Lisk making great progress since I've checkd their repositories on Github: https://github.com/LiskHQ/lisk-sdk/projects
SDK 4.0 finished and ready to be released, which has a new voting system and new fee system.
SDK 5.0 is also almost finished.

Javascript is a bad coding language, look at IOST a platform for javascript dapps but it lacks community support.

lol. can't be that bad if most devs are using it. javascript is the most used programming language on github.

Is there rely hope holding this coin, Lisk to me seems to be lagging behind and most of these new projects have crowded the market and steal the marketshare from it, if things continue this way, I will need to call it a day with this project and dump my tokens, nothing so far so cheer about this project
but as to 'buying' and HODL'ing LISK as such now...er....not so attractive...IMHO.

the same people said 2016. it went from 20 cents to 38 dollar. not it is 2 dollar and can go easily to 40 again with next big crypto pump. you just have to look how many shitcoins were pumped december 2017. same can lisk do.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: February 27, 2019, 09:48:04 PM
is anyone still using lisk?

good question. I left months ago.
we would like to know practical uses of this coin.

What are you whining about? Ever tried to build a working functional dapp platform? Even Charles Hoskinson from Cardano team said a year ago that no one should expect a working product till 2020 on Cardano platform.

do I understand from your phrase that there is no working product until now for lisk ?

it appears that nobody is answering this central question.

i think they have and it would appear to be a no.

so apparently nobody to fight for lisk here.

Just to add 'wood' to this fire. I've never seen an anyone using javascript with LISK on this thread ever. You'd think at least SOMEONE
would be on here saying how they are messing with it?

'what if you build a coin for javascript developers and no one shows up to the party?'

Lisk is a scam vaporware and it's clearly copying Ark on every moves. Ignoring the reality is not a good way to put your hard earn money at.

liskpro.com for exemple, should be able to respond.
is he the community manager here ?

certainly not;
he does not respond to anything, and diffuses only publicity/advertisement.

why vote again for delegates? we have been voting for them since the beginning, and it did not bring anything except for the elected delegates;

Excuse me, what? I get rewards from Lisk delegates since the beginning. Don't you have any LSK or what's your problem? I get 50 LSK each month from Elite and other pools.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: October 09, 2018, 08:14:38 PM
I don´t know, ask Sherwood.

I only can say, "it works". Received 3.25 Lsk within the last 24 hours
while the reward calculator tells me I would earn ~4.5 Lsk per week at Elite. <- with 54 pools. lol.

how many lisks do have?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: October 08, 2018, 11:17:44 PM
Sherwood tries to crack the Elite cartel.

how can 4 sherwoods pay more than 54 elite who paying 25%?!

Quote
sherwood

RobinHood - 100% (don't miss that one, it's paying all rewards)
LiberSpirita - 50%
Liskpro.com - 50%
Phoenix1969 - 50%

that is 25,000 lisk that sherwood has to share every month.
elite is sharing 135,000 lisk.

If Lisk will release Sidechains it will be a Top-10-Coin. There's no doubt about it.
But their developers really need to speed up. Lisk needs more developers and scientists.
Until then I will accumulate.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: July 22, 2018, 07:08:30 AM
what do you think about this?

https://medium.com/adamant-im/fair-delegate-system-in-dpos-568e5c3c86c8

Quote
Vote weight = ADM / Votes,
Where Vote weight is the value of the wallet’s vote, ADM — the number of ADM tokens on this wallet, Votes — the number of votes of this wallet.
Suppose Bob has 100 coins, Alice has 80. Bob votes (delegates influence) for Bill and Helen, and Alice for Mark. Since Bob votes for two delegates, his vote is 100/2, that is, 50. Then Bill and Ellen have the following impact on the blockchain: 100/2 = 50, and Mark — 80. That is, Mark’s influence is greater than that of Bill and Helen. In the case of Lisk’s dPoS, Bill and Helen are more influential (100) than Mark (80), and that is unfair.

hahahahahaha. what is that? another dead lisk fork? good luck with this.  Grin Grin Grin

Hi folk. good news for lisk. Few conferences on this week and hole april some good news. I think to buy some amount

It will be a good idea, because the market will once go up and this coin will be a favorite, good luck
Now is the right time time to buy. Lisk is a next-generation platform that allows for the development and distribution of Javascript.

