2421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pegaxy Gaming Thread on: February 04, 2022, 09:54:56 AM
I haven't played the game and I've got some questions for those who already started playing it. Is the feature and gameplay of this game is generating a random winner? Like, there's no best status for the horses and when you start the race, all of you are the same and co-equal in statistics and fair whoever is going to win?
Yes the winner is random. Regarding the stats of the horse, actually no one knows how to identity potential stat for a winner since dev doesnt disclose it but they using a random software for this. Cant barely know the average yet since Ive started to buy horse only few days ago. But somehow I got some good winnings so far.
I think this is much better than Axie for which if you see the cards of the enemy, you'll have the idea if you have the upper hand or you're just about to lose because you know how strong and weak cards you have and your opponent has. How much you've bought your horse and how much you earn daily?

I think that the starting capital investment for this game is quite high. I won't get into it that quick and the same hype could have been happening on it right now as Axie.
Actually it is. Ive entered the price above $2k for a virgin hoz but now its alrrady beyond $3k so if I sold that, already gained but since Ive just started then might as well ride it. Thats why created the thread to learn some from other players who might enters the game earlier.
Nice, you're already in profit if you want to sell it to the market. AFAIK, there's free breeding with those horses that have been purchased for this week. I still don't know the whole thing and I wish that whoever bought it this time will be able to make really good money from it.

I have definitely heard about the game, but I haven’t really tried it. Just like @sunsilk, I thought that the starting capital is too high for me
You can still capitalize on Pegaxy though without getting involved into the gameplay or buying a fuckin crazy mechanical horse. So, if you can't actually get into the game, the best way is to go ahead and get some of the tokens that are part of the ecosystem, which are $VIS and $PGX. They are similar to SLP and AXS that are used for minting/breeding another NFT assets which kinda drives the demand especially now that DAU for Pegaxy is continuously increasing.

By looking at the chart, there is an increase of around 470% in the last 30 days in $VIS which is pretty high IMO and it can still continue for the next 1-2 months. However, you can only trade this tokens for only a short period of time, milk it and GTFO immediately.
There's also a way through taking a scholarship but just like Axie, you need to look for someone who provides scholarships.
2422  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top site to play poker games on: February 03, 2022, 11:12:45 AM
Of course, it cost to run the poker site... like with all other stuff, the more money you spend the better quality you can get! Yes, they have been around for a while, but it's been a long since the last time we saw them here! On the site, there are no changes at all... I think conclusion is simple here, they don't plan to develop further! Sad story, I believe they could do more in the poker industry, they could be the number one crypto poker site! I will not say they lost a chance for that, but if they don't change some things, if they don't get serious I am afraid they will just continue to sink and lose all players!
I'm analyzing what you've said and it's true and I agree. When it was their peak of popularity in the forum, I think they should have capitalized and taken advantage of it to upgrade and develop more.

They seem to be the one that's leading as far as I know during their peak years but eventually, they've focused not on the development and improvement of the site.
2423  Other / Politics & Society / Re: US Debt Rate rose to $30 Trillion on: February 03, 2022, 09:49:26 AM
As the debt increased, one solution that they see is to increase the interest rates which will definitely make a domino impact on every American. But, it's not just the US that will do this but many other countries like Tunisia and UK.

About the percentage that the whole crypto market can pay for that debt of US. It's just a projection of how huge the debt is. On the other hand, people who are seeing this doesn't look good will start to hedge against it and will find their ways being affected by it.
2424  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Another Ledger scam attempt!!! on: February 03, 2022, 08:21:16 AM
These scammers will never stop. The email which I've used in purchasing my ledger wallet has received this type of scam attempt after their data has been leaked.

There's no problem to us as we're aware of these phishing tricks but it's really concerning the newer folks that just bought their ledger. And also, those who are new to the crypto market, they really are likely to fall for this.

2426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was finally able to purchase an iPhone 13 pro max using my Bitcoin on: February 02, 2022, 12:19:03 PM
You can buy many of Iphone 13 pro max by selling 1 Bitcoin because it is expensive and its worth is equal to 20+ iphone 13 pro max and it is digital way to buy iphone 13 pro max using BTC as a payment asset.
Well, if you're a businessman and you own bitcoin then that's normal for you to buy in bulk. But as an individual who just wants to have one piece of it, there's no sense of spending that much and purchasing it with that a lot.

And on OP's situation, he got that the owner of that store is likely a bitcoin holder and investor. In short, the timing and fate is with OP and whatever is the deal, he's happy with it and satisfied.

I understand the slight regret of OP since the price isn't good but bitcoin is going to be used in this type of situation. If you really like where to spend it, there's no regret for it.
2427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 02, 2022, 10:53:39 AM
I think the query will be handled by a bot but if your concern isn't really part of the bot's automated answer and finding of the solution, it will be transferred and handled by a live chat agent.

