No it doesn't. Check whether any more blocks have been mined before the launch.
My bad, blocks 0, 1 and 2 were mined earlier, but it seems block 3 was mined at 23.35 this evening. (so not too bad) Will edit my other posts.

there was a 1% premine it says so on the OP
Here's the premine transaction in block 1 { "txid" : "9288d6138f74c738dfcf4e933c14f5b2a1669ae8836cadfa822d29b474c8153e", "version" : 1, "locktime" : 0, "vin" : [ { "coinbase" : "510104062f503253482f", "sequence" : 4294967295 } ], "vout" : [ { "value" : 550000.00000000, "n" : 0, "scriptPubKey" : { "asm" : "022ab4751fb032d57aa65c197560766a14655ef4797ae072ca40e227f2cdd03c44 OP_CHECKSIG", "hex" : "21022ab4751fb032d57aa65c197560766a14655ef4797ae072ca40e227f2cdd03c44ac", "reqSigs" : 1, "type" : "pubkey", "addresses" : [ "RGCTvYze9spFiqfw8sv3EXdKiZChNJovMN" ] } } ] }

Uh, the genesis block is usually generated before the launch, if I understand correctly?
And the genesis block is block 0

So, the UNIX timestamp on block 1 (block with the premine) is 11.28 am GMT: { "hash" : "45f6e157ace258cd48564ae3456206f588dc6998c7ec498f6a7c5f56e67ebd53", "confirmations" : 508, "size" : 186, "height" : 1, "version" : 2, "merkleroot" : "9288d6138f74c738dfcf4e933c14f5b2a1669ae8836cadfa822d29b474c8153e", "tx" : [ "9288d6138f74c738dfcf4e933c14f5b2a1669ae8836cadfa822d29b474c8153e" ], "time" : 1391858896, "nonce" : 2541424640, "bits" : "1e0ffff0", "difficulty" : 0.00024414, "previousblockhash" : "4e038a9cf02efb6a125bf9e1669839007f7c90c41ed5df61a7dcb944cb2f707e", "nextblockhash" : "da31ae7fda76e02fd33b0c7e63776355c454a610949fab1b5d64cf0b62677fb8" }] Convert time here: http://www.onlineconversion.com/unix_time.htmHas this been premined for over 12 hours before launch? This is a 404, you need to push to Github.

I think this is the reason the client is eternally stuck in "not done yet" mode... looks like the dev forgot to delete checkpoints from the source he copied! Or can see into the future. static MapCheckpoints mapCheckpoints = boost::assign::map_list_of ( 1500, uint256("0x841a2965955dd288cfa707a755d05a54e45f8bd476835ec9af4402a2b59a2967")) ( 4032, uint256("0x9ce90e427198fc0ef05e5905ce3503725b80e26afd35a987965fd7e3d9cf0846")) ( 8064, uint256("0xeb984353fc5190f210651f150c40b8a4bab9eeeff0b729fcb3987da694430d70")) ( 16128, uint256("0x602edf1859b7f9a6af809f1d9b0e6cb66fdc1d4d9dcd7a4bec03e12a1ccd153d")) ( 23420, uint256("0xd80fdf9ca81afd0bd2b2a90ac3a9fe547da58f2530ec874e978fce0b5101b507")) ( 50000, uint256("0x69dc37eb029b68f075a5012dcc0419c127672adb4f3a32882b2b3e71d07a20a6")) ( 80000, uint256("0x4fcb7c02f676a300503f49c764a89955a8f920b46a8cbecb4867182ecdb2e90a")) (120000, uint256("0xbd9d26924f05f6daa7f0155f32828ec89e8e29cee9e7121b026a7a3552ac6131")) (161500, uint256("0xdbe89880474f4bb4f75c227c77ba1cdc024991123b28b8418dbbf7798471ff43")) (179620, uint256("0x2ad9c65c990ac00426d18e446e0fd7be2ffa69e9a7dcb28358a50b2b78b9f709")) (240000, uint256("0x7140d1c4b4c2157ca217ee7636f24c9c73db39c4590c4e6eab2e3ea1555088aa")) (383640, uint256("0x2b6809f094a9215bafc65eb3f110a35127a34be94b7d0590a096c3f126c6f364")) (409004, uint256("0x487518d663d9f1fa08611d9395ad74d982b667fbdc0e77e9cf39b4f1355908a3")) (456000, uint256("0xbf34f71cc6366cd487930d06be22f897e34ca6a40501ac7d401be32456372004")) ;
Does this mean the clients are going to start dropping off when we hit block 1500, and the hash doesn't match the checkpoint? Nice work. I think the only person mining this coin on block 1500 will be nintencoin, so no worries that it gets stuck!

