1  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Domains on: March 30, 2014, 09:39:25 PM
I currently own a couple domains that I would like to sell for BTC. The domains and prices are as follows:
devitforme.com
bitcheck.info

Both domains are currently registered at Namecheap. I am willing to negotiate pricing.

Just used you service bought a 50$ wallet code and got it within 10 minutes. Very user friendly website with nice design and easy to follow instructions with a sense of humor. The guy clearly know what he is doing thank you for the code.
I believe you have the wrong person. I don't run any sites that sell wallet codes.

I'm sorry to say this, but you are not allowed to resell humble bundle keys.
I think they may have changed their stance on this, as they do have options to create other pages for the keys you don't want/need. I have sent them an email to confirm this, so until I hear back I won't execute any trades.

Nope, humblebundle only allows you to use your keys for personal purposes.  The other users you see are not following the rules.
If they have changed, let me know! Smiley  I doubt they would though, it's supposed to be "charity"

Well, still no official reply from them, but I looked through the TOS and found this :
Quote
You shall not, directly or indirectly, disclose the unique URL for your download page to anyone else or use anyone else's download page. You are solely and entirely responsible for all activities that occur on your download page.
That leads me to believe that if I create a download page for that key then it is fine. Furthermore, I looked through the document for any cases specifying that the keys may not be resold or given away (apart from what it says in the above quote), so maybe they've changed their stance. I will still await an official response before continuing though. (If you have any further insight into this please let me know)

Are you giving humble bundle link or the key?
The way that the new Humble Bundles work is that they automatically add the game to your account, and you never see the key. So, I will be giving the actual Humble Bundle generated gift pages (now that you can generate them on a per-key basis) once I confirm with them that selling those games using their new system is acceptable.

I have a few extra Steam keys that I would like to sell for BTC. All prices are listed in BTC, and I will update the prices if the current BTC/USD price changes significantly. Prices are negotiable. Please either reply here or PM me if you are interested.

The games are as follows:
  • Garry's Mod - 3 mBTC (0.003 BTC)
  • Orcs Must Die! GOTY - 4 mBTC (0.004 BTC)
  • Sanctum: Collection - 5.5 mBTC (0.0055 BTC)
  • Shatter - 3 mBTC (0.003 BTC)

I am awaiting confirmation from Humble Bundle that selling these keys is NOT against their TOS. Due to this, I will not perform any trades during this time. However, I am open to negotiating prices for if they approve.

If you are desperate about getting rid of them, you can send them to a bot such as "Dota 2 Dispenser" (http://steamcommunity.com/id/dota2bot?l=english) who will take them and send them to people that request a copy. I have used the one mentioned above and it was quick and easy, and they are no longer filling my entire inventory!   Smiley
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: Peerbet.org - Play without house edge! [BONUS FOR TRANSLATORS] on: March 22, 2013, 08:48:20 PM
We are happy to announce bonuses for the Peerbet website and Android app translation. You can earn 0.01-0.1 BTC depending from the localization value to the Peerbet (i.e. popular languages will be rewarded higher). You need to translate website's locale files and Android app's strings.xml.

If you are interested in, write what languages do you know.
I've started doing French; let me know if someone else is already doing it!

10  Economy / Services / Re: bitcoin question site, offering payouts for questions asked and answered. on: March 15, 2013, 09:30:02 PM
The site you are referring to is (I believe) Rugatu. Here's the original forum thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=147119.0. The thread doesn't say that the promotion is closed, so you chances are you can still get the reward!

12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Vanity addresses: how to get them? on: February 28, 2013, 10:08:23 PM
Does generating an address reserve that address on the network then? Or are you just mathematically validating said address?

Once you have a validated unused address, How does one then get it into your wallet ?
It doesn't reserve it in the networks (at least I'm NEARLY sure it doesn't) until you add it to your wallet. What wallet are you using to store your addresses? If you are using a web-based wallet, it varies, but for Bitcoin-QT (the desktop client), go here for instructions: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/How_to_import_private_keys

How does one generate vanity addresses on bitcoin and alts?
You can use vanitygen (link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=25804.0). If you don't want to do it yourself, you can get others to generate the keys for you (just be aware that some people are scammers). I would be happy to make you one, PM me if you are interested.
