21  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: July 26, 2021, 02:07:42 PM
Always recommend them Bitcoin but do not force them to buy let them make their own decision based on the merit of Bitcoin alone and not because of the price try to tell them this when you are recommending it to them.
22  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KickEx and KickToken, what can you say? on: July 26, 2021, 02:06:06 PM
Only use exchanges which are trusted and Kickex and kicktoken look like low quality scams which have put no effort into their platform.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how can i find alt coins before they explod on: July 26, 2021, 02:03:41 PM
Listen to Elon Musk /s

The only way to find out if a project is going to explode would be by looking at the whitepaper and seeing if they have any potential in their features that they offer and then invest based on that but that is risky.
24  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Convince me that bounties paying in anything other than Bitcoin are worth it on: July 26, 2021, 02:01:17 PM
We need established members to negative tag any bounties which are promising gains when they are offering stakes because at that time it is not guaranteed that you will earn on them. Some bounties are saying that you can earn $40 a week and then they are paying with their own tokens which are not worth anything but they have just made up a number what their tokens are worth I wish on the forum we are more strict and negative tag these scammers.
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful what you choose to invest in now, not all coins will recover. on: July 26, 2021, 01:57:12 PM
New coins and projects should not be given the hype they crave for. You feed them with hype, they will expand further and draw more of a crowd and essentially scam more people. It is true, similar thing happened with the ICO craze back in 2016-2017 when everyone was coming with a new idea for an ICO and people blindly followed them putting in a hundred dollars for each one hoping to see gains.

But it all crumbled down to nothing when the fact came into light that ICO tokens were not securities nor equities and once the team decided to show its true colours, the investors were the one who were scammed off their money.

Similarly, hype is what pushed up the DeFi and NFT craze. People who are thinking about investing in these because bitcoin is beyond their reach are being foolish.
The best thing about 2022 coming closer is NFT's are going to be dead and we wont have to hear about them anymore.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What goes up must come down on: July 26, 2021, 01:56:00 PM
The price of cryptocurrency is down accross board and I believe this trend will continue until market correct itself! This is going to be a long journey and cryptocurrency traders and investors should prepare for this long winter! It will be easier for those that took profit from the market ath! Those who do not take profit will have to wait it out or find a job to sustain themselves!
Sorry but I think it depends on how the influence drives it price. When you think that market sentiment is dieing, some influencers would just ignite the market and then it will start pumping. Though I have observed that despite the external influences, the market still look bearish but that doesn't make it bullish. The institution wouldn't want there investment burn and be at a loss.
There is high hance that the market may rebound to the upside if the news momentum news keep coming. Traders and investors are now move by Elon and others.
You made a mistake by calling them "investors" instead call them idiots because if they are listening to Elon and only invested in Bitcoin because he said its good now then they are dumb and will be the first to sell when Bitcoin hits a hard period.

The energy is there. The potential is there. Just one small push...

https://youtu.be/YXn08b5Illo

You know... we are a very ungrateful lot.

We act like the central banks are not on our side.  But they are the ones who have done all the hard work setting up the dominoes.  They stored all that potential energy for us.

Let us pause a moment in gratitude for the Central Banks.

Lol.  Hahahahaha.  Haaaa.  No... Really ... Fuck them.
I was REALLY worried you being serious then Cheesy
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THE BULL RIDE OF 2021 on: July 26, 2021, 11:56:56 AM
Late bull run for Bitcoin to hit $80000 what a time to be alive with amazon and bezos promoting Bitcoin in a good way that is going to boost the market and we just need more companies big companies to accept to get over 100000.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market is recovering, what steps are you taking? on: July 26, 2021, 11:55:32 AM
Buying as many Bitcoin as I can manage and keeping them for a long time to come altcoins will probs benefit from the run that Bitcoin is going to go on but not as much as Bitcoin.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about Sushiswap ? on: July 26, 2021, 11:54:34 AM
Binance just listed that token because they want the trading fees from users like your friend who are riding the DeFi hype. Not all projects in there are legit and if you want to check how it's performed after the hype - https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/sushiswap/historical-data/

Binance are enabling the scammers to which is shady behavior from them why do people keep giving their business to shady companies like Binance? They have a monopoly on the exchanges for altcoins but they are corrupt.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 26, 2021, 11:51:27 AM
just a little tought about peak cycles

