We’re pleased to announce we have made improvements to our interface in response to user feedback. You can now set your preferred baseline bet amount for each game in your account settings. Naturally, the bet amount range varies on the type of game. Eventually, players will see larger betting ranges available based on their relationship with Wajur Mobile Casino. For example, players can bet up to $10 USD equivalent on a hand of Blackjack upon registering their account, but larger bets will become possible eventually.

We are posting our responses to the sugessted feedback here, rather than the campaign thread.  First up:

Bet Amounts



We have a very simple, very easy-to-use betting system.  Unfortunately, it isn't currently customizable.  We know this needs to become more flexible because not every player has the same notion of a "small" or "large" bet.  We currently pin the lowest bet to something around $0.20 US, which leads to the "awkward" bet amounts.


Constraints:

• As a mobile-focused site we want to ensure that we clearly present a few obvious buttons for bet amounts.
• Due to the progressive nature of games like Stack5, we have to limit the scale between the lowest and highest wager offered.
• Due to our finite bankroll, we have to limit the maximum bet on games with a huge potential payout (Video Poker can pay 800x)

Proposals:
We intend to allow players to set their own betting scale by specifying their preferred minimum bet.  This would allow us to keep the very simple buttons we currently show, but allow more advanced players to change the default amounts.

We are still debating whether this should be set once on the player's account, or set (and remembered) separately on each type of game.  By setting the scale independently, we could allow games like Blackjack to accept much higher wagers.  On the other hand, setting the scale once on the player's account page is easier to understand and keeps all the settings together.

We may run this campaign again in the future, but no one was asked to risk more than they could win.  In a previous post we walked through the math.

Thanks for the feedback on https://wajur.com/stack5. We are definitely considering a variant of it. And one more thing about Stack 5, there is a betting strategy to this game, if you haven't discovered it. When a coin falls into a slot, it starts to build a stack. Once 5 coins have stacked in the same slot, the payout for said slot doubles for the next coin landing. This means that you can build a plinko grid that cannot lose on the next round, at which point you should consider a different betting strategy.

This is the last day to compete for this campaign.  Only two players have submitted qualified feedback, so there is plenty of room for others to win the Additional Prizes.  Don't leave money sitting on the table...

Hi Jacee, you successfully qualified (you played all the games, used a mobile browser, etc).  You appear to be in a dominant position to capture the Blackjack Additional Prize.

We are sorry your luck wasn't better.  In fairness, you won or pushed on slightly more than half of your Blackjack hands, all of which can be downloaded from the player page in CSV format (which is easy to open in Excel or other spreadsheets).

We hope you feel like you got your money's worth, and obviously there will be at least a participation prize coming your way.

We accept any valid bitcoin address.  Our caution about ensuring that you "control the address" just means that you should be certain you can access any funds sent to it.  Your deposit address at an exchange is still an address you control, so that's fine.

Hi Magneto, thanks for playing!  You successfully qualified by playing all 5 games, with a strong emphasis on Stack5 and you used an iPhone for some of it.  Well done.

We will deposit your rewards in your https://wajur.com account when the campaign/tournament is over.  Until then, we don't know what Additional Prizes you qualified for.

In retrospect, we should have had a "first person to post qualified feedback" award.  If you don't qualify for any additional prizes, we will invent that prize for you.

We are open to lowering the minimum deposit, but it may be perceived as unfair to the people who are already participating if we change the rules so close to the end.

Likewise, there are some people who previously refused to participate due to the deposit size, but who now will have insufficient time or opportunity.

We are also open to extending the campaign if we make changes to the rules, but only if posters here agree to the idea.

Any eligible participant is expected to at least break even unless they purposefully spend more coin than necessary to meet our basic requirements.

Let's do the math.

The minimum slots bet amount is approximately 0.00027BTC (it varies based on exchange rate, but it's not volatile).  Therefore, you could satisfy the "10 hands/spins on a MOBILE browser" requirement by risking only 0.0027BTC.  On Blackjack or Video Poker you'd be hard pressed to lose 10 in a row, but on slots it can happen, so let's assume you lose the entire 0.0027BTC.

We also have the requirement that you "play all five of the games with BTC".  If you bet the minimum for the 4 additional games (note that one game has a slightly higher minimum bet), it would cost you an additional 0.00135BTC.

So, if you did the minimum work and lost every play, which is unlikely, you would only be down 0.0027 + 0.00135 == 0.00405BTC.

The minimum payout for participants is, you guessed it, 0.004BTC, and that's for the lowest eligible member rank with no additional prizes.

There is no reason not to participate.  There isn't even a reason to restrict yourself to the bare minimum of plays.

All 10 mobile spins have to be for BTC^*.  At https://wajur.com, we only associate the activity with your account if you are logged in, and if you are logged in you are using "real money".

There is no problem using a desktop to make your deposits and play some hands.  It's very easy to use the same account on multiple devices.  We just want to ensure that feedback comes from people who have at least some experience with our site in the mobile environment it's tailored for.


* Note: real money spins will be counted for litecoin and dogecoin as well.
