So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)
I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.
Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)
Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)
Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.
Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.
Put it in a cold storage and forget about it for some time! Do not invest, since there is no real and fair opportunity to invest. There are all scams and ponzis. Don't gamble. Reward yourself and buy yourself something nice since you have a nice stash here and put the rest in the cold storage!  I dont understand why are there so many people quitiing with the trades. i know trading is really unpredictable but you need to know when to trade and you can learn that easy. The problem for those people they are choosing newly releases altcoin that they dont know if that altcoin will stay long.. honestly i am not choosing those altcoin i stay in top 20 altcoin in coinmarket cap i a choosing those altcoin because they are living for a long time and they are still alive as of now.. so you can hold it for a long time if you didnt make a profit or if the price is not increase you can be still wait until you see the price is making a good profit. . |

For security purposes paypal is better than bitcoin but if you dont want to share your real identity bitcoin is better also you can use bitcoin easily than paypal this is the the difference of the two..

a country will never use bitcoin... maybe a country can create their own coin to have control on people  I have similar opinion, there is higher possibility that countries will create their own coin then chances for some country to adopt it. But that is for strong countries, small ones will need to adopt bitcoin or to follow some bigger country. On other hand when I see what New York did, and situation in states, Japan is very open toward bitcoin also, how many stores Brazil have that accept bitcoin? That tells me that there is a chance for btc to be adopted in all world one day. I heard that 150 stores in brazil has accepting bitcoin as payment.. but its not the case that there is a country that can make a coin for bitcoin to use locally we have already traditional coin we are using so its impossible. |

It is a big NO NO for me. It is also not advised to keep only bitcoins in digital form as it can be hacked anytime. If it happens, then you will be left with simply nothing.
Always maintain a good balance between cash and bitcoins. Maintain a certain percentage of your money in to bitcoin and also a good percentage in to cash so that you can use it anytime you want. Also the risk of hacking will be reduced.
Well its not a problem we can secured our balance to dont trace our transaction we have bitmixer here or increase your passphrase so that hackers cant hack your account.. for now since i still dont seen or heard hack bitcoins account unless they are weak passphrase to brute force their wallet. |

Unless a huge downfall or something can affect the price.
Then investing in bitcoin won't be that attractive since there is not much movement in price... Some people hoard bitcoin because it keeps on moving and they could take advantage of those ups and downs to earn in trading... But for sure if the price is stable many of those who use fiat in the internet or using their card might start shifting to bitcoin.. No mate. It is still attractive. Look how active fiat trades today, PHP to USD, USD to EURO, YEN to YUAN etc. Trades are really profitable even those have stable price. Even for a cents movement, the impact is really noticeable when you do fiat trades. The thing is you cannot master trading if you will have to trader different asset, I think it is advisable to focus only on limited numbers of assets that you are going to trade in order for you to give your time and effort to study it, and the result would be positive with enough knowledge. For me i starting to trade in bitcoin before altcoin if i have enough profit from bitcoin trading i will try to expand my knowledge into altcoin and try some strategy what i am doing in bitcoin.. trading is not easy but you can learn it gradually until you can set your strategy and make a good profit.. |

The only thing that I can think of is by just go out and looking for a other hobby that is going to help you for sure if you manage to find the right one for you.
If that does not help then you will have to get some help from a professional.
I guess that is the primary concern that OP is facing right now. It is very easy to say that you have to go out and find another hobby but the problem there is how he is going do to it because in reality it really isn't that easy. His facing some problem with gambling as the OP said but if he wants really to quit gambling for good then he shouldn't in gambling anymore find some hobby that he can do or repair their house plant some vegetable at your back of the house then chilx. But the thing there is how possible it is. Especially if OP is being hook up by gambling too much as advice i think if the problem is really fatal OP should take first a good advice from the professionals In that matter when the addiction is really serious, it is better to be bankrupt so he can realize that what he is doing is not right. You have your own opinion but i think that if you can still get away from it before getting drawn too much then i would rather go for that one. I think that only applies to those gamblers who never really learned their lessons well then it applies for all the gamblers in my opinion because all gamblers never learn from their lessons They will learn their lesson if they are experience of lots of loses in gambling and they will realize that they are wasting their time in gambling just like addicted in drugs that can affect also his life.. |

No I would never quit with my job for the bitcoin because I think that is just insane to do and it can let you have a lot of problems soon or later.
Yeah same i will never quit my job for bitcoin because bitcoin it not stable in pricing not like my salary in job it is stable and there are chance that it will increase per month if my possition will be ranked up or anything for me bitcoin is just a sideline that we can earn after we do our job in offices and or any thing in company the same for me, it would be just dumb to quit your job and go on bitcoins because you might lose a lot People should only consider leaving the real work if you found or has some steady income of 2-6 btc monthly, if you are earning something like 1-2 btc as salary, and even with such i wont advice you to left the real work, you will need those to retire later, bitcoin is here now and might disappear into the next years, nothing is sure or safe to make such step. In bitcoin there is no sure that you can make earnings because in bitcoin there is no contract unlike in job that has contracted for your job.. and you are sure you will get your salary unlike in bitcoin and doing job online.. |

Stopping with gambling can be done, I would let your friends help you to social control you and also believe self in it, if you do that I'm pretty sure that you will succeed with stopping with it.

But it would be very difficult if they don't entirely want to get out of gambling or did they get addicted in gambling. so it is something that should be done will be greatly hindered to succeed. If you want to get out of gambling, eliminate all thoughts about gambling and enlisted the help of family or friends to control our activities well everything is possible to be honest, in my opinion it would be really hard to quit it if you are addicted Not all people are hardly get out or quit into gambling if they are addicted because i am also addicted before but i can control my self because i know i will have nothing to get in gambling almost everything in gambling you can get nothing.. |

Buying a hardware wallet can be good but I think that I would not use it a lot because I have some other wallets.
I also use online wallet so that is why..
I think that its also not worth it because its not very easily with payments, online wallets are better for payments. On the other hand hardware wallets can be nice for large amounts maybe. For me its good to lite version like our uses online wallets or electrum.. i tried to use hardware wallet but i have only slow internet it takes a long time before you can sync if you dont open your hardware wallet gradually or daily you will late for syncing and it takes a long sync again if you have a slow internet. |

It's hard, isn't it? I guess all of us, the addicted gamblers, have tried to abstain from gambling more than we could afford to lose. I hate it when I have that 'come on, this has to be the lucky day!' feeling, it's making me want more and more profit or to get my money back AND make profit too. We've been through this and I wish I hadn't done a few moves months ago when I lost my deposit.
Yes, stopping at right time mostly pains a lot like stopping in the middle of sex. But in order to sustain with a gambling, we must know when to stop our gambling to protect our capital from further losses. But, I was not successful with this due to my greediness and I always want to continue my gambling till all my bankroll get vanished. I do not agree that stopping at right time mostly pains as those people pain more who stop at the time when they do not have remain in their hands. Stopping at right time give a god feeling to the person who often lose in gambling. while for funwe can do some bets with affordable price for entertainment. I think we can introducing bitcoin to kids via game that give reward bitcoins on their games, although games are bad for kids but we can not explain about bitcoin technically, they will not understanding about it.