2013 we had 2 waves

2017 it was one big wave, but longer

2021 two cycles again(maybe three), what if, when we have two cycles, the time will be shorter like 2013.

otherwise people think every cycle will be longer, we just see 2 data points and extrapolate it.
in 6 Months or in 12 we know for sure

Happy Pumpy monday everyone
Be prepared for 12 months time when you get showered in merits for predicting it for sure.
32  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How should we retail investors respond to hacker attacks? on: July 26, 2021, 11:49:35 AM
Any organization or company should be keeping as many Bitcoin of theirs offline in secure storage that is the best possible defense against hackers of their platforms. The rest of the man power should focus on making their platform secure and prevent the hack in the first place but if it does happen at least their coins will be safe.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is looking to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of the year on: July 26, 2021, 11:20:03 AM
This reminds me what happened with paypal because before they added bitcoin to their wallet functionalities 6 months prior we had a few rumors around it. I'm not saying it's the same with amazon but seeing how the market reacted that must be some small truth behind the news.
the market will react just because of the rumors it does not mean that they know what is going on inside of Amazon.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon is looking to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of the year on: July 26, 2021, 10:20:49 AM
This would be huge if it were true and set new records for the price of Bitcoin.

It should be emphasized that these are just rumors, nothing has been officially announced yet. In addition, it should not be forgotten that the option to pay in BTC does not automatically mean that people will use it en masse, because most still see cryptocurrencies as a store of value, or a long-term investment. Plus, even if the news is true - Amazon obviously doesn’t consider BTC a good enough solution given that it’s working on creating its own token.

Until the official announcement, I advise caution, the market has obviously reacted strongly - but the trend can be reversed very quickly if the news is officially denied by Amazon.
It's amazing that you could buy groceries and other things that are not possible now that amazon are selling of course people would use it I would use it.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 26, 2021, 10:09:30 AM
We getting rich guys Smiley

Big names reporting earnings this week. Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Tesla, & Google are all set to repot. Could they have some news about expanding balance sheets or positive comments about accepting Bitcoin in the future? With the price action already this week you know they’ll be asked about it. I think we could see the groundwork laid for some fireworks.
We only need 2 of them to offer Bitcoin payments and the fireworks begin.

This is crazy absolutely nuts

Maybe some people never seen a microwave over or what 2.4 GHz can do.
Have device close to brain on left and right side is absolutly nuts

Ok so I presume you don't drive a car but ride a horse instead? You don't watch TV or listen to the radio because these devices emit harmful radiation? Internet is also dangerous because your wifi is frying your brain while you're typing this message? Don't forget about your phone and it's harmful GSM and 4G waves. Not even mentioning your house made of harmful concrete, fillers and plaster? Clothes, food etc etc etc  Grin

So, you are saying that " drive a car", "watch TV or listen to the radio", living in a house made of " harmful concrete, fillers and plaster" is the same thing as exposing yourself to microwaves?
He's pointing out that there are a lot of bad things but we don't die from them every day. The average lifespan of human s is >75 years. I think we're good.

38  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin go down below $20,000. on: July 25, 2021, 09:03:54 PM
If bitcoin isn't able to breach $40k by the ongoing quarter of the year, then for sure we'll see bitcoin sitting on $20k. Maybe what I state is just an assumption, but there is more possible chances for it to happen. I believed the market to reach less than $30k, if happened and in a quote an user have mentioned Bitcoin won't stay stable above 10 consecutive days. Same as that Market behaved, maybe its a coincidence or can be precise prediction. In this way I believe the market will test $20k.
It is a assumption with nothing to back up your cases and is useless for what reason do you figure Bitcoin will hit 20k what are your explanations behind explicitly 20k?

Ditch the tin foil - aluminum foil is the way to go. Stops the voices too!

Those of us "in the know" have had the aluminum foil surgically implanted under our scalps. Far less noticeable, easier to deal with, and the crinkly sound when we brush our hair is pretty neat!

Where do I order one?
40  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcointalk.org losing user base? on: July 25, 2021, 02:50:21 PM
I had to I quote and answer that tweet :
Bitcointalk moved to Reddit? I do not believe that if you go to the sub reddit of bitcoin and type in Bitcointalk all the members there do is talk bad things about Bitcointalk I would see the subreddit as a competitor instead of where the old members of this forum went.
