will slush 3.0 finally pay out the year of backlogged NMC? back when it was $13 a coin and no one was getting their NMC....

Those are donations to the pool.

haha yea right? I have had miners on other pools that promised to pay out extra little bits in alt coins and actually did and still do such as viaBTC pool - when I last mined there, they paid out BTC along with 3 other alt coins if you were mining BTC. What makes it bad is slush shows you the NMC there but the payouts are all pending.

SLUSH POOL 3 NOW AVAILABLE IN PUBLIC BETA!

Dear miners,

New Slush Pool is here, featuring modern responsive design and functional improvements.
Try it and help us out polishing the product during beta phase!

What's new?

- responsive interface
- customizable dashboard (see the Edit button)
- new access profile system and updated API (now for Zcash too)
- longer hash rate chart history
- ability to remove multiple workers at once
- option to log out all sessions
- [Bitcoin] support for payouts to bech32 addresses
- [Zcash] support for payouts to shielded Z-addresses
- [Bitcoin] we now refer to blockstream.info block explorer

Explore Slush Pool 3 today!

Once you are fairly familiar with the new website, we would like to ask you to provide some brief feedback (about 5 minutes of your time).

Do you have a bug reporting form on the site or can we report bugs here as well? I dunno if this is just for me, but it seems that if I remove focus from the Chrome tab containing the beta interface I get a blank page. After maybe a bit more than a minute or two it suddenly appears again. The previous/current site does not exhibit this behaviour.

you guys always glaze over/skip the question about NMC - care to address? I mean it might be pretty moot seeing as NMC is near worthless now, but it was not worthless last year when payouts suddenly stopped.

Don't get me started on how shitty slushpool is. This "beta" shit is the same UI with features they should have built in years ago.

is anyone noticing lower "scoring hashrate" in the last couple of weeks then it was reported before?

the pool is reporting my 13.5-14T S9s as 12.x - 13T most of the time.

Almost like they lost access to the NMC wallet and can't change the settings.  lol

The NMC rewards for the previous year will be paid out within a few weeks.

at what value? current market value or are you going to compensate users for the fact that had you paid timely they would have 1000 times more cash then they will now that the value of NMC is basically zero?

NMC will be paid out exactly according to the exchange rate.
There have been several exchanges last year. We will provide more details when we will pay out NMC.

exchange rate as of now? or as of the time the reward was actually earned?  remember it has not been paid out for over a year. and at that time because slush stopped payout right around the time NMC peaked at its all time highest value - coincidence? I think not.

Thinking we're getting fractions of pennies instead of our fractions of quarters.  Sad

that is my guess as well and one of the main reasons I do not mine on Slush anymore - I get my alt coin payouts steadily on via BTC though - and yes it is pretty much equal to pennies but at least they pay out what they claim they will payout.

Slush has not for a year. If they do now, good - and about damn time.

That's the thing with luck... You could increase your chances, but not the results. Ie you may have a 99% chance of winning (buy 99 tickets from a lottery of 100 tickets), and yet you can lose, TWICE  Sad

Throw a coin, should be 50/50 right? actually there is a 2% chance it lands standing. What are the chances of the next throw to make it land standing again? 2%. Very unlikely but possible.

In theory it should approach 100%. Another possible reason for bad luck could be misbehaving mining equipment or rentals, not sure what the exact issue is why some pools do ban some gear.

Dear miners,
the most requested data export feature is here!

Export your payout, reward and activity data for your tax reports (yay) or whatever else you need it for.

Now you can easily download history of your payouts, rewards and even activities in standard CSV and JSON formats,
comfortably readable by both humans and machines.

Available exclusively on Slush Pool 3
Enjoy and let us know if there is something we can improve!

Hello, I have a question hoping you can answer:

I have 6 Antminer s9 mining on slushpool with an average of 82 Th/s, I have set my "minimum difficulty" to "14848".

Is that the "best" setting? what happens if set the difficult low or very high ?

THANKS  Smiley

The "best" setting is just to let the pool manage the difficulty, so set it to 128/Auto the pool will then adjust the difficulty depending on the share return rate of the miner in question.

You only need to tweak it if your miners are showing lower hash rates than expected. There is an explanation here: https://slushpool.com/help/first-aid/troubleshooting

Leave it at auto, wait for a day and see what your average hash rate has been for each miner, if its as expected then don't worry. You won't make enough of a difference to waste time over.

Thanks a lot Smiley I have set the min. Diff. to "auto" and the pool changed it to "16384". Hope that I get the best result now.
