541  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 5K$ soon on: January 05, 2020, 08:25:41 PM
It looks like the Bitcoin price has support again and is coming back to $7500. I think this is the end of whales trying to lower prices and now the consolidation period will begin. I don't think we'll see the $5000 price again in the near future. But the dump before halving is still very possible.
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: January 05, 2020, 08:02:15 PM
Everybody can predict the price and someone will succeed. However, I would not take seriously the words of a person who has been in prison for several years and even if it once meant a lot to the development of Bitcoin, now, unfortunately, he has nothing to do with it.
543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is the cryptocurrency market starting to improve slowly? on: January 05, 2020, 06:33:19 PM
There is no clear improvement in the cryptographic market so far, but I hope that much will change this year and that the market will begin to recover and improve.

It is true that we cannot talk about increases yet, but I think that the charts already show some stabilization. I think a good sign is that there are less and less large jumps in price (above 10%) in one day. In my opinion, this means that whales no longer try to manipulate the price and start buying. I think that a stable price increase will start soon.
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: January 05, 2020, 05:30:38 PM
hopefully coins that is only pump and dump and do not have a working product will disappear when bitcoin crashes back  to $5000 or even lower. If those scam projects will be deleted im sure the market will become healthy again and altseason will happen.

If those scam projects (as you refer to) were to disappear from the market it would probably mean more funding and investment for the remaining crypto or genuine crypto projects.

Maybe the only immediate advantage of a $5000 Bitcoin scenario would be the hopefully collapse and removal of all trash coins.

Many coins can be called forgotten, but it still does not improve the market situation. We don't really know how many of them must fall for the situation to improve. Certainly the situation will become clearer at the time of the new bull run. There will definitely be a big difference between projects that are still developing and those that were just fake, or fall. A drop below $5000 would surely brighten up this situation.
545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: January 05, 2020, 04:36:08 PM
I must confess that the information on this thread is very detailed and impressive. I learnt a lot from the information provided and its amazing that we have such a large number of decentralized exchange. I believe this thread would be of immense benefit to traders and every cryptocurrency enthusiast.
We can follow this thread and hopefully will keep updating this thread.
I agree that we have a large number of DEX in the space but the problem is the trading volume because in overall it's still very low compared to the Centralized exchanges in total. That explains that people still trust centralized exchange more over the DEX and there less benefit if a project is listed in DEX.

I think the reason more people use centralized exchanges is not because they trust them more, but because they don't know what DEX exchange is. I think that when people educate about DEX, volumes on decentralized exchanges will start to grow. It's just a matter of time.
546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bad days for crypto on: December 20, 2019, 03:42:52 PM
at the end of the year now even for the price of crypto has not experienced a significant increase. so maybe we will never know when crypto has increased significantly, so I think now at the end of 2019 it will be very difficult for crypto to increase. the potential will remain but in 2020

Only a small expectation will emerge next year because the end of the year is just counting the next few days. So if there isn't a big change this year, it won't change the situation.

The situation will not change until the end of January. Now everyone is spending money on Christmas gifts and do not invest in cryptocurrencies. In January people will figure out how much they spent in December and they won't invest in cryptocurrencies either. For the first increases we will have to wait until February.
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: fundraising question on: December 20, 2019, 03:12:19 PM
Could and ICO be run like a fundraiser ?
Tokens could be used to buy product at awesome discount price waay below market.
Is that something that can be done ?

Actually, this is the exact sense and purpose for which ICO was created. By selling tokens, the funds needed to develope the project are collected. Investors who purchased tokens will be able to use the services provided by the project, on preferential terms.
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] IDEX 2.0 Referral Program - $100k prize 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 on: December 20, 2019, 02:39:52 PM
We have over 4,000 users registered for the trading competition! Thanks to everyone who has helped refer users, one more week until the competition starts! Don't miss your chance to win a $100,000 node!
Please give me reason why the winner just one person for reward $100,000 ?
I think is good if you give $100,000 for 500 user if they win in the trading competition.

It seems to me that 500 prizes it is too many. I think that $100k could be divided into 20 or 30 attractive prizes. However, I am actually surprised that there is no discussion on this topic, or even an explanation why this is just one prize.

So if I understand correctly, this Christmas gift of $200 is to try out the platform and cannot be withdrawn even after repeatedly placing bets.
Will the winnings thanks to it be withdrawable or is the first deposit also required?

All gifts and bonuses can be removed only by our customers, after making a deposit, after a certain time. There are no miracles and we give money only to our customers.

However, everyone can learn to trade for free on the platform. If you learn to trade profitably, replenish your account and then withdraw the deposit.

Of course there are no miracles. I just wanted to make sure what "$200 after registration" meant. Now I understood that these are points to learn how to trade on your platform.

I would also be grateful for the closer description, what does "certain time" mean?

