To add to my last post and probably my last for some months. You can't just delete this thread. This is part of the history of bitcoin. Reading back into this thread, it is like a wonderful time machine to the different state of mind and evolution of bitcoin over the years. Historians will one day spend years digging through this thread to understand the evolution of bitcoin in the minds of early bitcoin HODLers.

I ONLY visit the WO thread on bitcointalk.org. I always have a tab open on WO thread. If they delete WO thread, they delete bitcointalk.org for me. WO members are the real bitcoiners. No fake shit and bullshit like on reddit and twitter. I don't read this WO thread to post for some merit, otherwise I could have been Legendary a long time ago. Been on this site since 2011, only registered in 2013. Who gives a fuck about merit when you have bitcoin.

The WO thread is the ONLY thread I have been visiting for many years now on bitcointalk.org. I always have a tab open in my browser and try and keep up to date on the pages of posts. I don't post often there, although I read it on a weekly basis. I have been visiting bitcointalk since 2011, although my username was only registered in 2013. There are many of us who find comfort in reading WO when the HODL gets tough and celebrate together when the bull gets going. The merits are also useful to identify the quality posts from the perspective of like minded WO readers when scanning pages of posts trying to catch up to the latest posts. If you remove WO thread, you kill bitcointalk.org for me and others.

I was wondering the other day where our Belgium WO friend went. He used to post many pictures of food and drink at quality restaurants. Can't seem to find any of his posts in the history of this thread.

- BTC backed loans to carry you to the next bull peak. Pay back when BTC rate improves.
- Selling put options. Hedge to not miss the top, but can be costly when the bull gets going.
- Do you sell to USDT or some other fiat linked coin?
- Where do you invest/save your new stack of fiat in the current economy?

Buy back lower. Repeat. Easy. Easy for some, hard for most I have been through the bull/bear cycles multiple times by now and it has always been extremely difficult in the moment when the price is going bonkers to keep sane and make the right decision. In the past I have mostly always decided to not sell any significant amount. This time I will try to time a percentage exit to fiat required to initiate the next phase of my life. I have compiled a long list of top indicators published by well informed members in the Bitcoin space over the last couple years. Hoping I have enough information on hand this time to time some sell orders without looking back with regret. Going to be tough. More tough than all the bear markets combined. |

To be completely honest, I can't remember exactly! I wish I could remember on what day and how I heard of it first. I know it must have been on the Internet, but I also recall seeing some news segment on cnn tech show possibly around there. I went straight into research mode and bought my first soon after using PayPal. Got scammed on my first attempt and almost gave up. In my country the only option was PayPal and the otc market on bitcointalk. |

Wait, who the fuck are you? I might not be an active poster on this thread, but I surely read a lot of it, although it includes some scanning as lots of it is of little value. I come here to read and feel normal again. I can relate to what the posters on here are going through. I might not care for making thousands of posts to get some imaginary forum ranking or feel the need to be one of the guys by having some virtual cap to wear, but I still feel like I have experienced what most here went through as part of the bitcoin journey we all share. My hodl watch has been long and hard. Looking forward to seeing 100k in 2020/21. After close to a decade of hodling it will definatley feel like I have earned my btc fortune. Now let's hodl on WO's and enjoy the ride to 100k and beyond!