But it's always the better thing if there's the live chat that's active to help and solve the problem of their customers. I just feel that there's more care if it's like that although understandable on the end if they have chat bots because of the volume of customers that are asking for their help.
Most common queries would be something like this came from customers;

1. How long withdrawals would be processed?
2. How long would be the deposit would credit out on the account?
3. Whats thee wager requirement of blah blah blah.
4. Do this site require KYC?

The rest would really talk about the games itself been offered.
Most of these questions could really be seen on FAQ which it would be understandable that it would
be set up on bot for them to seek on.
Yes, that's right. For specific and normal questions, if there's no bot, FAQ is always the first place to go for the basic questions about those inquiries which will also be answered by the bot relying on the FAQs info.

I disagree about what you've said that most of them don't want to hear us with feedback. Honestly, the reputable ones are wanting to hear and see feedback of their customers for them to know on which part of their service they should do better.
Exactly, A reputable casino will commonly give responses or feedback to the user problems. But, maybe the speed will be different. We know that the reputable casino should have numerous users and they may also receive many complaints every day. That is why they need several certain times to receive the complaint, study, analyze, check the evidence, and finally evaluate and decide on a solution. sometimes the case is also not easy, so maybe even reputable casinos will still take a little longer to resolve a complaint.
True. It's also a matter of the response time of the casino's support but there's the queuing for those customers that want to talk to someone personally to solve their matter. And if it's not being answered in real-time, they have the option to give the response and solution through email.
2428  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Typhoon Odette Vs. monetary assistance is only selectively granted on: February 02, 2022, 09:47:40 AM
That's sad and I've seen some videos about the devastation that typhoon has left. About the assistance, it's the whole duty of your local government to help you out and assess the situation, there's no need for them to choose who are they going to help.

Just because you did a quick action for repairing your house, they shouldn't ignore you with the help that they've brought in your area. It's a disaster and everyone in your area should get treated well but I'm also thinking that the local authorities might have a tight budget and they're only looking for those terribly affected people in your community.

I wish you recovery and hopefully, you'll get up from this calamity.
2429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Considering the security factor of Altcoins? on: February 02, 2022, 08:35:18 AM
Thank you again for the comments guys

Actually, you gave me another point of view about my exploration method of low cap coins, maybe you are right and this is all paid ads.

But is still managed to find something on the web and wanted to share it with you this platform and to hear what you are thinking about seems very promising to me.

https://data.valid.network/home
This looks like a promising website and gives a rating for each project about its security. But I don't know if this is the right platform for me since if you want to view other types of tokens, you have to get listed and pay for their membership fee.

They should allow it for free if it's just about viewing but what they offer is a whole package and it's not that cheap at all. Well, sort of disappointed to see that they required to upgrade just for viewing the tab for different tokens and other security measures. They should unlock it.
2430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 01, 2022, 10:33:11 PM
In my experience, I've used the live support with someone's really replied on me. I guess that bot thing is just the first step and eventually, there's the person that shall help you with your problem.

I disagree about what you've said that most of them don't want to hear us with feedback. Honestly, the reputable ones are wanting to hear and see feedback of their customers for them to know on which part of their service they should do better.
When it comes to live support or chat box then this is usually been handled out by bot but its not really necessary for it to be a human being as long those queries of yours is really answered up by bot

but having real human interaction would really be much preferable and not just seeing bot responses. Some people do really likes on being responded on the time that they do ask out something

which even myself would really see this as a great feature for an online casino to have on which they are really attentive when it come to queries and some complaints or questions
by its users.

2431  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the most important features of an online crypto casino? on: February 01, 2022, 07:18:03 PM
A good customer care service in my opinion is the best features to look at for reasons been that  no matter how good the graphics and variety of crypto currency maybe there is never a 100% satisfaction and definitely customers would have issues and the ease and rapid response to customers complaints would make a better casino before considering how well the relate to Bitcointalk forum.
Many will agree on that. Especially those that have received bad customer support, they'll choose the casino that has very well support that makes them satisfied.

But just as the others, there's a certainty that we all have our differences and from the others opinion, there could be other things that are better than the customer service of a casino.

Although many websites offer live chat support, the fact that you are communicating with a bot is a major problem at the moment; most companies do not want to hear about problems or receive feedback, which is why they are taking longer to resolve the situation. No matter what website you are on, customer service is essential because there will be times when you encounter a problem, and they will be able to respond to it immediately. Customer service and bonuses as for me since all of us wants bonuses  Grin

The best presidents and government officials were also made and came from a very good and outstanding teachers that have left them with good lessons and advices which they've brought as they grow old.

All of the professions that we have came from the teachers. We salute all of them and they really deserve the best. But sadly, there are those nations or places that can't increase the wages of them due to the lack of budget and situation of their country. Despite that situation, it is their passion that keeps them moving forward and never shows any tiredness from their profession.
2433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: India proposes 30% tax on crypto and NFTs income on: February 01, 2022, 09:58:17 AM
As they've proposed it, this clears up the confusion of many of what's really happening in the crypto scene in India. They now have seen the potential of the crypto market that they can't just ignore anymore. And since most of the countries are still experiencing crisis specially in finance.