550  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: December 16, 2019, 04:29:50 PM
Dear yahoo62278 can you check him available or not for joining your campaign with negative trust account? KTChampions

Why don't you come here with your real account? Let me guess.. Because KTChampions painted your real account red and if you appear here you would get more red comments. Am I right?
551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 3000+ Cryptocurrency on Coinmarketcap on: December 15, 2019, 06:27:21 PM
There are still lots of coins which is not listed on coinmarketcap. Hopefully coinmarketcap can tell us which coin is a pump and dump, and i wish all shit coins will be eliminated. 500 coins on coinmarketcap is much better.

With such a huge speed of creation of new coins and tokens, Coinmarketcap is not able to even add them all. They do not have time to analyze them well and they are already making many mistakes at this point and they sometimes post a scam coin. I think that there will come a moment when they will have to simply remove half of positions and start to thoroughly analyze what will stay.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has the crypto market reached its bottom yet? on: December 15, 2019, 06:12:54 PM
I believe that cryptocurrency will fall by at least 20 percent. Therefore, I’m waiting to buy tokens, and then I will wait 2 years until the coins grow.

So you are one of the few who has not made any purchases yet?  Wink Grin
Very interesting, it may turn out that you are one of the best cryptocurrency investors. Unfortunately, we are not sure if the price will fall, but in my opinion it is very likely. So I wish you that your prediction would come true.
553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: December 15, 2019, 05:43:26 PM
There will definitely be many altcoins that will never rise again even if Bitcoin reaches the new ATH. However, I think some of the top10 have a chance to break away from the Bitcoin price and set its own price. In my opinion, Ethereum has the greatest chance, but first let's see if hardfork succeeds.

NEW YEAR'S GIFT

https://bsport.org/ - gives $ 200 after registration + 100 coins for each invitee. Details of the action see here: https://forbes.ru.com/

It's really an amazing Christmas gift !!

The description at the given link is in Russian only, could I ask what are the conditions to withdraw this prize? (I'm sorry I'm so direct, but I'm sure that if I don't ask about it, in few minutes a few other people will do it.. Wink )

To withdraw money, you will need to first make a deposit of $ 200 and play a little. But you can remove it without any problems.

Soon the project will be translated into English. But technical support also works in English.

So if I understand correctly, this Christmas gift of $200 is to try out the platform and cannot be withdrawn even after repeatedly placing bets.
Will the winnings thanks to it be withdrawable or is the first deposit also required?
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: December 15, 2019, 03:54:08 PM
With all due respect to Litecoin and Mr. Lee, I'm afraid I would choose Ethereum. I don't know why, but Litecoin is growing very slowly and despite the fact that the transactions are quite fast and the fees are very low, I do not think that it can handle the weight of greater adoption. Ethereum is much better suited for large-scale adoption, and if the upcoming hardfork succeeds, its value will definitely increase significantly.
556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: December 14, 2019, 05:11:16 PM
alt movements won't be too far from closing monthly prices, at least not for the majority of coins. altcoin is not like bitcoin which can go down so deep, if btc coins react again to consolidate, altcoin will try to break up the previous support points. The price will indeed go down in accordance with the BTC pair, but the trader assets which are accumulated will increase again.

Of course, if the price of Bitcoin starts to fall by 10% or 20% every day, then the prices of altcoins will not even be able to fall so much. Altcoin prices were falling so much when the Bitcoin price was falling slowly. However, if it happens that the price of Bitcoin drops to $5k or lower, some altcoins will be so low that they will not rise from this level again. I am not talking now about top100 altcoins but from further positions.

558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Has the crypto market reached its bottom yet? on: December 14, 2019, 03:59:07 PM
When we look at what is happening on the market, we can see without a doubt that there is a lack of investors and not enough fresh capital on the market. I am afraid that this situation will continue for several weeks, so unfortunately, but it is very likely that whales will continue to try to lower the price and look for a new bottom.
I also think that those who have a lot of money are trying to find new lowest prices, those who have lots of capital can manipulate the market but if the people on the market are wise enough I think they will have difficulty manipulating prices in the market

I don't think that most Bitcointalk users are unaware of the situation, but anyway if whales want to lower the price they will do it. Now just the question is, how deep is the bottom that they want to reach. Let's hope it is not at $1k

560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: December 14, 2019, 10:03:49 AM
At first, I think that altcoin is just primarily based on bitcoin prices. But if you are going to think about it, cryptocurrencies have different technologies behind them, so I don't think that bitcoin must exist so these altcoins are going to boom as well. There are different cryptocurrencies that exist before bitcoin but bitcoin wasn't based on them. Bitcoin is the number 1 right now so it is going to be difficult.

I'm not sure about what cryptocurrencies existing before Bitcoin are you talking about ?! Can you give some examples?

As for the technology standing behind Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it is quite similar. I think you mean usability - and here many cryptocurrencies will certainly find their place on the market. And that's why, in my opinion, there will come a time when altcoin prices will change regardless of what happens to the BTC price.
