701  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Risk free Avalon partnership? on: March 20, 2013, 05:29:23 PM
I would love to partner with someone in China to buy and run Avalons.

Here is the deal: I can fund the BTC (or can figure out sending RMB via bank transfer) to buy 1 avalon unit of 85GH.
You run the unit.
We share 50-50 in profits.
Only condition: In the beginning, I get paid 95% of mining profits - till the cost of the avalon unit has been earned.

Preference given to people who already run an Avalon ASIC miner and who are technically proficient.
And to someone who is in good standing on the forum.

Why don't you run it yourself?
Because if you are running it with another forum member it will make it a lot easier to buy and run for the both of you.

704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it smart to use mtgox as your bitcoin wallet on: March 20, 2013, 03:30:39 PM
It is never smart to let a third party hold your bitcoins for you.

This.

+1

but if you want to trade you have to give away your direct access
+1

bitcoin is in the control of the miner if you go through third party that kind of kills the point.

Still available last guy was a time waster.

You are asking to large a price considering you can get them new for the price.

I know I'm a noob but I will be up for it if you are still looking for someone.
I will cover power and internet costs.
707  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Hash Rate Collapse On 5770? Any Ideas? on: March 20, 2013, 02:44:13 PM
Hey dudes. I've got one 5770 in one pcie slot that has dropped in hashing power from 180MH/s to about 80MH/s.

I've tried mining under windows and Ubuntu but their both a bad. It happened after I was goofing around with a multi card setup with an additional 5850. But I've taken that out to get this 5770 sorted out

It must be something to do with the card or the card firmware? Any ideas my friends?

Found this on my first day of mining.

708  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER GPU FPGA overc monit fanspd RPC stratum linux/windws/osx/mip/r-pi 2.11.3 on: March 19, 2013, 08:48:21 PM
Got to say I have tried loads of other software for mining and this has got to be my favourite Cheesy

Cool Keep up the awesome work Cool
Thanks Smiley it's a labour of love (and anger and hatred and frustration and trolling and headache and heartache and pain at times).

Without all your work think about how many people would not be mining.
Never give up Smiley

711  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: **Now on Bitmit** USED Minecraft Account! on: March 19, 2013, 02:27:43 AM
Good, you want to sell stuff, fine.  But USED Mc accounts? No offence here, but mate, they may be stolen or someone can clam em back as mentiond by some people here.
Not to offend you, but I want to "warn" people that CAN somethimes happen with "used" accounts.

Plus minecraft accounts now most of them are assigned to an email address that you can never change.

715  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Nvidia + radeon in same system on: March 18, 2013, 04:52:45 AM
Interested in same setup

im running 6950.

using GUIMINER scrypt, latest radeon drivers, installed SDK first.

and I have to create a reaper miner in guiminer and the default settings work for that

cgminer always used my Nvidia gtx even when i selected my device as the cayman GPU

PC seems to slow down a big overall though

I have plenty of ram

Use the --gpu-platform option in cgminer. You need to be running 2 instances of cgminer, one for nvidia devices and one for amd devices.

thanks this worked: --gpu-platform 1

Pc still slow @ intensity 18 even though all my monitors I use are on the Nvidia. just some quick short hangups

cgminer shows a higher/more steady hashrate @ 398 at stock 6950 8000 thread concurrency

If you are getting hang ups then their might be a bottle neck on your miner system that or the heat of the cards is really high so they slowdown/stop to prevent damage due to overheating.

717  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: **Now on Bitmit** USED Minecraft Account! on: March 18, 2013, 04:21:25 AM
Well its not stolen.

I got to ask, why would someone buy a used account when their is a chance it is stolen?

But how would we know that?
