Kind of sad about Cryptsy, in many ways it mirrors the general down mood of altcoins in general these days. I first got into crypto mining LTC at LiteBonk...BigVerns first pool. That was months before the altcoin explosion and the opening of [Suspicious link removed] fact I remember on the LiteBonk forum when Feathercoin was first released BigVern joked that if BTC was gold and LTC was silver then FTC were wooden nickels. I was able to widthraw approximately 200k HBN from Cryptsy one month ago. Had stucked BTC in there so i decided to try widthraw HBN. I am not sure about current situation might be less positive I guess

CPU is pretty low, just keep your block sizes large and use the auto combine you should be in good shape.
how to use the auto combine feature? in console type command combinethreshold 1000 ( it will set the maximum it will be probably less than 1000 , seems like it can be up to 0.3% of total amount of coins in wallet) you may set up in same manner splitthreshold command |

Turns out the one I referenced is 55 for 6 months or 100 for 12 months. Can do month by month afterwards for 9.99 a month if desired. Seems like a better priced option.

Hello all. I recently received a note from dreamwatcher. The yearly fee for HBN and CAP on CCE has come due. The fee to renew both for the year is $440. For just 1 it is 275.
Is this something we want to renew as a community? If so I need your help. I can not cover the cost myself. I need to raise at least $350 from the community and I will cover the rest.

Added another 0.05232258 BTC to the HBN address. This is nearly as much as the value of all my HBN, but we need to bring things forward. There is too much blabla in HBN-community, "3k Satoshi is holding well" "Rock solid bottom" was repeated almost 100 times, but there is nobody here to bring things forward. People got used to Tranz doing everything and now we have the tragedy of the common, more than other coins. I don't care if we choose CCE, the PressTab-Explorer or any other. Whatever is the cheapest. Without a working Blockchain-Explorer, HBN could be removed from Coinmarketcap. You may want to consider switching over to https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ instead of CCE. It is an amazing alt explorer, very detailed and I believe would cost around the same. Could get bottlecaps on there at the same time. Is this something we can consider or is CCE set for those donations? Edit: After checking the renewal rate for DMD on https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ it's only $9.99 per month. That isn't bad at all after the initial cost. I hope I am reading that right. it seems that HBN and CAP community is very weak , only 0.2btc contribution made so far. best thing to do on cryptsy right now is to convert all your bitcoin or major altcoins to hobonickels and withdraw.
hobonickels withdrawal works just fine. I did quite large volume without a problem.

i was thinking to sell my myr for hbn , myr is half price sins i have them, but hbn too so i could say if i sell it i don't lose, so i have more hbn to shake
The price for crypto currency is pretty volatile. I guess that's hardly news to anyone. So will it go down any further? Probably at some point. As will it go up again at some other point too. The beauty of HBN being a POS coin is the fact that it compensates for future drops in price because the coin is it's own miner by it's minting capability. Apart from that, it comes down to everyone's best judgement to sell or buy. Absolutely what I love about HBN. It hedges against falling prices by constantly supplying me with more. I don't know how viable this will be in the long run but a nice experiment non the less. I thought we hit a floor at 3000. I would like to pick up more but skeptical of using Cryptsy for large amounts, same for that nz exchange. 1700 @ these BTC prices is more than solid, looks like it's not really falling anymore for now. The lowest low of lows was 300 sat if I remember correctly from a graph. High is around 27k ? I think we hit 70k for very short time , it was a year ago |

My HBN wallet stopped syncing , it shows 4 connections to network , but not moving or just a block here block there . I tried to add nodes , but no node new node in the node list appeared. I am about to stake so I am bit upset about it  Any ideas fellas? so I helped myself at the end , removed peers.dat and waited a bit , i have now ~10 connections . i could find this hint sooner. good luck all you hobonicklers woke up in the morning and I am 7hours behind again , something is going wrong , does anybody else have a problem to catch up blockchain or just me? |
