1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Token payment not visible on: June 13, 2018, 01:58:32 PM
If someone can explain and help me I would appreciate it.

Recently I was participating in signature campaign where part of award was paid in Nollycoin tokens.
I gave the ETH addres that is ERC-20 compatible (I use Ethereum mobile wallet) and the transaction is visible on etherscan but not in my wallet.
Here it is:
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x562bd7ab6960c0c5d6610d7d7fd64951f5521ecabb49a8b53cb9e33b6cc9ee23

What could be the reason and what can I do?

So please, Meepospammer could you confirm the payments or at least partial payments and send some transaction list?
Thank you.

All the token payment has been sent in this campaign.
If you think, you aren't paid yet, kindly send me a message in this account

Has anyone received token payments yet? The payments cycle should have begun last week.
5  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Turning crypto into fiat or is that even nessesary anymore! on: May 29, 2018, 12:56:36 PM
I'd say this depends on the preferences.
Just collecting bitcoins in the wallet and not using it for anything doesn't make much sense either because bitcoin could be very practicaly applied. With bitcoin debit cards this became much more easier because you can load it with bitcoins and spend them as a fiat currency or take cash at the ATM so there is maybe no need anymore for some classic ways of exchanging.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks and governments scared of Bitcoin? on: May 18, 2018, 07:13:34 PM
To my opinion O don't think they are scared. They see at bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as kind of competition but they are not scared.
To be honest cryptocurrencies are still not strong enough to seriously endanger banks and their businesses.
But more and more banks see Bitcoin as a way to make profit for themselves and in the near future we might see some steps of banks in that direction.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates to Bitcoin on: May 15, 2018, 05:59:38 PM
I understand that Bill Gates represents the ičim for many people and he has achieved a lot but that still doesn’t mean that he is the expert for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Many are very disappointed with his attitude towards bitcoin but don’t take it so seriously. We can respect that opinion but don’t have to embrace it.
And no matter how influences he is that doesn’t need to harm bitcoin.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Сontinued growth or dramatic fall on: May 15, 2018, 05:32:34 PM
To my opinion, neither of these two options.
I don’t expect some dramatic price falls, currently there are no reasons on the market for that or soemthing that would announce it. On the other hand we see that the price is going back and forth all the time so we can’t speek about some growth but more or less keeping at the same range of values. Still hope bitcoin will brake those boundaries and start to move forward.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Learning Cryptocurrency in Universities? on: May 11, 2018, 07:51:51 AM
My answer is yes. Cryptocurrencies are the new reality in economy and business and young people should be informed about that and get some basic knowledge. Atitude that cryptocurrencies are reserved ony for bunch of enthusiasts is the wrong approach and should be changed.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep safe your Bitcoin from hacker on: May 10, 2018, 11:20:09 AM
It still looks funny to me that users don't know that bitcoin wallets can be vulnerable and that they need to protect it. But in reality many bitcoin users are actualy easy targets so there is a lot od space to promote security and to educate users of cryptocurrencies. Like they say, better safe than sorry.
12  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins now requires identification on: May 09, 2018, 12:49:47 PM
This is not the surprise. Regulation pressure especialy in the KYC part as well as anti-money laundering and terorrism financing is geting stonger and they are actualy forcedto obey such regulations in order to keep their business and to run it legitimately. But this also represents certain level of protection for users, despite the lower level of anonimity.
13  Economy / Services / Re: Need Hacker!! $100 USD in BTC on: May 09, 2018, 11:31:50 AM
I need someone to hack ALEKS.com. It teaches students math at their own paces, and moves them along in the course by having them answer math questions.

I need someone to hack it and progress me along in the course.

The method needs to be reduplicatable. I need to be taught how to do it.

Take a look at the website, and if you're interested pm me for some login creds for the website.

Thanks for looking

You obviously don't understand it now but math education is very important and you will need ut later in yur life. Or you just want to stay ignorant?
Anyway, I don't think hackers would be interested for this job, unless maybe some of your peers who has such skills ans it's willing do that for similar motivation. Rember that the shortest and easiest way isn't always also the best way.
14  Economy / Economics / Re: when you sell out of panic, you are contributing to the dump! on: May 09, 2018, 08:12:02 AM
So true but so many users simply don't understand that. Sometime I think they are new and unexperineced but some users who are dealing with crptocurrencies for long time often make the same mistake.
Not they are just making mess on the market but very often they also make the loss for themsleves selling at unfavourable price. But I'm afraid this is something we can't control and can't influence much except maybe with more education of people.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people want ETH to over come BTC on: May 09, 2018, 07:11:45 AM
Some think that Ethereum has more potential than bitcoin and that it has overcome some issues that bitcoin has. It has also a lot of potential to further develope in the future and to be more accepted in real life like bitcoin is.
Still I don't think Eteherum will take the bitcoin's place, it will remain at number two position and it will not achieve such popularity.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banknotes Debut in Singapore on: May 07, 2018, 10:51:43 AM
I'm not sure if this is realy necessary. I mean bitcoin is virtual digital currency and banknotes isn't something that bitcoin realy needs. Will this attract more users to bitcoin? I'm not so sure and I also don' think that idea like this would last for long.
17  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why some ICO required KYC? on: May 04, 2018, 12:00:37 PM
I don't think this is confusing. Regulations are becoming more and more strict and nayone who wants to run legitimate business needs to stick to those regulations and rules. Maybe clinets don't like that process very much but in fact it's necessary and it protects the final users and provides better service.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the risk necessary to make a big profit? on: May 03, 2018, 12:15:17 PM
No risk, no profit, this is how the things are working. It's natural that yiu can't make the fortune with only small investments so the more you invest, the more you risk too.
The main mistake that people often make is that they think they can only make profit and completely ignore possible losses and they end up disappointed. At the end it's your own decision how much are willing to risk and what is your apetite for profit.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IF the GOVERNMENT wins over BITCOIN? on: May 03, 2018, 09:15:03 AM
I'm not even aware that there is some war going on between bitcoin and governmrnts so how could government win. All this stories about fighting against bitcoin are exaggarated. Bitcoi is decentralized system and will stay so. And regulation attempts will not harm bitcoin so don't spread panic.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Green days are coming for bitcoin on: May 01, 2018, 12:19:42 PM
Bitcoin until now has passed $9000, just waiting until the uptrend. Do not sell your bitcoin, keep it for as long as you can. The end of the year will be a bitcoin proof for all of us.

The price is actualy changing all the time. At the moment it looked like it was heading towards 10000$ but now went down under 9000$ again. I think the conditions are not yet right for bitcoin to cross 10000$ or more but I'm convinced even this year we will see bitcoin fully to recover.
