a Raspberry Pi is actually a kind of mini personal computer(technically). so no it can not mine bitcoins as because normal computers do not have enough power to face the current bitcoin difficulty and a Raspberry Pi of course very outdates and doesn't stand a chance but if you buy a mining rig then I assume you can connect it with your Raspberry Pi and can control it at so low cost.
(Excluding Mining)
Running a node is a great idea. I'll look into it. Thanks.

What all, related to Bitcoin, can you do with a Raspberry Pi? (Excluding Mining) I have an extra raspberry pi, that I don't know what to do with.

I am hoping that soon two or more countries would be following the steps taken by Japan relative to Bitcoin accepting it as a form of currency and this resulted with many exchanges to be opened soon. Japan is a good country because they realized early on that Bitcoin can bring on many economic benefits.
India's next. Our government is working on legalizing Bitcoin and regulating Bitcoin companies. what we need IMO is acceptance of the bitcoin as a legal currency but also respect from the authorities towards it's functioning and that they don't seek contronl of it.
No government trusts what they can't control and they can't control Bitcoin.

What's the problem in creating a payment gateway for buying bits just like Ecom sites.
Payment gateways don't provide service to Bitcoin related businesses yet due to the legality of Bitcoin at the moment. So, no Bitcoin business can implement a gateway on their site. I did see someone use a gateway on their site, but they are not selling anymore. Not sure how they were able to do it. Here's a link of their site: https://www.tbit.in/

This is what I do: 1. Do a clean install of your OS on your laptop/pc. (Do not connect it to the internet.) 2. Download Bitaddress.org's generator from here: https://github.com/pointbiz/bitaddress.org (Using another laptop) 3. Create a paper wallet and store the priv key on paper/usb etc. 4. Transfer funds.

Just installed your application. Like the name.
It's a simple price ticker as of now.
Are you planning to add portfolio and charts in the application?

Just signed up for the site. Looks great. Is there any way that I can hide my profile, so that others can't see where I've invested my coins along with how much I've invested? I'd love to see those features next, too. it would be great if we could hide our profile along with how much we've invested etc. But, it's up to dev, the website is already realy great. Looking forward for what's to come. Now you can make your profile private! Video how to change to hidden profile: https://puu.sh/w6AJ8/84fbce3e3b.mp4Awesome! Thanks for adding that feature. Works like a charm.

The bottom right picture in the OP, the coin looks to be "copper"-ish? Is this a special coin? Or maybe it is the gold one in different lighting? Thanks The bottom right corner is the same as the one in the left of the image above that. My phone's camera is not the best. Regards
