I can confirm that this site seems seriously dodgy. I have .004 BTC in my account and I am unable to login there at all. If I go to the site with a new IP address it displays fine, then when I log in it changes to "service not available". It will stay that way until I get a new IP address.
This guy obviously doesn't understand security, or doesn't care that his heavy-handed blanket blocking of people who fall foul of whatever incompetent "security" system he has in place is stealing money from legitimate users.
I suppose it's my own fault for trusting the kind of scumbag that will happily sell popunder and unsolicited popup ads.
No replys to email, of course. I would recommend finding an honest service rather than using this.

And the thing about coinpot they don’t block your account instead they will cancel your withdrawal and keep it for themselves.
This is true... It's worse than just stopping payments altogether. It's what google does when they decide to end someone's adsense account too, they wait and then tell you at the end of the payment period and keep your money, all the ad revenue they got from you for up to 2 months! It's a scummy thing to do. Google are similarly uncommunicative too, unless you count their bot email.

Since the last time there were down, I also don't receive any tokens when claiming on moondash or mooncash. I did however receive a payment a couple of days ago, so they are still paying.
You mean they are stilll paying sometimes, maybe!

i also stopped working with them after 6 years now ..... coinpot is shit Put it this way, if I found a way to completely block bots I would not let them have it!

Well please consider that it is extremely annoying for someone like me who has done nothing against the rules but got screwed by them to then see people essentially posting that, "it is not a scam because I got paid", or even worse, "you must have done soemthing wrong".
Screwing people over and then not replying and being totally uncontactable anywhere is just not acceptable. no matter how much you claim that it is. Nor is paying "most people".
this isnt a personal attack on you, so pls dont be so defensive It's ok I'm not taking it personally, still I think there is no excuse for rudeness. They are ignoring messages from users they have wrongly identified as bad in some way. They are wrong.... they get away with it because they have so many users and don't really care about the ones they scam, its just seen by them as an acceptable thing, but I don't accept it. I hope they lose lots of money somehow, like I said there is no excuse for rudeness.

Everybody knows that support at coinpot is non existing, but they keep paying! Recent a BTC payment a couple of days ago without any problems.
To be accurate you should say they keep paying sometimes. Looking at this thread it is not just complaints about their support, many people are not getting paid too.
|
|
|
They rarely, if ever, respond to their "support" address. It's fine for a while and then suddenly for no given reason they stop paying. Some who are still getting paid seem to think that so long as they are getting paid it's not a scam, regardless of the obviously large number of people who have been screwed over by them.
It's like me going into a court where a burglar is being charged and telling the judge well he hasn't burgled my house so you should dismiss the case!
Sheesh!

The fourth Pi has been released some time ago, so you should be able to buy it. The 4 GB RAM version seems to be sold out everywhere, but you should be able to get the 2 GB one easily. Here you can check for your local, official resellers. Yes I had not read it properly, I thought you had to buy it from blitz, but now I see I can download the image and DIY. Thanks.

Thanks, blitz looks good, maybe I should wait for the Pi4 version to come out.

Does your donation system explicitly require the tracking of the various donations?
Yes, unfortunately it needs to keep track of deposits from each user, and then they transfer to their chosen recipient with no fee whenever they like. So it generates addresses for them for each coin. The idea is that they can direct faucet/PTC site earnings direct there, then use them to support projects. But they can cheat and just send in coins from anywhere! But having to run a node for each coin means I wont be able to support so many coins now.

|
|
Thanks ETF I will check those out.

Hi, I tried to take a shortcut for our donation system, and of course it was a mistake. KYC reared its ugly head with coinpayments .net and then their impersonal automation and "support" finished the job. Seems best to run a full node. My own fault really for believing the marketing. Is anyone willing to help set one up? I will have to use a raspberry Pi 4 due to low funds, but it seems they are adequate from looking around online.
I'll need to tie it in to our payments system, but there seems to be adequate docs for that. The hard part will be setting it up in the first place. More than jsut setting it up, I need to learn so I am not continually pestering people to help.
More about what it will be used for is in the link in my sig. Or if not, where would be the best place to post? Thanks Andy

I have been withdrawing at 2000 many time now, no problems. If it doesn't work for you that doesn't necessarily mean it's a scam, just that they have not got their anti-bot system right yet. It's hard and gets harder all the time.

Is this site still working? There don't seem to be admin responses any more, not in the site chat either. Very high withdraw threshold too, and the payments have not changed, despite the value of BTC almost halving. has it turned into a scam? Any info appreciated.

still paying. Nice, reliable faucet, thanks.

Nice to see a well-maintained faucet - and under active development. Good luck with your projects.

This looks promising. Is there a slack or similar somewhere?

We all have things we value. Personally fill rate and speed are some of my pet peeves. Speed is mostly just a matter of equipment, but new ad networks often seem to have problems with the fill rate. Heck, even seasoned ad networks have problem with fill rates from what I can tell. I’d suggest adding functionality for backup ads, that way the publishers won’t notice when you are out of ads to show.
Yes, backup ads are a great thing, nice suggestion.