Wow, did not know that set of commands, thank you. Also WTF dev...
No probs, yeah 50% premine is insane. The ironic thing is that they could have mined a few blocks with the wallet when everyone couldn't connect their cards, then release an update and most would be happy. No premine and the dev has a few blocks.
|
|
|
Seems to be a massive premine on block 1: { "txid" : "30eee6eae9cf0a7728edb6fb5eee3beee24ea1d13676abbc57727909e5efc5d0", "version" : 1, "locktime" : 0, "vin" : [ { "coinbase" : "510101062f503253482f", "sequence" : 4294967295 } ], "vout" : [ { "value" : 50000000000.00000000, "n" : 0, "scriptPubKey" : { "asm" : "0350ce182471764d72b341012179aae0f1fdf48645097db8677c2b0175c13173f2 OP_CHECKSIG", "hex" : "210350ce182471764d72b341012179aae0f1fdf48645097db8677c2b0175c13173f2ac", "reqSigs" : 1, "type" : "pubkey", "addresses" : [ "NSfHsjYLTjUfXjgAWmYeBNknH2iTNmdBsg" ] } } ] Shame the dev had to ruin what looked like a nice coin. Bye bye Nintencoin...

if the wallet is not sync'd all those mined coins will just disappear when you do sync. Just fooling yourself.
all who is to say those figures of blocks are correct someone could already mined 1000 block and its catching up
Yeah, well if the chain is not right, then it should be relaunched. But if we are all on the right chain (which we seem to be so far), then it is fair game for everyone.
|
|
|
I say relaunch how is a coin supposed to do good if 95% of the people cant mine it in the proper manner.
I say no relaunch. It is a level playing field for everyone, you can mine with the wallet. Difficulty is still low and blocks are not moving too quickly: "blocks" : 277, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00212290, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 9783, "networkhashps" : 135868, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false

dev online but no comment or info.
Dont be shy, if its gone tits up tell it like it is and just do a relaunch when the problem is fixed.
No need for relaunch, just release an updated client. Block 259 for me.
CPU miner doesn't connect, but can mine with the wallet. Arguably this makes it fairer for smaller miners!
until your wallet syncs then all those coins you think you've mined disappear. True, I don't know 100% if I am connected properly Edit: most of us seem to be on the same chain though. Block 267 now?

So now we can only solo mining, right?
Yep, this is solo mining only at the moment, but you should hopefully be able to find a few blocks per day at the moment.

Nice work, 1000 pNut sent: ac7596d834a56e8e61fa4e102774994d1b4b9f98befabce4f37c8a4dd6cf4e63 I'm not sure about the mac wallet, but the windows wallet has problems connecting. Would you mind rebuilding them with the seed nodes? addnode=78.30.234.229:25884 addnode=117.214.168.101:25884 addnode=134.119.3.19:25884 addnode=188.138.109.174:25884 addnode=192.81.217.82:25884 addnode=176.31.160.138 addnode=176.31.160.141
Once it connects nicely, I will gladly send the other 1000 for the windows wallet.

I'm rebuilding the natural nodes, you'll able to connect on them very soon edit: aaah thanks for the nodes No probs. Gotta head off now. Whoever posts the Windows & Mac wallets, post a pNut address & I will give the donation tomorrow

I'm trying to compile it. It's already done. If there are no errors, I could post it in about 10-15 minutes.
I might post first... Any other wallets needed? I will give another 1k pNut for a mac wallet

Cool! Make sure you iron out any bugs before launching
