541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: June 20, 2017, 07:42:13 PM
i just set up a new rig, 3x 1080 ti

Code:
CUDA: Device: 0 Thread exited with code: 4

what can it be?

not enough power on my psu (only 750w)
some powerlimiting and not too much overclock did the trick

maybe because it's still beta the mining hash looks fast or.. extremely new tech and Innovation, but how can we backup our account balance ? I couldn't find the priv key or some kind of it

if you are using chrome then the wallet might be stored in %localappdata%\Google\Chrome\User Data\
i couldnt find it either, i guess the betanet is not designed to move/backup the wallet

What steps are going to be put in place to prevent the hashrate being eaten up by botnets?

If the plan is to allow websites to bundle the code into websites what steps will be taken to ensure Chrome/Firefox/IE from blocking the javascript as malicious?

botnets are going to be all over this... i dont see a way to block them Sad
what about simple spyware, infected browser with corrupted homepages, those sad slaves will give it everything they got...

Interesting. I thought paypal (ebay) doesn't like crypto because of the credit card chargeback issue.

well i cant tell you, i didnt sell it, i just saw a bunch of listings on ebay last year.

51 initiated at 20:48, confirmed at 20:51

thanks i got them, there is no way to know where it came from, there is no history yet.
i thought i had hit another block untill i read here Cheesy

Since I didn't get a satisfying answer to my question, let me ask it again: are the so called 'beta-coins' completely useless or what? I think it's fair that they represent some kind of value for the ICO's and what not. People spend time and effort into those. Well, at least I did.

well, ethereum testnet ether sold quite well on ebay Cheesy
you never know untill you know, at least you and/or the developer learned something...
BTCBTCBTC

now i didnt read the whole thread, only some pages but i didnt saw any mining results.

but first i gotta say, i very much like the browser based blockchain idea.
i always thought ethereum should run in browser only.

now there is alot that i dont understand. i have to read some more, maybe wait for more info Cheesy

but i do have a couple of different browser mining Nimiq @ 11-13kH/s each on the same pc.
firefox cannot connect and kills the cpu while trying to (80-99% usage).

now i dont see how do we get the Hashrate? you said its memory based? fast memory, fast hashrate?
i see on the first page you have roughly the same same hashrate as me ~11kH/s so each browser will be equal?

where and how is the wallet saved? is it like a cookie or flash object? java script object?
how do we back up the wallet and load it elsewhere?
i closed one miner and reopened it and it had the same address, thats good. but in private modus i got a new address..

one miner got lucky and it took around 4min to transfer all 50 from one wallet to another.
i like how the wallets on both ends gets activated once the transfer starts if both are online mining.

send me some testnet NIMIQ:

my node ran for 6 days untill they shut down the mvp test, sadly it wasnt enough to grab some token Sad

where I can check if I get the bounty or not (for node test)

log into your ethereum wallet, add a custom token with the following data:

Address: 0xa645264c5603e96c3b0b078cdab68733794b0a71
Token symbol: MYST
Decimals: 8

myetherwallet.com makes it easy, i didnt try any other way yet....

i feel some potential here Cheesy
but, is the faucet not paying?

24h ago i started my first few runs in the digital trip,
ive been trying different wallets, exchange, webwallet, paperwallet.

none of them have been credited.

i play the game, enter my address, click send:
"transaction started. Wait for complete..." is the awnser....

i waited, i played again .. no payments.
whats the secret ? how long do you have to wait?
i disabled adblock, nothing changed.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.4 (Windows/Linux) on: June 05, 2017, 03:07:26 PM
claymore, if you launch the miner with win 10 task scheduler then it doesnt have fan control and gpu power control

i said more about it here
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.4 (Windows/Linux) on: June 03, 2017, 12:43:17 PM
hey guys, claymore,
i have a problem with win 10 task scheduler & rx580 nitro+ LE
it launches ethdcrminer64.exe without fan control an without custom gpu power config.
its kinda weird.. its seems it only loads parts of the config.txt file.
it is mining but only 26mh/s, the fan control is offline, gpu gets 75c and the fans are chill at 30% ^^
while ethman doesnt show gpu temp and fan speed.
after i launched saphirre trixx i saw the custom power config didnt apply too.

i did set win10 task scheluder with highest priority and 1min delay after windows boot without login and saved pw.

