Criminals use everything with value to finance their illegal activities. Bitcoin is only one of the many value tools that they can use.
So, yes. Bitcoin is being used for criminal activities.
many bad people or criminals use fiat and the other currencies often to make the illegal activities before the Bitcoin's create. So we can't accuse the bitcoin's currency to being used for illegal purposes. |

All the skeletons it has. Big exchanges going down, ponzi schemes, scams, drugs and so on..
Instability in its price is to me the least favorite thing about bitcoin.Another one is it require miners to confirm your transaction and if you dont add fat fee to your sending amount.. |

I try to stay away from random websites offering daily interest rates for my deposited Bitcoins. I don't want to call scam but I have been burnt in the past by such ponzi schemes and I am now on high alert because similar websites are popping up like mushrooms every day. Plus you have no protection for your money once you have sent your Bitcoins you can't get anything back if the owners decide to run for the hills with all the cash.
If comes a bitcoin bank it will destroy the bitcoin for good, the bitcoin is for self control not to be controlled, it would be very stupid to have a bitcoin bank. |

I just wanted to get your opinions on this one , what do you think Bitcoin would be if there was no Alternative coins such Litecoin & Dogecoin and the others ...
I mean it would be better with or without them Bitcoin would have no value at all ?
bitcoin will going better,very very better. bitcoin ust have like private exhange,just trade bitcoin and other currecny,its sweet. but the problem is,you will not find any giveaway in other altcoin  But most of those few could not have existed without this trend of making altcoins. I know, it makes it very hard for a newcomer to see what to invest in, maybe it's hard for quite experienced ones too. |

Start gambling. I lost only like 3 dollars but it was still the worst mistake, as I knew that I wouldn't make money but decided to try anyway, since it was earned from faucets.
Lol I bet and lost a few BTC at once before it shot up to $1000. at least I was less mad when it came back down. Its hard to earn at faucet and the bitcoin that you earn there is really precious it must have really hurt losing that amount. invested my bitcoin to scam cloud mining then i used my bitcoin for gambling. That's bad enough. |

I think it has many advantages even without considering criminal activity, Privacy which is so valued in our current time is better in bitcoin than in banks and the like even if not completely anonymous, Also the fees for doing payments is relatively low IMO.
nice think about bitcoins just so low taxes if you give money to other country. The only problem is that the most people don't know how to use it. |

i just wish to see price soar above 450 so that i could sell some coins off. i just missed the time a few months back when it soared above 550 and dropped back to this level. i just wish it would happen one day so that i could empty my wallet
The price only peaked at $502 at most of the exchanges, not sure where you get $550 from. If you just have some patience, then you'll see the price reach higher price levels than $450. I think around the time of the block halving that we will see a price of at least $500. Everyone has the same hope and value will bounce and cross the margin of 400$ by the end of this month. This has been predicted based on the fall in the last few days. |

No its not time to sell but in fact there is a chance it will be good because the future of the bitcoin itself is very insecure if you ask me right ?
The halving is also coming and it will let the price rise for sure without any doubts, this year.

It sure can everything is possible. But we have to realistic, I do not think that it is going to happen anytime soon.
$800 is pretty high and we are now only at around $400.
Yeah right once to reach that figure this year I think is also very difficult to see now the figure is still far short of the $ 800. Maybe one or two years to reach that number. But I wish the best for all of us. could reach $800 but it doesn't mean it will stay at such price. It could go down depending to the traders if majority will sell at that price point or will Sell walls occur at a higher price. |

I am stocking up now. 2016 is going to be the year that BTC comes back to the thousands $ in price.
Yes. Nothing to get surprised as it is highly expected one. Bitcoins price will going to bounce back to it previous lifetime higher price. The main reason for the price bounce back would be halving. The halving in bitcoin will dictate is new price and will just stay there playing around that margin,we hope to profit by that time. it is most likely that a majority of the price difference caused by the halving has already been priced in to the current value of Bitcoin, and thus there likely will not be another major upswing for a while.. |

nothing is certain with bitcoin but the chances of a big profit is high.
if you believe in bitcoin and read about it you will find out that it has real potential that can make the price go very high and help getting a lot of profit.
bitcoin is the best financial tool man has ever created If the Bitcoin's price increase with time as expected so holding Bitcoin a long time worth this, but if the prices get down for any reason we will lose,. i think its depending in the future prices.. |

I suggest you go with trading. So far so good for me, you just have to call the right shots to earn. If you got a big cash right there in your pocket, try bitcoin mining as well. Though I might not recommend it that much since we're almost there to the 21 million bitcoin limit mark and the electricity costs may be a burden, at least you get to have your own bitcoin
I also need more suggestions as I am also looking for more options on where I can put my money as well.

based on my experience, even though I know investing on investments (whether a ponzi or whatever) is more risky than investing on p2p lending sites, I would still choose ponzis and hyips over those p2p lending sites. |

The way I feel with gambling, it comes in the form of the bigger issue.
Is any form of addiction becomes a problem? so the bigger truth would be, how do we get rid of addictions.. lol.
everybody has a gambling problem if they gamble. People will get addicted to it and they cant stop and must find distractions I think. So you can stop gamble. |

Gambling is addicitive only if you have some kind of greed inside. I know we all have it, me too, but the trick is to suppress the greed. If you can do that gambling is not addicting, it's fun like any other game.
Debt Persuaded to get easy money and the fear of debt that you can lead to addiction to gambling. This is especially true if you've got some small victories. You will continue to gamble to get the money you need to pay your debts. But, sometimes you can not stop there and you are even more exposed to debt when your winning streak ended. |

I think there are a lot of people is holding their Bitcoin for a good price increase and some people are now also even make an investment because they believe that it will rise later.
But personally I am not for sure that it will rise in the future, because you also can see that the value is now not even rising so that will be not good.
As said most users believe bitcoin will increase by the time of halving or by the months after halving, So most users are continuously trying to earn large number of bitcoins at the earliest. Every people who hold Bitcoin until this are rich Grin I am holding bitcoin for the long term fundamentals. I think it will rise over time. |
