I'm squinting, but I don't see your name in the stats page. To be honest, I was squinting before I was looking Miners aren't on 24/7 due to the power use/cost - so they jump in and out evenings/weekends - although arp/mac check on the switch implies a couple haven't started correctly (as no ip address) u/name is on https://www.kano.is/index.php?k=stats - its my forumname without the Rob bit

So like.....who in here could use some help getting out of that dust range and want to share some snax with the Scoobs and ole Shaggy?
Sadly, I'd only be out of Dust Range for the time you'll be adding hash, and ~4TH/s will then be back to dust - wouldn't want to deprive Scoob of useful Snax

Amount too small = dust = less than 10,000 satoshi - that was simply hard coded for the payments page.
I'd guessed the *00 and *000 amounts per block were too small to get paid out with the next block mined - will they just sit there until the total is > 10,000 sats (mine has been for a while) or until the next block has my %age/shares totally > 10,000 sats ?

Is there a way to see what has been paid vs what has been earned as https://kano.is/index.php?k=mpayoutsshows a number of 'transactions' which have never got to the blockchain (prob due to the amounts individually being small)

I'm mining with a cellular internet connection, so data is expensive.
Mining doesn't use massive amount of bandwidth/data-transfer, but can suffer from huge latency issues. Just get a hard-line installed, as it sounds like you're looking to solve the wrong problem

Swap the PSU's around, and see if the "problem" switches to the other borads - in which case replace the PSU
If that's not it, take it apart _carefully_ and check the cabling hasn't come out for the uart/usb/comms the board from the asics
And if that's not it, you have some boards which have failed - they do wear out - about 1/3rd of mine (all underclocked for efficiency/power reasons) died within a year

Thanks, only just spotted the reply and neither of those links work

address: VqSPcvUXVc2tg9sFSKHS8kKGNNZXYTG5sx.2
that .2 on the end makes me think someone has gotten access to your minera, and this is the second machine they have pointed to mining on that address.
means they can keep track of how much they earn of each hacked machine, but still only use a coin address so as to make it harder to track. (ie not a registered user at the site)
I'd hazard a guess that there is some 'backdoor' or default password in minera or something minera is including by default. Whomever 'VqSPcvUXVc2tg9sFSKHS8kKGNNZXYTG5sx' address belongs to appears to be mining with several machines I was asked to look at this week (and managed to switch the miner and blow up a psu by massive overclocking on one !) So far I've seen eight different minera users who've been hacked and had mining co-opted to the same address (but different bits-after-the-dot)

I'm seeing the same issue with BFGminer and P2Pool - upgraded both but still problematic - other pools working fine, it just keeps switching p2pools to 'dead'

I would sell 100 btc daily until I have 50k left.
Would take you about 26 years - the bitcoin 'experiment' will be long forgotten by then - it's the start of something, not the final goal.

You'll be able to pick your topics to troll Damn, I'd hoped you were actually going to use BTC to fund growing trolls from genetically mutated embyros

I need to know what's your problem, can you run the bfgminer command in a terminal window? Or can you look at the log?
I have a colo client with minera on an rpi - hey upgraded through the gui and bfgminer ceased running (no 'screen') - they stupidly had upgraded all 3 taking them all down ! Eventually found this thread and tried the forced git but still didnt start it. I have now compiled it again with the build_miner scripts and its working - so something in the update broke the shared libraries .so.0 Don't know what version they upgraded from though, sorry.

The CEO made a post on HT with the sole purpose of letting everyone know that he will announce something in a few hours or later today or whatever the phrasing was. And then didn't announce anything and didn't offer any explanation No-one whose been 'online' for more than 5 minutes takes any notice about 'coming soon' webpages, forum posts etc Plus the whole concept is counter-productive anyway - either make the announcement or dont - no-one gives-a-monkeys' about annoucements of upcoming annoucements :p

So my question to the experts here: Are my calculations correct?
Yes.

BTCGuild = 3% Fee (Thats ALOT when it comes to bigger BTC amounts) Eligius = due to some problems i seem to get there around 2% less than ghash.io So it DOES matter where you mine.
I get just under 4% less 'hashrate' at GHASH than BTCGuild which would counteract the 'fee', there are also (unconfirmed) missed payments - never quite managed to corroborate it, but certainly the ppol has found more blocks than the 'popup' message has notified me that i've received payment for the block YMMV, but personally I only allow the traded ghs from cex to mine at ghash.
