communities are also a great source of news, as there are many users there who are sharing news of different newspapers. I mostly prefer social media like Facebook and twitter. I like to follow groups too and pages. Most of them are top on my status. Whenever i login into my Facebook account i saw many article and news relate to crypto currency. I gain a lots of information from them which people share. |

Everyone in the crypto space has had people tell them that Bitcoin is worthless or that it doesnt have any true value.
Of course, thats infuriating to hear, but for investors new to the space, its sometimes hard to craft a good answer.
So heres a little cheat sheet for any newbies out there who get this question or accusation:
1. Bitcoin is safe. It cant be hacked because its decentralized.
2. Bitcoin eliminates layers of transaction fees.
3. Bitcoin is fast (especially after the lightning upgrade).
4. Bitcoin provides more privacy than normal transactions.
5. Bitcoin hedges against stupidity from central banks and governments.
6. Bitcoin cant be counterfeited.
7. Bitcoin isnt tied to other asset classes and is a hedge against other investments.
In short, Bitcoin solves massive problems with the financial and political world, and that is its value.
And because its the most tested and has first mover advantage, it has been established as a store of value, much like digital gold.

Mostly people in my country are aware about the bitcoin and they all are interesting to invest in bitcoin. They do trade, Mining, buy/sell bitcoins. I believe my country plays important part in bitcoin life. Our media also supporting it every day i heard news about bitcoin. But not our government, Like other they're still against it and looking to down bitcoins but still i will buy it for my future.

Bitcoin is not just a life saver but also a life changer. Before, I don't know anything about investment. I'm just a minimum wage earner and my salary is most of the time insufficient to my needs. My family is struggling financially. When Bitcoin was introduced to my life, everything changed. At first, I invested a very little portion of my salary to HYIP and gambling hoping that my life will change instantly as what those sites promised me but I was scammed multiple times. It was devastating so I decided to stop investing on Bitcoin. After a few months, I saw some posts on social media on how Bitcoin changed a person's life so I decided to give it another try but this time, I will make sure to invest in myself first and study more about cryptocurrency. I learned about this forum and from here, I learned more things about Bitcoin specially on trading and investments. Now, I cannot say that I'm completely financially free but I can say that I'm already earning more than enough for me and my family's needs.
Bitcoin gave me another hope about life. There are times when we are feeling wasted and wants to give up but before you give up, ask your self first if you already did your best. There are times that we will definiyely lose and people will ruin our dreams but that is not a reason to stop. Just like on my experience, I got scammed but after a few months, I gabe it another shot. If I gave up, I might still ne struggling financially.
Life will definitely throw you lemons. All we need to do is learn how to make it into lemonade. I'm very thankful to Bitcoin. To all investors out there, just invest on your self first and I assure you, you'll get profit from it!

Yes, This is the right strategy for me too. I also know that big whales are also collecting bitcoins slowly and steadily at this period of downfall of bitcoins. Bitcoin is not going anywhere , neither it is in danger. It will give nice profits again to those who collect it cheap for now. |
