Perfect solution for SMOS would be to have additional two fields (OC page) related to mem/core voltage but as I understand it's not possible. Right?
Its a limitation of the AMD Linux drivers, nothing tytanik can do about it. what do you mean he cant? Ethos already solved it... Cmon tytanic we cant wait anymore. People cant wait for ages. Will start swtiching to ethos or windows soon... Bump, I second that.

Hello, I created 1 Rig with 3 ASUS R9 280x but it only can get about 12-13MHs for GPU, it's normal? I think it could be more profitable, probably it have the wrong driver configuration. I searched and i found this GPU can get 23-25MHs. How can I get that?
Thanks for your help.
Best regards, Claudio Machado
Your research is too old and outdated. You have the correct hashrate. You should be mining zcash, sia or digibyte to maximize your profit.

seriuosly guys how to mine eth+sia with simpleminer? tried everything now.... who can share their command line? or its not possible at all? im loosing faith Refer yourself to claymore dual miner page. It is quite clear how to do it: nanopool Ethereum+Siacoin: EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal YOUR_ETH_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -epsw x -dpool " http://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:9980/miner/header?address=YOUR_SIA_WALLET&worker=YOUR_WORKER_NAME&email=YOUR_EMAIL" -dcoin sia nanopool Ethereum+Siacoin(Stratum): EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eu1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal YOUR_ETH_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://sia-eu1.nanopool.org:7777 -dwal YOUR_SIA_WALLET/YOUR_WORKER/YOUR_EMAIL -dcoin sia

can somebody tell me how much the RX 570 and RX 580 cards give Mh/s in stock? i saw many already have this cards, please give me some feedback! please
It is just some minor improvements over the core clock compared to 470 and 480. All the RX 4xx series are going EOL, no more stock in the future. Also the RX 5xx series will consume a bit less power than RX4xx. Anyways you don't have a choice, you will need to buy RX5xx for your mining purposes. I believe the RX5xx series are performing well for Ethereum mining and a bit better for Zcash since the core clock is higher on stock settings. On custom bios comparaison, the RX5xx will just consume a bit less. I still have to finish my testing, but this is what I think we will get in the end. Hope this helps

maybe elpida memory card. need custom strap edited bios. that card has dual bios. 1: 2:
I get 29-30Mh/s with these cards.
I don't know if I'm blind but my rx 570 pulse with elpida doesn't have a bios switch Hello, From my experience working with RX sapphire, only the nitro+ have dual bios. Do not expect all the cards having that dual bios option.

Hello again.
is it ok to change the root and miner user passwords? I'd like to forward ssh ports on my router and ssh to my rig from work while its working at home.
Just create a private VPN network, much easier and safer.

Hello, Will you be adding Nvidia and CPU mining support soon (I HOPE!)? Am increasing Nvidia rigs atm and would really like to only use one OS to run everything. Thanks
rig grouping is next after the dashboard update what you asked for is very far down on the list right now CPU mining is not suggested and most likely not worth it really. Most rigs we setup up have a shitty CPU, so you really want to invest your money on GPUs instead. I think there is another OS supporting Nvidia as we speak, but still very beta from what I read.

Hey guys,
So far we are having a lot of problems with them. It can only detect 4 GPUs, but we are trying other things to see.
I also saw some complaints about these supporting only 4 GPUs.
I will update my post later with our results, but so far it's shit.

Hey guys, We recently bought 40 of these on newegg.ca, we were at first so happy about that purchase since it has 2 molex and 6 PCI-e. We are still testing them, but so far we can only have 4 GPUs connections even if we tried this: http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/support/faq_content.php?S_ID=768I looked, there is a bios update dated on March 30, we will see if it helps. So far, we will have to send them back if the problem is not fixed. Keep you guys posted

Well done! Bump up for you and help show your pix. RX cards best for ETH mining. Good choice 470s R9 or 10XX Nvidia cards best for ZEC
Thanks for your inputs, ETH mining draws more power so I need to run the fans at higher rpm (so louder).I'm trying to keep everything quiet as the rig is sitting in the living room for now:). I'll look more into eth mining once i get some external fans incorporated with the rig. Hello,
I strongly recommend you plug the two molex on the motherboard, it helps stabilizing power fluctuation on the PCI-e and to prevent burning your motherboard on long term.
Cheers.
I'll try it out, thank you Hey, Did you try to modifiy the bios on these Rx 470? if not, you probably should because you can accomplish great results. I see that you have 3 models, send me the original bios and i'll modify them for you to mine ETH more effectively. PM me and i'll do it, of course for free. I should really start a bios library someday ^^ There is one on the market: https://anorak.tech/ but I personally didnt like any of them, more power and less mhs than what I achieved. Sorry if I offended someone from there D: Cheers.

Im not a linux guy could someone give me a write up on how to flash bios with smos or would it be easier to install win 7 and do it thanks
Putty is great when you want to access and test one rig. I would recommend to download this: http://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/download.htmlIt's a connection manager and SSH is one of them. You add your rigs there and it will connect to them in one click after, it even remembers the passwords after. When you will access the rigs through ssh, you will be able to see the folders path on the left side. Just create a folder called like ''bios'' (/home/miner/bios). Then you just click the upload bottom on top and you will be able to browse your custom rom and upload it inside bios folder. These are the commands you will need to run: screen -x miner crtl+c until it shutdowns (that you are back to main screen) sudo su dmesg -c /root/utils/atiflash -p -f 0 /home/miner/bios/yourcustomrom.rom If you are not sure about the GPU model, I try to see with atiflash -i 0,1,2, etc. Sometimes it helps lol

Just completed my first rig so figured post it so other ppl can get some numbers and other who run similar rig can give some advice as well. Mining ZEC on flypool with claymore miner 12.4 - NO MOD Components: Mobo: Biostar TB85 Ram: 4gb PSU: 1300W EVGA G2 (will use 1000w G2 for the next rigs) CPU: G1840 Celeron HDD: 16gb thumbdrive - SmOS GPU: 1 x RX470 8GB MSI GAMING-X OC 2 x RX470 4GB ASUS STRIX OC 3 x RX470 4GB MSI ARMOR OC P.S.: Just completed with 3 x Rx470 4GB ARMOR, before the addition I was getting close to 860 H/s with 1240/1950 (5-6). With 6 cards it was unstable with those setting and was running too hot for my liking(loud as well). With current setting its been running smoothly (1050/1500 (0) - 1.50MH/s). I think I could do better then that so some tips would be appreciated. Thank @tytanick for sharing your bit with the community! Please share your settings so you can do your bit for the community:) Well done! Bump up for you and help show your pix. RX cards best for ETH mining.