after i kill the task and launch ethdcrminer from bat file is is working normal..
31.5mh/s full fan control, ethman showing all data and custom gpu power

the logfile shows all arguments get loaded. but claymore isnt able to apply them..
even after a manual launch from task scheduler ...
ADL no AMD Adapters found

for security reasons i would rather not launch from autostart after login
a workaround maybe could be done with trixx but i dont think it should be nessesary
my old rigs dont use custom gpu power and do stable fan at 80% so the problem never came up Smiley
but now that i am talking about that, ethman wont show gpu temp and fan speed on the old rigs too..
they all launch from task scheduler.... so it might be the same problem...

so recommended method was myetherwallet, since I could not 1 second ico send a ether Huh?? Does not anyone could foresee? It was necessary to write lest synchronize local eth wallet !!! him to send the eth

are you devs have recommended myetherwallet and you have received a chance to be a golem project

only if it was your first ethereum ico.
ive read in other icos people had the same problem.
not with myetherwallet in general, but things like gas price too low and money wouldnt arrive quickly enough.
i guess we should have known that using a 3rd party server isnt a good idea for lightning fast ico with big potential.

if you dont know, now you know.. always have a node ready

money is still flowing in... ^^
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: November 11, 2016, 04:18:57 PM
Crowdsale Golem over! We raised 820000 ETH in 20 minutes. Thank you everyone who participated.   Wink Wink Wink

so what with exceeding 180000?

i guess it gets sent back to origin.
to be sure you could check the smart contracts source code.

i wonder what would have been a good gas cost price to make it in... 60k? 200k? 1000000?
554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][GNT] Golem Project - The world’s most powerful supercomputer on: November 11, 2016, 04:02:19 PM
What a complete charade. You recommend people use MyEtherWallet and then it fails to produce the transaction data in time. I tried for several minutes without success. I wonder how many other people missed out after following your instructions to the letter.

yeah sadly myetherwallet killed my chances too.. guess we will have to download the big ethererum blockchain blob for next time..

congrats on your win golem network.. 1 million ether in 30-40min even while your website was down.
luckly i had the site opend on my mobile phone too and i was able view it all happening Cheesy

555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Genoil's ZEC miner: AMD ZCash miner for Windows - 0.5 on: November 02, 2016, 12:13:06 AM
sometimes the miner shows 0 sol/s, sometimes it shows connection error, sometimes miner stopped and window disappear. What can be done to solve these ?

Please tell me a way so my miners restart if there is any error at least

change the pool, flypool is currently very unstable with 4-5000 active miners

@extremal

thanks for th quick reply (in my timezone its very late)

the following wallet has 0.005+
is the the system going to payout automaticly soon?
does it notice the change in minimun payout even without active miner?

if not please do a manual payout:

thanks in advance

please lower my payouts to 0.001 or 0.005

thanks for your service, i had no problems and got my first payout Smiley
but genoil miner gives 30 sol/s (had 11 here) so i hope you get it updated

one of my rigs has 4 cards
when i start the miner i get an error:

opencl error: -48 at /build/xpmcient/src/zcash/zcashgpuclient.cpp:384

mining starts but gpu0 is always crashed
gpu1-3 are working untill server shutdown... reconnect...

but it doesnt reconnect and gpu1-3 generate shares into oblivion
i have to manualy restart.

does anyone a way to let the miner restart lets say every 30min under windows 10?
ill google now but maybe someone has a headsup.

3 other rigs with the same setup all working only different amd driver.
btw i got best result with 16.06 driver .. all cards around 11 sol
with older driver i only get 10 sol per card

Guys. How to change GPU fan speed in ubuntu 16.04 ? and frequencies and voltage?

this does work!?

Check temps of ALL cards by running aticonfig --adapter=ALL --od-gettemperature
- Constantly monitor temps by running watch -n 3 aticonfig --adapter=ALL --od-gettemperature
- Set the fan speed of each GPU by running DISPLAY=:0.X /usr/bin/aticonfig --pplib-cmd "set fanspeed 0 Y", where "X" is your AMD GPU device number (e.g 0, 1, 2 etc) and "Y" is the fan speed percentage (e.g. 85, 95, 100 etc).

oh im sorry, i think it wont work .. ubuntu 16 changed the amd driver ...
