141  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] US/North American Bitfury sales now open ***full prototype pics*** on: December 07, 2013, 09:34:03 PM
I am interested in buying faulty boards. Hope to hear something about that from Dave soon, but I will also buy direct from anyone monitoring this thread that has hardware sitting doing nothing for them. Same goes for anyone with bare chips laying around. PM me with your asking prices, I am not looking to low ball anyone and am open to any negotiation so all parties involved get a good deal.

I'm gonna send you a PM WinterParker. I am mostly looking for smaller USB miners, but if the price is right that is a nice amount of hashing power.

Hi everybody - I have not forsaken you!  I have indeed been very busy growing the mine and hiring/training additional team members.

I have *finally* got a new merchant account for CC processing!

Very soon I will open sales for the following:
-old style V1 H-boards
-new style V2.2 H-boards
-dodgy trouble cards, EOL's, noisy, etc.
-Limited Edition megabigpower.com Red Furies (not really for serious miners, more of a learning thing)

Soon means hopefully this week, but I'm travelling.  Turn around on V1 H-boards might be just a few days longer - we have to order those special.

Best,
Dave

Are you going to be restocking and selling bare bitfury chips again?

148  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Bare BitFury ASIC Chips on: December 03, 2013, 07:43:26 PM
I mentioned this in another thread, but I am eager to buy any of these anyone may have available, so i am making a specific thread looking to buy bare Fury chips.

I would like to purchase up to 60, I will take any quantity under that. Ideally I would like to pay the original price of $25 each, but doe to limited supply, I am willing to play a reasonable markup.

If anyone has any of these on hand that they can sell, please PM me or reply to this thread. I can pay with PayPal or BTC with escrow. Payments will be sent as soon as we agree on terms.
149  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] $25 Steam Code on: December 01, 2013, 09:02:54 AM
I will take it.

Thanks for the review Terrapin.

I have adjusted my offer prices to hopefully gain some new interest, I will consider any offer. I am now also seeking Butfury chips as close to their original price as possible.

I am looking to purchase another couple BTC worth of hardware.

Not to pile on, but this seemed like the most appropriate thread. Is there any anticipated date when bare bitfury chips will be available again? Also if anyone is looking to sell any please pm me, I am looking for up to 50.
152  Economy / Exchanges / Re: MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering] on: November 26, 2013, 07:11:53 PM
I made a withdrawal of 1.1 BTC to my blockchain wallet more than 24 hours ago. There was no option anymore, the 0.001 (almost $1) fee was automatically included. It has not shown on the blockchain, not even unconfirmed with the txid they gave me a161804df1d05390d48e22d059379a17faa597b76d9e269fe1521b03b4fe6775.

I opened a ticket, but I can only imagine how long that will take them to get to. I may just stop using them altogether. As ti is, I only deposit BTC in there to arb from other exchanges and peg the funds in USD, but even at 20%, it is not worth it if large transactions just go missing.
153  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] Used USB ASICs - Block Erupters - Red/Blue Furies - Bare Fury Chips on: November 23, 2013, 08:07:18 PM
I want to buy used USB ASIC miners, mainly interested in Block Erupters and red/blue furies. I will also buy megabigpower fury boards, working or defective.

Will pay up to $25 (or BTC equivalent at bitstamp rate) per Block Erupter depending on condition and packaging. I am offering $200 for Furies, but open to negotiation.

I am also buying bare Bitfury chips, up to 100 of them. Will also buy any non working Bitfury H (or similar) boards, as long as the chips seem salvageable. Price on H boards are open for negotiation depending on condition.

I can pay in BTC, Paypal, Bank cash deposit, or wire transfer for large transactions. Willing to escrow for peace of mind, but I can provide identification and prove trust on other related communities such as otc web of trust. I will not send any funds first except for escrow purchases and PayPal. If you accept PayPal you are shipping a physical item to my confirmed address and can require a signature for payments over $250. There is little risk of reversal, and you will be covered by seller protection.

Please PM me with offers. I will also respond to any posts in this thread.
154  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Blue Fury Miners V2 2.6Gh/s on: November 06, 2013, 09:59:55 PM
Having trouble getting these to run on Windows. I installed them and updated the drivers manually. The ports start at 143 since I installed so many block erupters and hubs, not sure if that is part of the problem.

I tried the alpha drivers and ran #mine.bat and I get an error that I do not have permission to open the com port that the bit fury miner is on. I get the same error if I try to use the 3.5 version of cg miner. I have tried disabling all other devices, rebooting, and using other mining programs, but I cannot get these to run. I am going to try this on one of my RPis since I cannot get them working on Windows unless someone here can hopefully help.
155  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [SOLD OUT] ASICMiner 49 port hubs +50 units! 1.75 BTC - Last batch on: November 06, 2013, 02:58:14 AM
Is there any consensus on a good Power supply to buy if you are running 40+ sticks.

I pulled an old 380w Raid Max out of my retired computer hardware box and have been running 43 block erupters and 2 usb fans. Seems like new ones on the low end are just not up to snuff. I realize it has something to do with the power going to the rails on new PSUs from reading through the forum, but my understanding of electronics is limited. Seems like a better idea to go digging through the garbage than online shopping at this point.

I've been using one of these for 2 months in my pc I built with no problems.
I bought another one last week to use with my hub, it handles 49 miners no problems. Been running it few days now. It's a really nice and cheap option.

Also, since these run on 5 volts, you need a psu that puts out enough amps at 5v. If your using an old 350 watt pc power supply I doubt it has enough amps at 5 volts. Theoretically you need at least 25 amps at 5 volts. But power supplies are always over rated and you don't want to run them at their max capacity. The one I listed above is 32 amps at 5 volts.

Thanks, that looks like a good deal overall, I will try one out, I plan to resell it eventually anyway. My old PSU says it is 29 amps on 5 volts. I tried running 47 miners and 2 fans at one point, but the power supply powered itself off when I went to run bfg miner. Since then I have left a few slots open and everything has been running well.

I know I read that 25a on 5v thing here a few times, but I just now am understanding what that means and what to look for on the psu sticker, so I appreciate your reply.