It's the right time for them to do this. Although the percentage of taxation seems to be high, I guess they'll eventually pull down that soon when they've realized that it's too much for their people.

We're all human beings and we all have emotions and personal battles to face. Whatever were the battles for Cheslie, I think that she can't carry it anymore. It's sad that this has to happen to her.

In her case I think what may have happened to her is depression. Depression has caused so many people who are famous to kill themselves in a painful way. I don't think money is the problem why she acted this way.
Possible.

There's no certain boundary in the society that be exempted from it. She's still young and if she ever had close friends, that would likely be her co-pageant participants which is away from her. What a tragic and sad day.  Cry

2436  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto in Indian Economy? on: January 31, 2022, 11:06:27 AM
According to the world bank, India is 13 poorest country in Asia. They are even behind their small neighbor country Bangladesh. More than 68% of indias total population live under poverty whose daily wages is only 2$. 30% of them earned 1.25$ daily. Source Link.

Really brother, still you think India is not economically poor?
I've just based my opinion on the link that I've read and when it comes to the economic status of a country, there's the basis that it had shown. But I'd like to thank you for that link since I don't really know a lot of things about them and if there is new information that's being shared with me, I'd be happy to extract and accept it and well, that's convinced me that sad reality.

And based on this article for their technological stats: India jumps 2 spots to 46th rank in Global Innovation Index 2021

Only 54% of indians have mobile phones and from which only 24% have smart phone. Source Link.

It's almost half of the total population of the country.
In 2020, the population of India was around 1.38B, that's the number that will show if you use keywords of India's population on a search engine. And on this article from the same website: https://www.statista.com/statistics/558610/number-of-mobile-internet-user-in-india/
It says about 749 million have access to the internet and 744 million used to access their smartphones. You're right that it's half of the total population but I'd say that it's still a big number, 744 million people and it will just grow overtime.

Honestly, every country that sees a great source for the living of their people and for the government, it's what's matters to them. But I'm more confused about the news that has become trendy there last year about RBI banning bitcoin.

I think Indian officials don't know what they should do. They ban crypto then again unban it now they are saying they want to regulate crypto. I think they do not understand crypto very well and how they can be benefited from it.
Yeah, it's confusing. But with what I've read the latest, it is like that they're going PRO with bitcoin/cryptocurrencies and looks like the positive development starts there.
2437  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto in Indian Economy? on: January 31, 2022, 09:18:25 AM
How is it possible to raise so much awareness about crypto in a country so technologically and economically poor
I don't think economically they're poor. Based on this link, they're #1 in GDP(PPP): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Asian_and_Pacific_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)

And based on this article for their technological stats: India jumps 2 spots to 46th rank in Global Innovation Index 2021

will this current crypto enthusiastic generation of India could build up the future Indian economy to prosper or will it adversely affect the country's economy?
Honestly, every country that sees a great source for the living of their people and for the government, it's what's matters to them. But I'm more confused about the news that has become trendy there last year about RBI banning bitcoin.
2438  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia is bullying Ukraine, but can it really hold? on: January 30, 2022, 03:39:34 PM
China is the best example for modern day invasion, they invade most of the countries economically and make them to pay for their country forever by giving lucrative offers in the beginning, but later they will take control of everything with the puppet rulers so any country wants to dominate should follow them. Its immorally wrong but that's the strategy. Roll Eyes
I agree. That's the debt trap.

It's a simple economic strategy, making friends with other countries, giving them as many loans as they can until they can no longer pay due to the interest rate that won't stop anytime soon.

And if the "friend" of theirs can no longer pay, they're going to pick some area of that country to invade a little by little and they'll inject their people on it, invade through their products until they make it almost as centralize as the main land.
2439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Prediction on: January 30, 2022, 12:35:12 PM
Well, there's no need for any website to have that prediction because almost everywhere you're going to see people predicting the price of bitcoin 10 years from now. And if that's not enough for you, just ask a certain coin in the altcoin discussions and how much it would be, you'll receive many answers about their prediction on that coin.

You'll get to see the same people like you who own that coin that you're asking for a prediction. But to tell you frankly, 10 years from now no one is sure about what the market will look like.
2440  Economy / Gambling / Re: Very immoral marketing strategy. on: January 29, 2022, 08:42:25 PM
This is how marketing strategies work,  everything can be soooo interesting and also worthy to take when seeing from the advertisement and promotions . They will not care about what they use,  they only want to get more people to use the platforms.
There's no reason for them to care, all they care is about the marketing and how effective it is.

And that is why we are ourselves that must be aware about it,  smart,  and also careful about that kind of promotion.  They will seem so legit. And many people become victims.
And if they only care to get more customers, what we should care about is all about ourselves. If you understand what marketing they use, don't be indulged with it so that you won't be the one that they're targeting.

Those people that understand that this marketing really is unlikeable to them, just shun it.