Everyone who resisted to buy LSK when it was between 30 and 40 dollars should buy now. This is THE opportunity to get in and make a ROI of 10 within this year.

Hey guys,

Be sure to check out Ascend Lisk Delegates https://liskascend.com/#mission

Help fight against tyrannical pools such as GDT and ELITE whilst contributing more to the community and earning much more LISK in payouts.

Hey What are the requirements from one in order to become 1 of Lisks delegate?

You need votes worth 23.319.086 LSK for your delegate.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: January 18, 2018, 08:53:50 AM
Hello guys, i need help.
I installed the LSK wallet then sender my LSK on it.

I would like to stack them, but for this i have to create a delegate no ? And it will cost me 25 LSK right ? It's a lot no ? How can i now what will be my rewards ?

I'm a little lost with the DPOS...Anyone could explain me here ?

Thanks a lot Smiley

You don't need to register a delegate to receive the voting rewards.

If you want to receive voting rewards you need to vote for the top 101 delegates that share their rewards with voters.

This website can help you with the voting--> https://dpostools.com/LISK

Also voting costs you a one time fee which is 1 Lisk. With 1 vote you can vote for up to 33 delegates in one go! Smiley

This site is better for voting -- https://lisk.builders/votemanager

this is a good decision.
the next thing that has to be done is to change the amount of forging delegates.

more delegates mean more dumpers. not good.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: December 16, 2017, 04:03:21 PM
My best LSK decision was to vote for Liskpro.com, Robinhood and Liberspirita. Smiley
My worst decision was to vote lisk elite. But now I am only holding lisk without changing votes.

lisk elite is a hell of a mafia, i didn't received my stake during 2 weeks because i didn't vote for they new member, those are bad for the project.

Same here. I didn't received my old stake, cuz I did not vote for their new member. I unvoted them all. It even cost me 1 Lisk more  than vote for their new member. But that was worth it.

Lisk Elite didn't pay me neither for the same reason. Indeed they are a mafia. Inverse pyramid they said lol!

the rules on elite's website are clear. if you are too stupid to read two rules, then you are wrong at crypto and better get a job at burger king.

more lsk for me. if you are too stupid for voting better go somewhere else, bro.

The lisk hq did a dpos sistem so we investors can expect something in return. So,voting for peapole who actually give somenthing back.
Fair comment. If the delegates had to keep all the forging rewards, then why do people bother to vote for them ? The community will eventually understand tis and will kick out the greedy delegates in due course. Its only a matter of time.

You are right. Greedy delegates have to left from top 101 even they do somethink for Lisk.

First of all voters already participated in Lisk development by buying Lisk on ICO or exchanges. We bring our money from the offline. And Lisk worth because of that too.
Devs got millions from ICO and we can expect the development of Lisk's platform. If someone want to help with development it's their right but not duty. Also if delegate want to sold revards he got it's his right.
Of couse I will support first the delegates who do something for Lisk. But if they so greedy to leave 70% for theirself (as pankrock do) I do not!
They say that it is needed for on cost and voting weight. But if they will distribute even all it's node revards they will not lose their voting weight because their voters will rise it. On my opinion they do that just to became whales and to violate the rights of small voices.
Another thing - why do you think that only you have to decide where and for what send our (node revards is revards of all node voters) money?
OK if you are good coder and facilitate Lisk you worthy of a reward but why do you grab so much?

I think all delegates have invested in Lisk ICO and are investors like you. I am totally fine with the rewards I get from the delegates. I am doing nothing for Lisk and I get free money from the delegates. Who am I to complain about it? Who are you to complain about it? You are greedy too.

Two weeks ago I found this video. It helped me a lot and I already got rewards.
Now I can sit back and get more and more LSK!

If you want to know how to get more LSK from voting check this video out!

How to get free Lisk (LSK) by voting for Lisk delegates
