81  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Asset Exchange Marketplace on: March 14, 2013, 06:02:55 AM
I haven't tried it with chrome yet, but the old graph worked fine. It's a javascript hang, maybe differences in garbage collection?
82  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Coinabul owe me 90btc on: March 14, 2013, 06:01:53 AM
I don't think coinabul is actually registered for otc, you'll have to rate one of the owners on OTC.
83  Economy / Securities / Re: Official Exchange-Spot Investment Support Exchange.ESIF ESIF ESBM on: March 14, 2013, 06:01:17 AM
I'm pretty sure pokey referred that as the "blanket buyback from asset issuer" instead of 'request a buyback'.
84  Economy / Securities / Re: Official Exchange-Spot Investment Support Exchange.ESIF ESIF ESBM on: March 14, 2013, 06:00:08 AM
He could be buying put options of BTC, but I have a feeling there's nothing but hot air behind this.

Surely he'd need to buy calls, not puts - and the premium on those would exceed his supposed profits anyway.
Sorry, you're right, calls, but I agree it's pretty implausible.

You offer buybacks at 110% of the recent trading price? Can I request a buyback from you or would it be that I have to trade it on the market?
85  Other / Meta / Re: Self-moderated topics on: March 14, 2013, 05:58:05 AM
Allowing self moderation for announcement threads would allow services to link directly to the thread without worrying some competitor is going to plug their business or troll there, through.
86  Economy / Securities / Re: bASIC REFUND RECEIVED & NEWS STREAM on: March 14, 2013, 05:56:52 AM
Thanks you for the update! But about the refund, it's only a 80% USD refund, so are we expected to receive more in the future? And if so will it only be a maximum of a 100% USD refund or could/should it be a a 100% BTC refund, if bASIC kept their funds in BTC?

I've kept up on the bASIC situation and I think we should be happy that we got an 80% refund.  The fact that we have now received a BTC38 refund is all I know.
But didn't bitcoin/usd increase a lot more than 20%? Was it 80% using the rate at the of payment or 80% now? If it's the latter, then props to cablepair.
87  Economy / Services / Re: [WANTED] Web/PHP Developer! 5BTC on: March 14, 2013, 05:55:45 AM
Isn't there a scammer accusation against ironcross?
88  Economy / Services / Re: [Wanted] 3 people to proof read my BTC guide. Approx 30 - 60 min. for .30 BTC on: March 14, 2013, 05:54:43 AM
I would definitely me interested! Send me a PM please.
89  Other / Meta / Re: Split products and services? on: March 14, 2013, 05:54:07 AM
I think topic tags would work better than splitting the board?
90  Other / Meta / Re: Self-moderated topics on: March 14, 2013, 05:53:24 AM
Self-moderated topics? Can you say what boards this applies too? This is going to be bad if it is on certain boards, cause some people can edit threads to benefit them, I really hope it is just the off-topic board.
I think on boards like Gambling, Games and Rounds, this would work quite well, maybe also announcement / support threads.

Probably not scammer accusations.
91  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll - Who would you vote for to replace Gavin, if it was needed on: March 14, 2013, 05:52:02 AM
IMO, everyone on this poll is a good choice but if I had to pick, I voted for gmaxwell for generally being more active on #bitcoin-dev

Testing
93  Other / Meta / Re: Self-moderated topics on: March 14, 2013, 05:47:54 AM
Definitely an interesting feature for a forum - will users see when posts are deleted? Maybe a message saying "poly has deleted foo's post"?
94  Other / Meta / Re: Gmail spam-blocking forum mail? on: March 14, 2013, 05:47:03 AM
Will the forum's non-spam reputation increase over time, you think?

I'm on PIA's vpn and sometimes get the Google spam captcha. It seems to depend being on two or three different IP blocks. bitcointalk.org is hosted by PIA so Google is probably  marking mail connecting from some of PIA's IP blocks as spam.

That's possible. We're hosted by nforce.nl. PIA has many servers there, though nforce.nl also has other customers.
If a lot of people mark it as not spam, sure.
95  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bryan Micon's Butterfly Labs Scammer Investigation including Josh Zerlan on: March 14, 2013, 05:46:24 AM
lol so they're sales now eh? What did they sell?
Quality boxes!
96  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Coinabul owe me 90btc on: March 14, 2013, 05:45:06 AM
This whole situation is obviously reeks of scam.  The only reason he is getting away with it, is because somebody doesn't have the fortitude to stick a hot poker in the fucker's (coinabul) eye.

Another sad part of this, is he still seems to be a member in good standing at #bitcoin-otc.  I must say, that the leadership at #bitcoin-otc as also guilty by association at this point.

Please, do you know how to update their status on the #bitcoin-otc ?
You can rate Coinabul yourself if you are an otc user.
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitZino - Provably Fair Bitcoin Casino - Now featuring Slots! on: March 14, 2013, 05:44:07 AM
I've comped your account with another quarter-BTC to thank you for helping us make bitZino better!

By the way, this has been one of the most successful game launches we've seen yet. It's been less than 24 hours since launch and we've already seen more than 12,000 real-BTC slots wagers placed!

Thanks for the comp, and congratulations on your success!

I found another problem:

I'm typing in the 'bet per line' box.  I typed the zero in "10", and the "current bet" updated to 5.  It should of course be 50.  If I type another zero, it updates to 50, when it should now be 500.  It's always one keystroke behind.  If I delete a zero to change the "bet per line" back to 10 then the "current bet" shows 500.  If I hit backspace one too many times the current bet shows "NaN", when it would be better to show 0 I think.

Edit: oh, and I posted a link on reddit about your slots game: http://www.reddit.com/tb/1a8x4t
This should be really easy to fix! What event have you binded the update function to? You should use keyup.
98  Economy / Lending / Re: Bitcoin-Financial.com on: March 14, 2013, 05:42:52 AM
You are correct sir.
How many hours have you spent researching and selling bitcoins? Count in merchant fees, chargebacks (or time spent dealing with chargebacks).. All for $500 profit.
99  Economy / Lending / Re: 2nd Reputation Loan 5% 1 bitcoin BTCJAM on: March 14, 2013, 05:41:33 AM
What is a reputation loan?  Obviously you are taking out smaller loans to try and get a bigger loan.  What size loan is your ultimate goal and for what purpose?
To scam people, of course.

Investing in reputation loans is pretty much gambling.
100  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 14, 2013, 05:40:52 AM
mrb, like you've bet with Micon, you are thinking that BFL and co will actually ship in the next few months. You're about to lose your bet with Micon, and while I have no doubts about BFL shipping a few units, they're not going to ship all their orders in a few days.
