it should be --scrypt and not --scrypt-jane.

Dude. I've mined scrypt-jane coins before and --scrypt is what I use. Here is what I have in velocity miner.
velocitycoinminer -o 127.0.0.1:21334 -u username -p password --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1387769316 -I 19

Edit: I downloaded the miner from the OP. You have use --scrypt-jane for the miner in the OP to work. I'm sorry.
