If the 500 BTC donations aren't completed, you'll distribute the 5M coins between current holders, right?

Author is Dr. Han Feng from Tsinghua University.
Many unknown details about the development of ASIC miners since 2011 are disclosed by the report for the first time.

Full report(in Chinese):  http://www.8btc.com/blockchain-miner

I'd like to read this,
Can anyone translate?

Google translate isn't working.
1285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How instamine works?? on: May 19, 2016, 08:32:40 AM
My first question is how instamine works??

And the coin having instamine, does its difficulty in mining increases with time or always remains low?

Instamine refers to a situation when most of the coins are mined in the first few blocks, giving the benefit to the devs or the "very early" supporters.
The block reward is very high on launch & reduces significantly in a few blocks.

Hope that helps.
1286  Economy / Collectibles / Re: How to check the Public key of a Lealana 1 LTC coin? on: May 19, 2016, 08:08:29 AM
Hey guys,

I purchased a Lealana 1 LTC coin few days ago from wheelz1200.
I was wondering, how do I get the public key for the coin?

Is there a way to check it online?
@cryptoheadd , when weelz1200 will give you the entire public adress ( as quickseller have said to you, with a list pgp signed  from smoothie to attest it's an original public key ) , you can check it  here:  http://explorer.litecoin.net/ , or as said above , on blockr.io.

@quickseller : is the chances of a collision  just using the first  6 digits  of the public adress are really hight ?  Roll Eyes

Hey Defcon,

Thank you for your reply.
Wheelz has already given me the address. It's LY1YvwasnwkvLbnzD2wMN3pvffodAzZCiu. Grin

I retract my bid.
Just saw that I need atleast a 100 activity.   Undecided

Yes, I noticed your sub-100 activity when you placed the bid, but I was going to make an exception for you since you're an established and valued customer of The Bitcoin Penny Co. Wink

However, I'll be happy to consider the bid retracted, if you like. Smiley

Regards,
Chris

Hey Chris,
Thanks a lot.

If I can place a bid then - 0.099.
If not, that's okay as well. Grin
1293  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: How is Trestor still running? Is it a scam still? on: May 18, 2016, 05:12:11 PM
@cryptoheadd
1. According to your logic, if there is a broken page on a website, it's a scam. Tongue
2. As per the current rates, the market rate of Trests is Around 1.5Bn USD. If you do not understand markets, exchange rates and how they work; I can take a small session to help you understand. Just that, we are not yet listed on coinmarketcap.
3. You are as well invited to meet us or have a call, provided you are willing to understand instead of jumping directly to conclusions.

I'm sorry but you need to work on your reading skills.
I never said that it's a scam BECAUSE there's a broken webpage.

I'm not trying to insult you, and I'm not jumping to conclusions.
I said it's a scam, because you think that trests are worth USD 1.5 Billion.

Do you know what the market cap of Ethereum is?
It's USD 1 Billion.

Care to explain why you're worth more than ETH?

Thank you for sharing. Too much hate is going on for those who do not have any eth.

Just tested with 50 ethers and its working great.

I hope you're trolling.
Because nobody would be dumb enough to test a new site with 50 Ethers.

Also, if you did get the USD, keep in mind that paypal transactions are reversible.

Yep! If they really paid you, there are always chances that they're paying at start to trap more fishes. When they get enough, they can raise dispute at anytime (Now don't tell me it's not anytime, dispute can only be raised within 45days or so).

That's still Roach you're talking to btw.  And yes, the OP is also Roach.

Hahaha.
Tokeweed. You high, bro?  Grin

Hey,

Under my Bitcointalk UID, it says: "banned by Btalk moderator".
Why am I getting this?

Its not trolling.

I did it, i got the payment to my paypal from third party  company so i guess there will be no way for reverse.

Proof?

1299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 18, 2016, 04:27:34 PM
Obviously having backups in other places too..

I guess it would be a great experiment.
You can store the Bitcoins on the floppy disk (with safer backups). It would be great to see if the floppy disk still works after 15 years.
1300  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are floppy disks safe to store wallets? on: May 18, 2016, 04:16:18 PM
Haha.
I'd never recommend you to store your wallet.dat files on a floppy disk.
If you're planning to store it for a long term, Floppy disk readers would be an antique in the near future.
