I participated ICO and interested in next crowd sale what someone in this thread mentioned. Then I wonder what would be my on-hold-ICO-AMP value will be after the next crowd sale. Is it going to be new coin? - in this case how current AMP will be treated? Or, additionally issuing AMP??? - in this case, I wonder market value of AMP which might drop.  |

Polo refused to list Waves??? kinda funny they don't take business chance with Waves market caps. Or, is there any reason that dev wants to keep distance to Polo and such exchanges in strategic point of view???
Its not confrimed that polo wont list waves, only that they wont do it at the moment while the full node is not yet released. Polo might well add waves after the source is revealed and nodes are released. Sasha seems to be confident that waves doesnt even need an exchange in the future though which is promising if they can fulfil what they say they can. Waves price would be to the moon if this actually does happen, it will be a main link between your fiat funds and bitcoin. thanks for your comments  I wonder if recent new ETH and classic ETH mess affecting to Waves node contractions... In any way, my position of ICO waves are on hold. Just I can not understand whom making loss by selling Waves under ICO price. Cheers! |

So its been about 2 weeks since I first asked about the twitter giveaway tokens, I get you want the market to "stabilize", but yeah this is market manipulation even if you are not trying to... you need to release those tokens sir. So, when can I expect to see my tokens? I am not planning on selling them, but you have to understand IOU's in crypto land mean jackshit... I would rather put my hopes and prayers behind a "token" of some sort.... Please Respond and provide a firm date when I will see my giveaway tokens , Thanks  Yes it was absolutely an attempt at preventing NEGATIVE market manipulation. All actions on the market qualify as "manipulation". All "manipulation" is not equal or negative. Whatever you choose to do with your tokens will be manipulation. Also, you won those tokens for nothing. It's not an "IOU", it was a gift. You purchased tokens, and this increased your holdings by 25%  Now, other people might have received them for free and just dumped them because they put nothing into the ICO. Now your "prize" is worth $118 based on last market trade. So again, all manipulation is not equal. Oh...check your account Cheers! I understand your point, but I dont fully agree. E.g. what do you mean with "market stabilization"? One could argue that even bitcoin is not stabilized yet.
Also, as stated the amount of PoA coins is very limited (~9K?) comparing the total amount of purchased coins (600K) or the total amount of coins (30M). And even if people would dump the coins the investors could by new tokens with even cheaper than the original prize.
You could also first release the first PoA coins then the second etc.
I agree 100% bitcoin isn't "stabilized" if such a thing is even possible with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not meant to be "stable". If Bitcoin were meant to be stable, you wouldn't have all these people losing their minds about the block reward halving driving up the price... Bitcoin is a deflationary currency with a capped supply, that is meant to attempt to drastically increase in value...not be "stable"... Dogecoin is meant to be "stable"...it has an open ended supply, but a burning mechanism to counter balance the supply. THAT is a "stabilization" strategy. All tokens aren't meant to be "stable". When you have few buy orders on the books, and give people "free tokens", they have no incentive not to dump those tokens. There are NOT 600k tokens "for sale"... The order books barely top 100k "for sale"... There is a HUGE difference. I am not going to let those people dump the price of the coin. Period. This is not really a debate. They will get their tokens when there are enough buy orders on the books so that they can't temporarily destroy the price in a few sales. It's just smarter this way. This is protecting the INVESTORS. The people who get tokens for free come second to people who paid. Period. Also, if you won tokens for free and AREN'T simply trying to dump them, what I am doing right now should make you happy, as it will keep the value of the tokens from being dropped. Shouldn't it? Chris Your intention to control the price/market will very quickly compromise the integrity of you and your project. Theres no way people will be comfortable directing funds to any project where one person (you), has the intention to prop-up a price. You will be accused of manipulation, and creating a false market IMO. The markets need to be free, and if people dump, its because they dont find enough value in said market. Its the value of the project you need to enhance, not the value of a/the market. Don't be so picky. This pilot project itself (and also coin itself) is a rough diamond phase. IMHO, free market is already in place therefore no one can manipulate it, even dev. China stock market several times faced wild rule such as whim circuit breaker and gov direct orders(don't sell or gov will arrest you!), however, even such wild things happens several times, the market is build as it is by free traders. So, as an investor, I am comfortable with current free market. The Cadastrals market is already in place and running. My understanding is, dev team is JUST looking for a good timing of release. that is good for both contributors and investors interest. Thus, I feel dev team are very kind enough. on the other hands, rely in on nature of market is one of option in a sense... |

I started receiving personal attacks from David, the guy that's seemingly in charge of GG now.
Yesterday, he hinted that he had accessed my wallet data, saying that I had lied to everyone about the status of my coins.
And today I received the “can I call you by your real name” thinly-veiled dox threat.
They closed the BTT thread in favor of their General Discussion chatroom. Then they closed that for an invite-only QA format room.

I think that it is not the end of the drop of Factom. DAO and Waves are coming before it was Lisk jump to TOP 10 crypto. FCT really can go to nothing. From the technological point of view there are a lot of promises but no actual results.
Actually if you knew what you were talking about you would see that most alts are in free fall due to the BTC rise. Agree. Many altos are affecting BTC rise. I am interested if DAO, WAVES, LISK can corroborate with Factom. And if possible, what kind of picture we can imagine of? |

Developer have never had anything to do with what goes on either of those exchanges. There would be less than a million tokens on the market, and then it would split the volume? I think if they are going to charge up to 6 bitcoin, we will have to have more funds to rationalize that expense. Chris on top, Bitland is currently a "pilot project" that may they do not want to deal with. If such exchanges are costing much, it might be not good timing at this point of time as Chris mention. As an investor, it is great opportunity that investing project as a very very early adopter. Let's focus on to dev and demand creations, IMHO, exchange is next priority at this point of time. It may not appropriate to say its SCAM but obviously, the out come is far beyond and we see unforeseen future only. I believe if dev team want to do business with BANKS, lack of transparency is subject to terminating business with bank without a question. So, I would like to encourage GG dev team become more open to us. They may receive strong challenges (not FUD) but should make up for. I will be watching this thread cause no place to discuss about GG for a moment. |
