601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency entirely dedicated to GAMBLING? on: October 09, 2019, 07:19:12 PM
bitcoin is not just for gambling alone.
certainly there is an already created altcoin only for crypto gambling.
bitcoin is the spirit of crypto, its function is inappropriate for gambling.

BTC is actually more appropriate in gambling. Its sort of a chip in casino.

When a gambler holds chip, in their mind its just a chip and psychologically they tend to bet more using these chips for its doesn't look like money and will just gamble it away which what casinos want. BTC acts the same way which btc casinos wants BTC gambler to spend it all.

It's a cheap that is not for gambling purposes only and its accepted widely in the crypto world.
It's quite different in gambling tokens where you can only exchange it in the site or exchange in certain exchanges, that's why people choose BTC over others because of its big liquidity and they will not worry a lot since its more stable than other type of coins, including gambling tokens.
1 more thing maybe i will add, is when people don't need to reveal their identity when gambling with cryptocurrency. Although some gambling sites for now ask their users to do KYC, others are not. That is why i pick crypto gambling than fiat.
602  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I'm now accumulating 15 altcoins, what do you think? on: October 09, 2019, 02:10:49 PM
If you choose 15 alts, it is better to choose them from the top 100 markets, because if you look for coins that are in the middle of the market, you can get to the scam
Top 100 coinmarketcap is good (in case what you means from 100 markets is coinmarketcap). At least they are more better than new tokens that full of speculation. Maybe my suggestion if OP want to pick tokens, which already have produdt or roadmap really updated by developer.
603  Economy / Speculation / Re: what do you think is the best rate price for btc? on: October 09, 2019, 06:09:40 AM
Hi guys,

I am curious to know what for you is the best average btc price.

Thank you so much everyone who will answer me.  Grin
Of course, best price for bitcoin is the highest. Especially for people like me who mostly have bitcoin from earn. Maybe for who buy, as long they get profit will be best price for them. But for who bought in high price, sometime they blame bitcoin for their loss.
604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling activies correlates with Bitcoin's price? on: October 08, 2019, 04:12:33 PM
Maybe if at bull run, people do gambling and want to aim bigger rewards. I mean with same amount in BTC (which actually very big in usd) people can win in a percentage but when they sell it, it will give them a lot of fiat. Maybe that is why a lot of people like to play in bull market.
605  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Smart hodling vs just hodling on: October 08, 2019, 04:11:05 AM
Maybe people who do buy and hold and back up is kind of smart holder. Because from what i see, while i only hold my bitcoin without do anything, some of my friend do it. He said that if he buy in cheaper price, it is like martingale strategy in trading.
Yeah, I do that too, I just hold my Bitcoin without doing anything. Because I am a person who works from morning till night so I do not have time to monitor charts in the market, I'm just waiting for the moment the Pump arrives, I believe what I do is the best for my mind and health. I don't need to do anything, just hold.
Same as you pal, I prefer to hold my bitcoin and doing nothing since I don't have time to check the market since I got a lot of things to do. Besides, I don't want to spend my bitcoins because the market is bleeding, it is better if I'd just stay put my holdings rather than to purchase some coins that without guarantee of getting a high return.
In other side, if we see market everyday, maybe more often than everyday like every hour we can be bored to wait because price not moving. Or maybe when we see market and it still not in a good price, can scared us and make us panic. For holding it is better to leave it like what and maybe 3 times in a week to check is good to do.

