Either a scam or not a sh..y job on kraken's side

I returned to kraken after a year or so. Haven't experienced any problems with them previously. I transferred euros through SEPA to kraken, converted it to BTC, but kraken does not allow to transfer BTC out. The account is verified, no counterclaims or any other reason to withhold the transfer. I wrote to support a couple of times - no response whatsoever. Is it mt.gox history repeating or they are just doing a sloppy job? the amount is not big, but it so annoying when you have to wait for days to transfer bitcoins. International wire transfers are faster these days.
