This matter is now resolved - locking this topic. Thank you to everybody who helped us navigate and understand the trust system.

Cheers!

As noted in the email regarding the new T&C and operating entity change, we have started closing accounts inactive for a very long time (several years) and notifying such users via email.

That said, do not hesitate to contact our support team regarding any questions or assistance related to this topic https://help.slushpool.com/support/tickets/new

We just messaged all who gave a bad trust rating right after the hack ("2017-01-04"). But there seems to be no consensus about how many have to help us for the message to go away.. Actually it seems it wont help anyway.

Is there anything else we could try?
- Add positive ratings to tip the scales maybe?
- Beg Theymos for help in this odd case?
- Any other creative ideas?
- Anything that slush himself can do?
4  Other / Meta / Help request - legendary user "slush" tagged as a scammer during forum hack on: June 03, 2021, 01:26:11 PM
Hello fellow Bitcointalkers!

Some time ago user "slush" was hacked - it was during the time some bitcointalk pw hashes were stolen. Some scammer brutforced his account and started posting scams which were reported by other members. User slush got his account back very soon after the hack and setup a strong pw but a warning message is displayed in all threads he started years after the btctalk hack and we cant find a way to "appeal" or something.

For example, the original thread about Slush Pool is tagged as created by a scammer: "Warning: One or more bitcointalk.org users have reported that they strongly believe that the creator of this topic is a scammer. (Check their trust page to see the detailed trust ratings.) While the bitcointalk.org administration does not verify such claims, you should proceed with extreme caution." link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976.0

We, braiins.com acquired Slush Pool from Slush himself in summer 2020
1/ announcement https://braiins.com/blog/braiins-acquires-remaining-stake-in-slush-pool-slush-focusing-on-satoshilabs
2/ twitter proof https://twitter.com/slush/status/1346139300547735555

We would ideally announce that pool is under Braiins now, close the pool thread (not for new people to write new comments but keeping it public for the history purposes) and create a new thread which would be moderated by us / Braiins. But keeping the first mining pool thread ever for historical purposes with a scam warning seems very odd.

It would be nice to get rid of the scammer warning. Come on, forum hashes were hacked and slush himself is not a scammer, he is a cool guy who did and continues to do a lot for the BTC. So please, is there anybody who can help us? Tried reaching out to admins, tried tweeting at bitcointalk... but no luck / no response.

Anybody has any tip please?

Have a good day!
- Braiins team

New mining stack on the way! Secure, transparent and flexible

We are designing a new mining protocol, Stratum v2, with the aim of addressing all the major issues of the current one. To provide a complete mining stack — open-source and compatible throughout — we have also taken a big step and started designing the new mining software in Rust language.

Now, we’re almost done with the design and would like to invite you all to participate in our effort to create this open standard. We’d be delighted to listen to your needs to find out what features you’d like to see in the new mining package.

Dear miners,
the most requested data export feature is here!

Export your payout, reward and activity data for your tax reports (yay) or whatever else you need it for.

Now you can easily download history of your payouts, rewards and even activities in standard CSV and JSON formats,
comfortably readable by both humans and machines.

Available exclusively on Slush Pool 3
Enjoy and let us know if there is something we can improve!

any update on the merged mining payouts that have been held up for over a year? that you stated a month ago would handled within a few weeks?

Any update on the merged mining payout? Also, on the new site I can't even seem to get to the Namecoin rewards to see the infinite number of blocks that are stuck in a processing state. Am I missing something here....other than the merged mining payouts. HAHA

Hi,

we are working on that. We believe the NMC payouts are going to be processed until the end of April/at the beginning of May.

We are once again sorry about the delay.

The NMC rewards for the previous year will be paid out within a few weeks.
We are very sorry for the delay.

at what value? current market value or are you going to compensate users for the fact that had you paid timely they would have 1000 times more cash then they will now that the value of NMC is basically zero?

NMC will be paid out exactly according to the exchange rate.
There have been several exchanges last year. We will provide more details when we will pay out NMC.
10  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [4+ EH] Slush Pool (slushpool.com); Overt AsicBoost; World First Mining Pool on: February 12, 2019, 10:15:25 AM

we will look into that.
You can report the bugs also on this website.

Thanks!

you guys always glaze over/skip the question about NMC - care to address? I mean it might be pretty moot seeing as NMC is near worthless now, but it was not worthless last year when payouts suddenly stopped.

The NMC rewards for the previous year will be paid out within a few weeks.
We are very sorry for the delay.

- ability to remove multiple workers at once
- option to log out all sessions
- [Bitcoin] support for payouts to bech32 addresses

- [Bitcoin] we now refer to blockstream.info block explorer

Explore Slush Pool 3 today!

Once you are fairly familiar with the new website, we would like to ask you to provide some brief feedback (about 5 minutes of your time).

Do you have a bug reporting form on the site or can we report bugs here as well? I dunno if this is just for me, but it seems that if I remove focus from the Chrome tab containing the beta interface I get a blank page. After maybe a bit more than a minute or two it suddenly appears again. The previous/current site does not exhibit this behaviour.

Hi,

we will look into that.
You can report the bugs also on this website.

Thanks!

All the sudden slush pool has my confirmed and unconfirmed rewards zero'd out but my hash rate is still good at +/- 50 kh/s and worker status is up.

Is this happening to anyone else ?

Hello dude, rewards are distributed when a block is found. See this article on our reward system: https://slushpool.com/help/manual/rewards

Hi guys, perhaps this was discussed here before. Slushpool is showing that they paid me 0.1 BTC 1 month ago however I didn't get it. Wallet address did not change and I did receive 0.1 BTC to this address from slushpool before. Their payout link showing transaction.

Can someone tell me what's going on ? Where is it ?

Thanks for all the help.

Hello, there has to be an explanation.

Please contact our support team, they will look into it: https://support.slushpool.com/conversation/new

Is anyone mining ZEC with Slushpool with Innosilicon A9? If yes what are your daily rewards?
I mined for one day with Slush and 0.159 ZEC was my Confirmed reward, while the Estimated Daily Reward was 0.44930856 ZEC.
Why is that huge difference? Thank you.

It is an estimate based on the share of our pool and the condition that luck is 100 %. In reality, luck, of course, fluctuate around this value which causes short-term variance in rewards. Don't worry and keep mining. Smiley

Beyond that - does Slush even run on ckpool, or do they use one of the few other public pool programs, or their own pool software?

We have our very own backend.
