sorry but this is bad luck and nothing else.
maybe, but the first two didnt have the certificate. the current bequite has a silver certificate. the spare corsair is bronze. its not just a label. these labels are proof that people tested the quality to its limits and it survive a certain situation. mining is using psu to the max. 24/7 ... those cheap psus are not made for that. they will fail on you. but yes, also certified ones fail. dust and high usage will degrade the hardware. the weakest link will break edit: and if you think Coolermaster and Thermaltake bronze are the cheap ones then you dont know much about psu. Try to find a "noname" grey psu, 500 watts or more, open it and you will understand the meaning of cheap.
well, here are some local prices: coolermaster 700w (no cert): €60 thermaltake 700w (no cert): €70 bequite 700w (silver): €100 i would love to see a picture and the difference in the noname psu vs a high quality one  very interresting. im sure you are right. cheap in my case were the local instant available options. |

tightvnc is working very good and it is open source with secure connection i wanted to switch to rdp, i use it with vps and it comfortable, what are the problems with it on miner, slowdowns? i also plan on buying awesomeminer or one of those monitoring softwares. but i have a hard time trusting their service  but once your farm is at a certain size you just need it, time is money  the last i heard from teamviewer there were some big holes in their security. but it was some time ago. less software is better, each 3rd party app is potential security risk. keep that in mind |

well, i recently had some new experience with psu.
got me an asic which should only pull 400w, so i brought 700w cheapst psu (coolermaster) for it.
mining was stable for 1 day. after that mining offline, psu dead.
so i returned the psu and got a slighlty more expensive one ($10 more, thermaltake), still 700w
this one only lasted 5min! another dead psu.
now im running the high class brand (bequite) 700w psu, $40 more than the cheapest.
and its working for 2 days now. i also got another (corsair) 750w in case something goes wrong again :/
dont save on psu.

The IP address on mine was different than what's on the sticker. Be sure you switch your PC to the right IP subnet/network to find it.
Mine was 192.168.4.3
pc to another subnet or the router? lets see.. Just download Wireshark and listen to the ARP requests coming from the miner. Those will tell you the IP address. From there, change your IP address to be on the same network. (ex: 192.168.4.x) yes this was the best way to fix the problem. set the ip on the pc (also use the 192.x.x.1 as gateway), internet wont work but the miner ui will be available. use static ip from your known subnet or enable dhcp, restart miner, setup pool, enjoy BTCthank you very much |

mine also arrived today, I have one with a failed board, only hashes at 50%, board1 temperature remains low so it looks like its not hashing at all.
my miner gets warm like it is hashing xD (the working one gets hot ) did you check all the cables? guess you did.. i think only thing you can do is send it back. questions is if you are allowed to open and send only the broken board |

i received my units yesterday. lynn and ivy are very helpfull. have some patience, they will get back at you with good results. fedex sends sms, wait a day and then ask for tracking number. fedex took 6 days including weekend shipping to eu. sadly one of the two e9+ doesnt work at the moment. it starts but after one minute a red led starts flashing. on other asics people call it "red light of death" or something xD i think it indicates that the miner is not hashing. network leds seem fine but the unit is not in my network. ipscan and router list failed to find the device. maybe dhcp was off in this unit with weird ip config. not sure if this could make the miner fail, no internet on ethernet, no hashing. the support sounded like they could help me via teamviewer. i wasnt setup at the moment, they will try to fix it later tonight. not sure if this will work since the device is not on network. i really dont want to send it back  btw fyi, the working miner came with english user interface. very nice update |

yes the docs in the official github will guide you throu somewhere in this thread a nice guy helped me compile on linux 17.x .. you need to change some code for this ubuntu, 14.x works without i believe take a look here and read a little further |

oh wow, i just see, my linux node isnt offline.. i got paid 2 times on the 3rd and today the 6th once (yet)

whats the eta for the new wallet?
because im sad to say that this wallet is very unstable in linux and windows.
i never got the amount which im supposed to get. server stops after 1-2 days without reason.
this is kinda frustrating.. hope the new wallet gets here soon...

generally speaking promoting the coin is a good thing but it is also important consider the quality of these articles because some could potentially arm DeepOnion more then help. Imagine if are read as spam or unpleasant and unprofessional, it is better to create a contest in official forum then vote the best say 5 works, then everyone can link in their social / contacts / wathever

I just checked the status now when i read people talking about payment whereas there is nothing in my account and found that i have blacklisted for unknown reason and i must point it out here that there is NOTHING that could justify this ban. The Onion team needed to be more open in their operations, i am still expecting my onions because i worked for it. why does it always have to be unknown reason  sorry to hear that, im sure crypto-rainbow will review your account. maybe someone in the security team has his/her own agenda |

Hi Forgive me for my ignorance i may be completly wrong and look like an idiot but .. I did the following; git clone https://github.com/magnatum/magnatum-source.git

The only changes i can see are - The checkpoints have been removed
- block rewards changed to 250
- A find and replace on the word Signatum
- Some IP addresses
Is this the case or am i being dumb ? good info thanks |
