I was notified that there is a 15% discount/bonus for tokens held in an OmniWallet...
is this offer still active?
if so, how long do they have to be held for?
and, is there any process to register or notify they're being held to receive the bonus - or is there some sort of tracking system attached to the tokens, whereby the 15% bonus will automatically be added into the OmniWallet holding the tokens at some later point?
please clarify, thanks.
looks like a very interesting project. curious to see how it evolves... :-)

any info at all available on the development team?
one member listed on the website - "Carmen Harvey" - and the LinkedIn icon doesn't even work.
who is behind this?
that info not available = RED FLAG.
Works fine.. He claims to be from Edmonton. One of his former employers is out of business. Quickly trying to find anything aside from his Linked In profile and I find nothing. Another full stack dev with nothing online. No Github? Even I have a Git. Believable Linked In, though. Outside of contacting Sturgeon County and NAIT to confirm that he was with them at some point, I can't think of anything else. A video hangout will help, definitely. I'll post a photo for identity verification later today. NAIT Diploma in one hand, today's Edmonton Journal in the other hand, and wearing a CSF t-shirt (from previous employer). History in crypto community? Any reputability? I see some experience in IT, but nothing whatsoever that shows any track record in cryptocurrency - no history of participation in this community or any other crypto projects, no associations with any reputable players in the crypto scene...

Well, I wouldn't like to surf bitcointalk on a small screen. I'm always surprised when I hear about people willing to do everything on a smallish screen. Long list of topics, some long posts to make very long pages, and how to write quality posts without a keyboard?
I'll keep on surfing this board on my computer!
the hands-on experience with an Ipad (or equivalent tablet) can be pretty nice sometimes, however. and the phone screens do keep getting larger...

Part of it seems similar to The DAO. I read the whitepaper, I think what would help is a clear example how it can be used with a working model. I've been on the lookout for something reputation based.
it's not yet 100% clear yet all what suite of products/services will be offered, though seems the angle is an OS for DAOS - certain models and frameworks integratable and customizable for those seeking to get their own DAOs up and running... I found it interesting that the way they've set up the Backfeed magazine actually has parts of their models implemented in itself, by establishing a token/rewards system for early content contributors, curators, and promoters. if you sign up for an account and take a tour after reading that attached article - its different than just reading the article itself, as they've built in the model into the site so you actually get a hands-on experience. the particular application might be rather limited at this point, giving tokens only for article submissions, commenting, and voting on content quality - though gives one example of how such collaborative economic models (with inbuilt reputation functions) could be implemented, that you can actually get your feet wet with...

Maybe I'm the slow one here - but how do topics like this at all fit into a forum on Bitcoin...? Perhaps I overestimated the intelligence level of the overall community here... Lol

Yes, our intention is so that people don't even need to look at code to create a DAO. So we hope to seem DAOs popping up all over (of course using Wings to set up). If you are an ETH holder than Wings will be using Ethereum's network and later Rootstock (EVM on BTC) for DAO smart contracts execution, and integrate with other popular networks (such as LISK).
whether you guys pull this off or its someone else, the concept of simplification is excellent - removing the need for coding expertise to create/manage a DAO. also great is the integration between multiple networks. it may be ALOT of work to pull off successfully, but creating this type of versatility - while simplifying the DAO creation/management processes for the less-technically-inclined is a great foundational philosophy/aim to begin with...

I think it's actually better to invest in the actual DAO and see how that works out before investing in a copy.
Some would argue that the original DAO is Bitcoin, but that's all water under the bridge at this point. It seems to have worked out pretty well. We're very happy to see the adoption that Slock. It's The DAO Hub is seeing, as news of the $150+ million token sales gives exposure to a larger community of people outside the crypto echo chamber. The Wings team has been working on this for some time and we can say that while Wings is also a DAO like "The DAO", the focus is on being a simple to use DAO platform to enable even more DAOs to pop up like mushrooms in a Merkle tree forest. We're also working on a very cool decentralized chatbot technology that will make it unbelievably easy to launch, manage and participate in new DAOs using Ethereum smart contracts - and plan to support the EVM both on Ethereum and Bitcoin (when Rootstock is out). great concept and potential if can get the execution right. looking forward to watching developments with this. is there a Wings Slack channel open for public to join?

I've sent some Bitcoin to the address provided on the site (OpenLedger seemed too complex and their listed BTC rates seemed questionable, so went direct) and emailed transaction proof to chrisbates01@gmail.com as instructed... When/how will the payment be verified? Will the Cadastrals wallet be entirely hosted on OpenLedger, or will the Bitland site have its own wallet to check the balance from that transaction?