607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty hunters and Exchanges. on: October 07, 2019, 02:37:50 AM
Well, you do have all the points but I do really have this kind of behavior when setting up accounts on any exchange where I engage on.
It sounds too hassle but more secure on my part.Just be sure to list all the necessary informations on all the accounts you had created.
Yes, its hard because it can be confusing for sometime but it isn't really need for you to memorize all yet you can always make a list out and just
be sure you dont expose those important infos.
Right, that is why i said that if it is work for you then it is good. Because each people have their own strategy to secure their account. Just hope we all not face that problem, or maybe stay careful to not trapped into phising site. Because all of our strategy wouldn't help if we submit our account login into phising site.
608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LOSS OF CRYPTOCURRENCY TO HACKING INTENSIFIES on: October 06, 2019, 07:25:20 AM
I don't think that hackers can be stop one way or the other they will always try to break any new technology or securities, even if every one turns to quantum secured wallet and exchanges its only a matter of time before hackers find another breakthrough, they always try to find means at all costs
More like if we have 1000 ways, hackers will have 1001 ways to steal people's wallet. Not only users, developers should really aware with their wallet. Even exchanges can get hacked. That is why they wouldn't stop as long it can give free big money to them.
609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty hunters and Exchanges. on: October 04, 2019, 06:38:49 AM
As a Hunter, how many exchange accounts are you expected to have. i have accounts in over 10 exchanges. it is appalling but i have not choice because i have to sell or convert my new earn tokens to an affordable cryptocurrency. is there any limits to the number of exchanges we should join as a bounty hunter?
i believed that more exchanges will still appear in the future.
what is your opinion towards owning a multiple exchange for trading.
I have some exchanges account. Maybe not only to sell my bounty rewards, usually i trade altcoin in exchange like Binance for now and in past i usually on Bittrex. I think it is ok we have account in a lot of exchanges. Just keep remember to make password different each other. Because if have same password, 1 stolen, they can have access in all your exchanges account.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you invest in Mining Company IEO? on: October 04, 2019, 01:48:19 AM
I think as long the project really can show their mining tools, i think not bad to try. Because if not, people usually judge if it is cloud mining which only get money like ponzi scheme. But before do that, there are some project that based on mining i think in bitcointalk. You can see the project and how was the token for now. With that, you can see people attracted to it or not.
611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bank asking to provide additional details regarding my activity on: October 03, 2019, 06:37:58 PM
I have a friend who get same experience. I think with cryptocurrency, sometime Bank will ask for detail if it is related to cryptocurrency. In my country, there are no rules. I mean bitcoin is not illegal, but not legal too. Only no regulation yet and my friend face that experience. From that time, for now i usually exchange my bitcoin to fiat on verified seller that it is personal and not company. That is why i look never get transaction from cryptocurrency business.
612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain-based social media worth it? on: October 03, 2019, 08:54:46 AM
Social media maybe something that already have it's king. I mean, not means social media aspect is not good. But there are already a lot of big social media that come and for new one, usually need something new. We can see some new site not really famous if compared with those already exist. Maybe blockchain wallet, like integrated with Visa or maybe something like Monaco, or other project that claimed connected to Visa is something worth to try again.
613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: October 03, 2019, 03:14:44 AM
I have worked for a few years in a casino and I couldn't help but imagine that people should be able to gamble with bitcoin.

Is it already happening? - I don't mean on the internet

And do you think this will be future of casinos?
I think for offline casinos, will be very weird if still use digital currency to play. I mean it is used to play and not like casino which accept cryptocurrency to swap for a chip to play in that casino. Because it will almost like public internet things that people do gambling with bitcoin and other cryptoccurencies.
614  Economy / Speculation / Re: 20% price drop 7 months before the May 2020 halving? on: October 03, 2019, 02:06:47 AM
Actually i am little forget how price move before 2016 halving, but from what i see it is increased steady but sure until it's ATH. And not pump and dump in short time that come (correct me if i am wrong). That is why price of bitcoin stay longer in high price and then back to this price for now. Maybe dump and pump is something that usually happen and people only need to know the pattern so can make any decision with their investment from it.
615  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [TIPS] Periksa SSL Terlebih Dahulu Agar Terhindar Dari Web SCAM! on: March 11, 2018, 07:46:00 PM

617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Every cryptocurrency price is going down.... on: March 07, 2018, 09:24:57 PM
I saw in cryptocurrency market every coin value going down, let's talk something now about future cryptocurrency.
i think this time is because some bad news that come for cryptocurrency. news usually be a main factor for bitcoin price and it can affect a lot. maybe this is only temporary, when good news come price will rising
618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as money on: March 04, 2018, 03:39:06 PM
They say that bitcoin is the future of money. What do you think if we use bitcoin in everyday lives as a money? Like buying foods. Or buying clothes. Do you imagine it positively or negatively?
i think for now it is not really efficient. Fees still be problem. people wouldn't want to pay fee that higher than price of something that they buy. maybe for something online like software or program that usually have high price, bitcoin can help
619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vending Machine on: March 02, 2018, 04:54:32 PM
I'm a fan when it comes to vending machines.

The first modern vending machines were developed in England in the early 1880s.
I have never seen an actual vending machine that accepts bitcoin. It would be so awesome watching how it works.

Can you please tell me what are the advantages and disadvantages of this invention? Please share your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
maybe fee to send the coins is the main problem, as we know if vending machine commonly sell cheap thing like foods & beverages. and we must pay higher for the transaction fee. that is major problem
620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: February 04, 2018, 04:24:33 AM
This is a mistake a lot of us make. If you track btc every minute you are more prone to panic selling. Btc has a lot of ups and downs, if you are in it long term the short price has little meaning
just set alarm on price that you targetted. i totally agree with this thread but i am panic in altcoin market. BTC price not really extreme if compared with alt market that have high volume.
