I do not like FUD but giving dev team decent pressure has a meaning. particularly, when we found lack of transparency in GG dev.

this is my understanding that they are not going to call initial funding as "ICO" intentionally. But I can not recall.
What are they going to name it? anyone knows?
I think what they said was that they wanted somebody else to do the initial crowdfunding and that they would just be a service provider, but it seems 'The Dao' plan has been updated since then and it certainly looks to me like somebody is planning to sell the tokens for it. "somebody" = slok.it? or else? will see 14days later from today? |

I wish they just did crowdfunding for paykey instead of getgems, investors would get much more success.
not really, I think. GG was supposed to be the first runner of SNS featuring CryptCurrency support. However, GG dev stoled, GG leaked its ICO meney to paykey moreover. Paykey is aiming to be a parasite app to SNS Big names interfacing banks and so. However, most likely its failing. Because those SNS Big names do not want such parasite apps. rather prefer featuring to their own app. eg. in the videos, Daniel mentioned "LINE" was potential SNS big name of paykey. However, they have already implemented Japanese fiat exchange feature in their products. CryptCurrency support is not so interested at a time due regional regal issues. thus, I can have a little sight to GG but not to paykey parasite app. concept was good but rubbish slow, very unfortunate... Daniel mentions, they are working with Telegram and they have a “proof of concept” working with Facebook’s new SDK, which they presented to Citi.
Telegram one is for GetGems, I see. But one for Facebook is talking about Paykey, not GetGems at all.
On top of it, he mentions, "we were up to the challenge and could show how GetGems would scale and integrate into a large system such as Citi has".
As this thread title shows, GetGems supposed to be a stand alone "Social Messaging Apps" but sound like dev team aiming future of GetGems is a "parasite app" to SNS Big names.
This is something I did not mean to invest at croudfunding.
I am getting understand. You may well get angry in such rude money expenditure and gap between milestone.

lack of transparency means, none of backer will continues business with Paykey nor GG. Especially financial sectors - banks.
I wonder what would be happen if City, Barcleys, UBS and 43North parties notice about it.
I take sound of silence equal to lack of transparency.
If dev team are only awaiting Telegram or BIG NAMEs acquiring their products and team, they must realize again, lack of transparency won't make it happen.
I like to see many crypt/block chain products arise. GG was one of those to invest.
As well as every investors, I invested to the GG "project", not to Daniel's interests.
I am hoping something miracle happen to make up for.

Gemz price slowly going down? any updates dev? please dont abandoned this coin i think it has potential just need more time.
He wont abandon it but I'm seriously starting to believe they want to crash the market to control it. Getting people annoyed to the point of having them selling. I know at least 2 big holders from the ICO period that sold out after holding their coins since the very start of this project. This lack of communication and development is seriously starting to be a total disrespect. Daniel acting almighty there jumping from pitch to pitch not taking a single minute of his day to adress any of the concerns of this forum when he initially was all over it to gather funds from everyone. Basically what is going on here is, one dev is working on fixing "bugs" to entertain us while daniel is putting 100% of his effort on promoting paykey. Being a supporter of this coin since the very start , im totally turnt off by where this is all going right now. I found a name David R. Allen in GetGems latest blog. We may better to have him responding? What a surprise is, in the blog, they are requesting translators in FOC??? is it meaning of IOC money run out!? can't stand. |

Those stats speak nothing of user interest in the Getgems project. Only that these users found a telegram client to access the telegram network. The stats Daniel should provide are: How many users come from referrals? How many users have unlocked the airdrop? How many users are collecting the daily bonus and airdrops? If users are not interested in the Gemz token, we can conclude that the app is failing. It's a simple test, and Daniel has the stats to answer it right now. This project's biggest accomplishment was switching to Telegram and rebranding under that banner. But is that really something to celebrate? good points. I would like to know the answer too. dev? |

TOTALLY AGREE. I am getting understanding how current pilot project is; - the project itself is just great. needless to say, Forbs and big names are appreciating. - many of us want to support "the project" although dev team has unsuccessful crypt buz records b4. - as an investor, we feel irritation if only ICO scheme has better ease of use to pitch BTC. - we feel sorry, especially, some people terminated investing because of OpenLedger barrier. - as our expectation is high, current speed of ICO gives an another irritation. - our wish is some kaizen to web and marketing aside - but current resource seems limited. - Chris himself has good passion to "solve everything" but investors want someone expert associate him. Otherwise, his blood of PREDATOR wakes up!? the pilot project has just started. And a reason why 30% ICO bonus of phase-1 is, they know current resource and formation are not good enough. This is just start up team, they are selling the pilot project with current formation. should you stay or should go decision is totally up to you. ICO hopefully make them grow up to meet stakeholders interest in advance, again, not now in this good enough resource. So, we better take as it is team Bitland and give our hands to team Bitland. Someone pitching marketing support offer in this forum - I don't know him though, that's cool. What I do is pitching BTC money with cross fingers. This ICO is like pulling teeth .. You have to beg to get basic info.. This ICO should have been done on BITTREX they have Secure Escrow. They have a Good Reputation.. and they are a 3rd party to watch over the ICO so if the DEVS are crooks they cant get away with it .. Bittrex has Strict rules that MUST be followed.. The Drvs have to undergo Many Verifications to protect the investors and if they fail to meet the requirements BITTREX will REFUND all Investors before the DEVS can put their hands on any of the money.. They might have been legit but they didnt respond to email on several occasions with bittrex and that was a violation of the terms.. So you see Bittrex has investors covered for LOSS.. thats KEY to a successful ICO campaign. And you will notice the investors were fully protected. So your Question How much has bee invested .. would never be needed to ask cuz the info is right there on Bittrex website . Its all transparent EVERYONE can see with their own eyes.. No Funny business .. When you look like your trying to hide something too many questions are asked .. It save the DEV's valuable time in not having to answer so many questions that so many will ask over and over.. Its called TRANSPARENCY .. you should try it .. its GOOD for EVERYONE  If you were unfortunate enough to give these guys any bitcoin you have only yourself to blame .. consider it a lesson learned.. PK won't get funded because of exactly what the panel criticized at 43North. The app hasn’t interested VC’s yet, and the market is only getting more crowded. 43North board was clueless and embarrassing.  The panel sounds a bit like the "troll crew" here. I do not like to see FUD, but, from recent forum posts, I understand how all you feel that much dev disappointing to us. dev need a lot of guts to make up for.
